Having previous experience of receiving food without cutlery, I contacted the Skip the dishes support team while waiting for my food asking them to make sure I get the cutlery this time around;
The support associate asked me what the cutlery was and whether it was a "food item ";
When I explained what it was, the associate waived me off saying that me order has already been picked up and disconnected the chat!
As a result, I spent $40.00 and received my food and no cutlery to eat it with two times in a row!
I wonder, how someone can work for the food delivering company not knowing what the cutlery is!
Worst customer service ever
I've ordered multiple times from SKip the Dishes. Today was the last straw, I ordered Edo's Japan. I asked for extra napkins and tipped $10 on a $45 order To Insure Perfection (TIP). Part of the order was missing. The driver just blamed the restaurant even though the itemized receipt was stapled and it was clear items were missing. The driver promptly ran away. I don't like getting scammed out of my money and tips no one deserved.
We ordered twice the same night and the orders never arrived. No phone calls - nothing. The second driver insisted we didn't live where we said. He cut off the text message. We never did get our food. Feels like a scam. It really ruined what was supposed to be a special occasion
Have contacted skip the dishes several times about a credit from April that was promised to me, when there were items missing from my order. This is my first and last time using the app Despite a guarantee that I would receive a credit, 2 months later, it has yet to be issued. Online Customer support is difficult to deal with and "disappears" when you are trying to resolve an issue. I have sent several emails to customer service and they have ignored me each time.
Most of the time their drivers don't deliver food. When you call for help why food is not delivered associates ready to give a refund but they don't care why this happen again and again. I had more than a 6-time bad experience with them. But they never investigate just take your refund and done.
Please don't use this app will never trust this app again. I ordered food but It didn't delivered and then when I chat with the support they said they can't give me refund or credit because I received it before but the truth is it's for very first time I ordered and same thing my friend experienced as well. Like you paid for it they have no respect for your money. Please don't order from here. Unprofessional behaviour of support as well

I've been a loyal customer for over 7 months now and their delivery service is always a gamble. The delivery instructions are rarely followed and the delivery people are often rude. In terms of their support, they do answer you quickly but then go silent for 10-15 minutes at times without any updates. I work in support, I know the expectations and this just isn't it.
Place will steal your capital and mess your party plans, messed with my wedding and my only revival is to destroy a partial part of their business, they stole 70 dollars of my capital and they will yours as well, never give this app or the people that run this corp line Yolanda get a link for a class action suit soon thanks!
I never received my order even though the site said it was delivered. I reached out to state this and their reply is I am a complainer and they will not refund my money. Seriously, I am a complainer because your service is bad. I will ensure that I put a hold on payment as Skip is not taking responsibility. Last time I order from them.
So many times I have not received my deliveries! And then I had to wait for food to come again! This time I have guests coming and it did not show up even though stating it was delivered! Had to re-order! Next time I will just call the actual restaurant and have delivery made from them! Skip the dishes!… be careful who you hire! If they don't know the area or locations they should not be delivering!
This app is absolute dog $#*!, dont even bother. Anytime I try to order, it's always one or one and a half hour late. Every. Single. Time. I. $#*!ing. Ordered. Dont bother please you are wasting your time and precious money on something that does not even work.
We ordered drinks from a place down town, waited for our drinks, no show the guys even called to get the address, never showed up, support would not help us needless to say I'm pissed of this company is a $#*!ing joke, show your business up your $#*!
When I needed to contact SkipTheDishes, their chat folks are not supportive. They take so long to respond. They didn't even provide me with the voucher that they said they would when I signed up for their account and app for the first time long time back. Sometimes the restaurant takes over 13 minutes to confirm the order. After I was not treated well this afternoon, I ordered my food directly from the restaurant over the phone. I am not going to recommend or use their service from SkipTheDishes any longer.
They never deliver, and then their app shows delivered. On top of it, if you contact them, they give a 50% refund excluding delivery charges, tips, tax etc. They are merely extorting money from consumers. They don't have a responsible delivery team and have zero responsibility and transparency in the process.
I ordered food from Skip the Dishes and when the food arrived it was cold. I sent in feedback/complaint to their "support" email and the answer i recieved was because my order arrived on time, they won't issue a refund. Their statement in their auto reply is "Our #1 objective is to ensure customers have an incredible experience" and "We are committed to making things right" is condescending. As long as your order is delivered on time they won't help, even when your food arrives cold. So much for their commitment.
I live in the US, Kentucky to be exact and never heard of this company until I received notice that they had a pending claim on my card, while trying to fix this another charge made. For 3 days I have been trying to stop them from getting my money to no avail., so now I am going through it with cashapp who told me to deactivate the card but still paid them. I am in the process of trying to get my money back and they are still trying to get more money from me but can't since card was deactivate. This company is a scam
Same thing as everyone else is saying. It doesn't rate to even get a "worse" star - robbery and illegal as far as I am concerned. I feel that if everyone stays away from them, hopefully they will go out of business. A good friend of mine works for one of the restaurants and they are cutting them off as it looks bad of their part as well...
I have been a customer of Skip for about a year and in the last two months they have not only screwed up my orders but refused to refund me for items that I didn't even receive! I have emailed them several times and never gotten a reply. These people do not care about their quality of service or customer care. They only want your money and too bad for you if you didn't get what you ordered or if your food was cold, spilled everywhere or didn't even show up at your residence! NEVER ORDERING from them again. Especially after they repeated end chat with you when you are trying to get your refund back! Poor Service and ignorant customer service reps!

I've given this service many chances. We can't make it to restaurants because we have young children. But now I've had enough. Very disappointing experiences. My orders are wrong almost every time I receive them. Customer service has now accused me of being dishonest about it when I report it. It was apparently my fault when the driver didn't knock on the door and sent a text message that the food was here, that I didn't receive and left without dropping off the food. But it's my fault because apparently knocking on the door is a special request and I didn't request it. They can also be super late like over and hour. Try another service.
