This is 4x I've been ripped off by skip. They left our food at the wrong hotel door, we reordered, then the 1st order was found and skip said no refund, you got your effing $$$ twice, wtf would we order 2 exact meals, your a pathetic company and you have 1.1 rating. No wonder, your thieves and I hope you choke on a bone
The delivery driver stole our dinner, & Skip won't credit our account the $ so I can reorder our dinner. I confirmed with the restaurant the order was packed by the MANAGER correctly and sealed. Our bag was delivered OPENED & missing our dinners! We only received our wings. I love Fergus and Bix. Awesome place! I am disgusted by how we have been treated by Skip though. Next time i will call the restaurant directly and just pick up our food.
We spend more than we should weekly on Skip The Dishes, & we can't even get our order credited? THAY WAS STOLEN BT THEIR EMLLOYEE? This is the 4th time this has happened to us in 6 months. Go use Door Dash or someone else. ANYONE ELSE. Skip has lost their skills with customer service, 100%. SO DISAPPOINTED.

We have video footage of the driver, and his vehicle, AND the opened bag being dropped off by this person. I am not putting photos down right now because this is still being investigated, and I need to make sure I get my refund!

These idiots should be embarrassed at how pathetic their service is and now seeing how poor their reviews are, it makes sense. The last two orders were greater than 75% more time than the time quoted for delivery, and this is when I've actually tipped 20%. Reach out to customer service and these idiots chirp about offering points and the rest of the horse$#*!, and it never happens. If I could've stuffed half the food up the driver's $#*!, and the other half up the customer service rep's $#*!, I would've gladly done it and taken pictures to share. That's the problem with hiring a bunch of idiots. Hangry...I was ready to use a lacrosse stick to make my point. MOFOs Do yourself a favor and use one of the other services. I ordered at 7:35 pm and delivered at 9 pm... it's literally 2kms away. Got a notice the driver was there at 8:10 they had my food and it was on its way at 8:15. Then at 8:35pm a message was received that they need more time, meanwhile the dudes sitting at the restaurant the whole time. Garbage company.
I never received my order, I don't understand why they have contact less delivery, Covid is over long time ago, I don't know this driver Rinesh delivered my food to who's door step, now I've started to call the restaurants for delivery and it's way cheaper then skip the dish, I would recommend ordering directly from the restaurants, it gets delivered at the door and food are handed over to your hands instead just left on doorstep like skip the dish does
Twice in a row one of my beverages ordered did not show up with the delivery. Both times I requested a refund for the missing item. The first one was denied with no explanation as to why and the second one didn't even get a response. I'm thoroughly disgusted with them. I'll no longer be using them and I recommend others stop using them until skip shows that they have repaired their customer service flaws.
The worst customer service that I've ever seen. The customer is not valuable for this company. For avoiding to refund just 28 dollars the customer service started to discuss and continue that for an hour.
Ordered my food to my home address for some reason it changed the address and it was a 15-minute drive away. I contacted the driver and said it was a mistake and he agreed to wait for me. He then called me and said that I owe him a $10 tip or he was going to leave the order there. As I got to the location he marked it as delivered I walked around the whole apartment complex and no food was there he stole it. I contacted skip the dishes and they said too bad once it's delivered we're not responsible even though it says deliver to my address but then it was delivered to a different address I can't believe this company is in business if they allow their drivers to steal food and all you have to do is market as delivered
I find it kind of funny that two times I've use SkipTheDishes having a brand new credit card and the only number I ever used to wish to give it to SkipTheDishes to order food and fraudulent activity took place on my card. This was the second time skip the dishes is the only company that I had my card registered to you. It was a brand new card, I suspect I might not be the only one and all she checked her credit card statements. I tried to contact her office and I get a chat conversation which I requested to contact the company and they are not calling me back. I do not believe on the only one it just seems to be quite a coincidence. I do not believe their site is secured enough to hold your credit card information. Had ordered food today and the driver delivered to the wrong address at a neighbour behind our house. I walked over to collect the food. The home owner was very kind and said he informed driver it's the wrong address. Then he mentioned to me he's never used Skipthedishes or online delivery services... so how did they get his address, who knows!
So, we decided to chat to skipthedishes about the food we paid for. Their agent told us we entered wrong address. But we have an account and the address is picked up form the profile we create which in past has been working.
We also noticed our address was given as a separate line under the wrong address line in their delivery order so something is wrong with their system on how they add address.
Yet, the agent was rude and abrupt enough to insist their system is ok - when we can clearly see our address line below the wrong one in delivery note. He (Jay K) could not bother to confirm the right address and inform the driver to deliver and rectify the whole situation. Instead, he just decides to give a 50% refund and exit the chat!
So, we lose 50% of our money, we don't get the food, while facing an arrogant agent who refuses to listen or use his intelligence to understand that an already existing profile/account automatically picks up the address.
This company should be sued to oblivion! They are an absolute sham and should not be allowed to continue - disgraceful!
Don't ever order anything from skip the dishes, they charge you before you getting your order plus tip for the driver so they don't care if you got your order or not and driver don't give a sh…t cuz he already got his tip so no need to give a good service
Today we ordered food for all our employees & the driver simply left the food on the step! WTF? No notice at all! It was cold by the time a customer brought the food in!
I'm not even going to give you a star because you guys don't deserve it every time I order from you guys I either have to order twice because the driver screws off with my order or you guys pic it up and and drop it off somewhere else and there is no number to call two complain and all you guy just say so sorry for the inconvenience I don't think you guys understand how customer service works
Can not trust the couriers. I have proof of them stealing receipts from customers when they order from a restaurant with a points program. Skip refuses to take responsibility. So if you want to order from a business that allows theft, enjoy skip... I suggest calling the restaurants directly to see if they have delivery, if not, pick it up. Skip is terrible.
Also, with all the dietary restrictions these days, skip SUCKS for finding restaurants that are vegan, gluten free... etc.
Very unimpressed and frustrated with the Business Ethics (or lack thereof) of Skip in Edmonton. We used to use their services at our office multiple times weekly, and we have had "ok" service in the past (and, some drivers have been exemplary, so I don't blame them at all) but we have experienced missing items or completely missing orders. Usually the problems were rectified, but only after a long battle with trying to get someone to help or listen. Everything is automated, you cant speak to anyone - they want everything to go through their chat function, and all the answers are canned and not helpful at all. We recently had a liquor order - the driver arrived with an item missing and said that the store did not give it to him, and that I needed to deal with Skip for the loss. At first, I contacted Skip a few times through their app, to which I was told they cant locate the driver, so I should try back "later"... so helpful, right? I then called the store that the order was picked up from where I was told that they DID give all items to the driver AND they have video footage to prove it, and will give me a copy if I need it. After multiple (over 20) attempts to get help through their Chat line, there was no resolution. Most operators just left the chat without helping, and the ones who tried to help all said the same thing: "Store confirmed they gave the item to the driver, driver says he delivered all items - nothing we can do, have a nice day" Oh OK. He said he gave it to me, so he must be right?! There is no such thing as lying or stealing anymore? I am just wrong, case closed? Ridiculous... no option to escalate or investigate - this is straight up THEFT. Not only did I pay a premium for the product, I paid for the delivery AND tipped the driver, who obviously stole the product. What a scam. Skip will no longer get my business or our company's business again. Terrible customer service, terrible business practice. I feel bad for their employees too, as I am sure (even though they are protecting this one bad apple) that they don't treat them well either. Wanted to give 0 stars or negative stars, but the only option was one.
This is very bad service. This app customer service is execrable. They do not update the app so I made a whole order for my family that I can't receive. I call the restaurant only to find out they couldn't confirm my order since they had nothing left and the had notified skip app an hour prior that they were out of stock. It was late so most of the restaurants I knew were closed so I couldn't even order elsewhere. The agent was arrogant and rude and took so long to finally get back to me ( his name was Swaranjeet Sidhu) and the manager was the same, arrogant and unbothered. And to compensate me, they only gave me a refund and 5$ credit. I spend hundreds of dollars on this app every month and all they could do is 5$. Obviously I needed a refund, I didn't get any food! Worst app for customers! Better use Uber eat or door dash or something because this app is completely unreliable. They obviously don't value our time or service.

I ordered food from skip the dishes. It said that the order is delivered. I checked every where but found nothing. When contacted customer service. A girl named Farah, said please look at the front door it should be there and left the chat without listening to me. The customer service team is never in the mood to serve you or to listen. They have pre written answer that they send you and would not listen to anything you have to say. I have been a regular at skip but now I will be stopping. The customer service come there to earn free money. They do not wish to work at all.
Ordered over $20 tried to use $10 off coupon. No discount was applied and my food was never delivered. I tried to get help thru help chat to no avail. Went through 3 different customer service reps and none could help. Never again will I use this service.
