What a cool experience! My young adult daughter and I were only here for one day but we managed to even out our time at the water park and at the theme park. We visited July 19,2019. I was pleasantly surprised that the park wasn't super packed. There were some really cool roller coasters. We only rode a couple and my favorite was the Superman. We have Six Flags memberships so we are able to visit other parks at no additional cost. This was a bonus perk :). So if you are considering going but are a little hesitant... let me reassure you it will be worth the trip. We had a great time and stayed almost the entire day. Next time we're back in San Antonio, I know Six Flags will be on the to do list.
I never thought I'd have to write a review like this, but after my experience at Six Flags New England on October 14,2024, I feel compelled to share what happened. My two friends and I, all of Asian descent, arrived at the park around 4:30 PM, excited for a fun day ahead. However, our trip quickly turned sour when we encountered security staff member Joe Villar. Without any explanation or information, he assumed we were under 18 (we are all over 21) and demanded that we show our IDs. His tone was rude, and his attitude was condescending, as if he had already decided that we didn't belong there. It was clear that he had made assumptions based on our appearance. When we asked why we needed to show our IDs, Joe threatened us and even tried to physically push us out of the park entrance. It was a shockingly aggressive response, and we felt deeply disrespected and unsafe. We left to retrieve our physical IDs from the car, thinking that might resolve the issue, but when we returned, Joe once again blocked us, stating that we were "already denied entry." There was no reasoning, no explanation—just outright refusal. What made this experience even worse was the blatant racial discrimination. Joe Villar's attitude was a clear display of racial superiority, making us feel unwelcome simply because we were Asian. His arrogance and condescending behavior throughout made it painfully obvious that this was more than just a policy enforcement; it felt personal, as if he saw us as less deserving of respect and entry compared to others. This wasn't just a bad day at a theme park—this was discrimination, plain and simple. To anyone considering going to Six Flags New England, I'd strongly advise reconsidering. A fun trip shouldn't be ruined by someone who uses their position of authority to act superior and discriminate against others. The fact that this park allows someone like Joe Villar to represent them is concerning. If you value respect and fairness, I'd recommend looking elsewhere for your next amusement park adventure. Our three-hour drive was completely wasted, and I'm left with a terrible memory instead of the fun day we were expecting. Six Flags needs to take this seriously and investigate, or risk losing more customers who won't tolerate this kind of treatment. Until then, I cannot recommend this place to anyone.
Six flags over GA has the worst management I've seen in an amusement park. I have been over charged while purchasing items. I have filed 3 complaints trying to get a refund for an item I never received or purchased. Only to be completely ignored. Nobody has ever returned my call or email. Not once. I will not be going back. 6 years of being pass holders and it gets worse every year. I was charged 26 dollars on my card for a 7 dollar pair of socks
Tip for consumers:
Worst management I've seen

I'm not sure what happened to six flags New England, but it went downhill. If you want to get into Hurricane harbor you'll have to pay extra, on top of the outrageous ticket price. And then to top it all off the park itself is so dirty & gross. I'm very disappointed.
I've been visiting Magic Mountain every year since 2015 with my wife & 2 children. My last visit was Nov. 2022 and we will never go back!
The park is suffering from many things especially
1) Lack of customer service
2) Lack of maintenance throughout the park
First, the park was very trashy and "used" looking.
There was trash and debris everywhere & most of the rides needed a good paint job.
There were Xmas lights thrown into planters and the connections were ducked taped together, very unsafe.
The paint on most of their rides was flaking and/or fading and many of the metal parts were rusted.
Its obvious they dont put any money into maintaining their rides.
The once good looking park has turned into shambles and that is not enjoyable since the park charges extra money for everything.
Do yourself a favor and visit one of the other parks in the area
Everything was going all right (not good, just alright) until we figured out that there was supposed to be rain. We were given no warning. All of the rides just shut down at once while no one was alerted except for the staff. I have seen much better service at smaller theme parks, but apparently these big corporations have no time for us, even though it's our money. We had 2 flood warnings in effect, and a tornado warning while we were kept in the dark. We didn't figure anything out until about 45 min after the rain started. Overall, just a bad bunch of staff.
As an avid rollercoaster fan, and long standing season pass holder, I bought the Superman, The Ride nanocoaster online for $37.99 ( w/tax and delivery $46.60). It is a cheap sheet metal model, tiny in size (truly nano), with directions more vague than Ikea. The sheet metal models at Harbor Freight are bigger and better for $10.00. Do not waste your money, it is not worth the price.
It's worth $20.00 tops. Pic is shown with a toothpick for scale.

My family are season pass holders, we have been coming to six flags for about 20 years. We were denied access to park and entry into the park for showing at 7:50. Apparently there is a new rule that you cannot enter at 8:00 P.M EST, however the park does not close down until 9:00 P.M EST. There is no where on the park or on the website that says this is a rule. We were extremely upset and disappointed about this. On top of this the customer service or lack of is terrible. You cannot even get someone on the phone. I reached out to there chat service and was told basically that is up to the park and can be done at any time. Thanks for making us drive almost 2 hours for nothing. I don't think we will renew our season passes next year after this disappointing night.
I found tons of emails that they said they sent out for a raise in memberships. All said they never received. Response was if you didn't receive it you will soon. You still charged it. Shame on you.I screen shot them all. Can't get a person on customer service. Disgrace to you.
If you're a member spending hundreds of dollars a year just to have the membership and don't check your online account every month, they'll tack a totally non refundable, non negotiable reactivation fee on your account if your card expires, etc. They don't email to let you know of a failed payment, they just charge the fee. Any other company would send an email letting you know the card failed and give you time to update it. How desperate must they be for money to charge fees without first notifying their members there's a problem?
The entire park is staffed with high school - aged kids. One employee was being so nasty to customers that I asked for her manager. Her manager appeared to be the same age as the employee and ultimately sided with her friend. I then went to the main office in the front of the park. The girl that came out from there was even younger.
We spent $400 (tickets, parking, food, snacks, drinks) to walk around a park and never got to ride even 1 ride. Rides were shut down for "weather" but never had a drop of rain or lightning in the 5 hours we were there. Workers were extremely rude and food was cold and disgusting. I grew up going to Six Flags in the 80's & early 90's. I have such fond memories of going throughout the years. I couldn't wait for our son to have the same memories of his first Six Flags experience. It was the worst day ever. This place is so run down and dirty. I was in utter shock. I could have gone to 4 movies and walked my local park and had a better time. Clearly the owners only care about making money and not the satisfaction of customers. Hell they should be handing out jars of Vaseline to go with the tickets. Dang what a disappointment and total scam. Felt like a glorified carnival in the worse way possible.
I just got off of the ride, and I have never been more scared for my life on a roller coaster, I have been on the fire ball multiple times, I live here in San Antonio, six flags is one of my favorite places, so having to write this, feel this way is so disappointing. The ride continued getting stuck, while we were upside down in the air, and did not feel comfortable nor safe, and the workers are rude and disrespectful, I am so disappointed. Six flags, has got to upgrade, their rides, workers, and the rides feel very aggressive, and cheaply made. Which they didn't used to feel this way. Everything has changed and I don't even enjoy 6 flags anymore. Everyone is rude, and the rides are not even fun anymore. They're scary.
Ok so i used to love going to six flags. This year i purchased a season pass, mostly because it says it comes with "2 skip the line passes" & "bring 5 friends for a discounted price" which is very misleading considering after i spent $170 you can only use the skip the line passes on weekDAYS… so my family and i went on a Saturday since i work during the week and can only go on weekends, you can only bring 1 friend for a discounted price per visit!? What a scam. Not to mention you cant get a hold of anyone on the phone and their app doesnt even show you where lockers are in the parks. So inconvenient
I recently was convinced to join a travel club that is a total rip off. Global exchange/RCI, TO BE EXACT. I'm obligated to pay thousands of dollars for a travel club that I have not been able to use. This club is widely known for it's fraudulent deals and broken promises. However, six flags fiesta Texas allows them to post up at the park and give away false vacations and free tickets and take advantage of guest who go to park to enjoy themselves, not to be financially stripped and taken advantage of by this fraudulent vacation scheme.
I've had the most horrible experience trying to cancel my membership. If you buy just for 1 year it's fine, but don't think you're getting a great deal if you buy reoccurring one. Once you hit the 6 month mark, they say cancel at anytime. It's impossible to cancel! The card I used to purchase originally was canceled and I thought I was done with them, finally. They found my checking and routing # and chargec me that way. Thankfully, I have a great bank and helped to get rid of them. Fingers crossed. Don't purchase!
Six flags has a new bag policy and apparently our backpack was to big so kids had to take it back the car. I stood and watched a good 10 mins while the kids ran our bag back to the car many other get passed through by the same police officer with the exact same size bag and some bigger so guess there isn't a rule it's whoever the police officer wants to let through with the bag gets in otherwise you have to take it back to your car but just to let yall know I watched several that were told there bag was to big and to go back to the exit walk straight past me and into the park so great job on policing that
I purchased a plane ticket (Belgium to USA), I booked a hotel, I did rent a car, I payed entrance and parking,...
Because I wanted to visit Six Flags Magic Mountain (The thrill capital of the world).
I experience that many rides were closed or had only 1 train (so long waiting line).
So I was very sad!
Wtf!
No cancellation/refunds!
Yet there stupid flash pass way tooooo overly pricy for one damn I mean come on! FOR $#*!IN DAY?!. Plus per person and expensive bs! $22 bucks cup for your all day drink. These snakes!

Hell no I don't support six flags bout after trying pocket from us.
Just to get things rolling,I have to mentioned that i had such a bad experience being at this SIx Flags for the 1st time. For starters with everything being so expensive, I figured that the park would be more organized than a complete mess. Yes that the app gives you all the information that is needed, plus making sure that you buy also food, parking, etc. Being the Freight Fest experience was not, I thought that they would have let the people that were there already asked to leave at 5 p.m and then have the people who actually paid for the Fright Fest would just have access to food, rides, plus the haunted houses/ mazes, the answer to that NO. Everything is the park was packed, the roller coaster lines were not moving, the food places were just not moving either, plus no people/ actors were hired to walk around and scar people. I just would have thought that with these prices they would have had a better organized system, which they did not have. I hope that this help anyone that looking to experience the theme park of Six Flags in Vallejo, Ca.
Tip for consumers:
It would have been a better experience if they had had there services organized... I love going to these theme parks that we have in California, but we also have to figure out that these prices are way to high and some time us or any other family members can't afford them. Something must be done so that we may all have a awesome experience and be able to recommend these local attractions to everyone else.
I have been a season pass holder for a few years now. Last september I ordered passes for the 2023 year not realizing they would expire 9/4/23, typically they expire 12/31 of each year. I love going to fright fest and was excited to use my pass to its fullest in September and October. Once i realized my error I contacted them to see how they could help me. Please note, I have not even used my passes as of now but planned to it september and October due to a very busy summer. Customer service pretty much told me to f myself because it says they expire on 9/4. I explained that I completely made a mistake and asked to have the passes refunded and the correct passes purchased. Again they said no. In the end they said there was nothing they could do. I realize this was my mistake but for such a large company to do NOTHING to support their customers is not right! The passes have still not been used yet AND I'd be paying more to get the correct passes. Shame on you six flags! I will no longer purchase passes or attend their park!
Do not go to 6 flags in lanham maryland. We went there today, September 30th. And the place is swarmed with bees. And my grandson is highly allergic life-or-death situation here. And we had to leave. We only stayed there an hour and they would not reimburse Me my money saying that it is an act of God with the bees. No, it is not because an act of God is something you can't control and this You can control either by spraying from the air. Or possibly closing this park down. You have to let the people know up front That there is a bad situation with the bees. Just like Sandy point posts when there are jellyfish. That's what they need to do. Because if I would have been notified in advance, I would not have gone there. They have to put it on their website. Because the workers were saying they've had a terrible case with the bees this year. I can tell you right now, if my grandson was stung and died. They would have had no problem breaking their policy to write me a $155 check. I have been going there for over 30 years with my son. And now my grandson and I will never Ever return there again the way I was treated. I will be contacting corporate over this matter.
The park we went to Six Flags over Georgia, it was not worth the price we paid that's for sure! It was in a run down town, half the rides were broken down. Just a disappointment

Go to a different amusement park!

Rode what rides did work
I purchased 5 ticked for October 16,2022 for the amusement park and Halloween attraction. I get to the park with my family and 50% of park rides are not working due to staff shortage. My son was not able to ride a majority of the rides he was looking for. I brought cash and they told me only credit card usage for food / shops etc. Went to atm Machine to transfer money to card and none was working had to go back to my car to get my atm card. I purchased 5 tickets for the Halloween attractions went to do the 4 Halloween attractions with my family and I'm told by attendant that each ticket is only for one attractions I had to purchase Halloween tickets to other attractions if I want see them, purchase one more Halloween $39.99 ticket online Mobile. Went to the next attractions and the attendant tell me one ticket is good for all 4 attractions I didn't need to purchase the $39.99 extra ticket I paid for. The bathrooms were disgusting and dirty, no paper towel and trash all over floor. The food was cold when I purchased it only decent thing I as the cotton candy
Went to six flags for the amazing fireworks show they advertise for an entire month. 10 minute show. Not even dark. Back yard quality at best! Wasted 4th!
Booooooo Six Flags!
Bring your own food. If not, you'll be paying so much for food and drinks when you already pay a lot to get in.
