Purchase Experience - Purchase experience was a nightmare, increased the freight cost dramatically over what the website said it would be, communication horrible, had to file complaint with credit card company to get results. Would never order from them again.
I had a great experience when dealing with www.simplyplumbing.com. They did not have everything I need so I called their customer service department and they ordered it for me. I received everything fast. I would order again.
I had bought some pipe and fittings, and got free shipping. Later on I reliased that I need to double the sizer of my project. And Ordered the exact same stuff. But I was then contacted and told that free shipping was not available on "multiple orders"
As luck would have it, my furnace quit three days after Christmas. The diagnosis was a failed pump & transformer which my local heating & cooling shop said they couldnt get for at least a week. With temps in the 20s & 30s I knew I had to do something fast! On Thursday night, I checked online with SimplyPlumbing.com out of New York and they had the parts in stock so I ordered them 2nd day air to be delivered on Saturday. On Friday I placed a follow-up call to Simply Plumbing to verify my order. The lady told me that UPS was taking the weekend off due to New Years and that I wouldnt receive my parts until next Tuesday. With temps expected to dip into single digits by then, I asked her what I could do to still get them on Saturday. What she said next almost brought me to tears! She said that she would upgrade my shipping to Next-day air to overnight the parts and that I should have them by mid-day on Saturdayat no extra charge! WOW! I thought compassion was long dead, especially with faceless, online companies. I was wrong! Simply Plumbing saved the day, my holiday, and probably my marriage! The parts were here by noon on Saturday and we had heat again an hour later. It blows my mind that an online company half-way across the country would have more consideration and kindness towards me than my local service company! Simply Plumbing is an awesome company with top of the line customer service! Five-stars plus! Thank you from the bottom of my heart Simply Plumbing!
Start with positives to be fair, price was right and shipped it all good. They misrepresented a Delta Lahara series shower head with the water/temp control package. They had a 2.5 GPM head pictured and in the specifications. They shipped a 1.75 GPM cheaper head. When I called them on it they either didnt tell the truth or are sloppy, take your pick. They said Delta doesnt make a 2.5 GPM head, well on deltafaucet.com there it is the RP*******SS Rain can shower head in Brillant SS. Same one as in our master shower, they dont make a 2.5 GPM those funny folks. Again lie or sloppy or both as its still described and shown on the site in another 3 piece group with the divertor spout included (*******). They were quick to change the 2 piece specs (*******) but not the pic, still the rain can. Took screen shots, have the BS emails, and oh ya they blamed Delta for changing the packaging. Well not worth my time, about a $20 difference between the two which I offered to pay but they chose to blow me off. Bought the right one on build.com for $60. Should have learned my lesson on the cheapest deal. Shop elsewhere... on to the next review site.
