I ordered about $30 worth of food and never recieved the order? Then i got an email tonreview my experience with skip the idiots? Can u believe it? Never got a refund from the $#*!es either.
Asked for contactless delivery and the driver called wanting me to come out. When I said No they labeled delivered and took off. I contacted help chat and they were just as rude as driver

Because of stay at home policy that is in effect I ordered a contactless food delivery. The entire order left was not even close to the large family sized meal I purchased. I immediately (less then three minutes) after the driver left it on the doorstep) contacted support and was told they would credit my skip account. I asked if the driver was coming back and was told no she has other orders to make and was basically too busy. So someone else was obviously going to get the wrong order of my food as well. I was told I had to reorder using my skip credits. Ummm no. Now they are forcing me to order with their service again? I said I'd prefer a direct refund to my credit card. Oh sure. Takes three to five business days. Really? Customer support talked like they were reciting a script. Only my second order using their service. They won't get another chance with me The delivery person was barely down the street by the time I reached out to support. Easy enough to turn around and correct it. Instead they thought it was better to have two incorrect orders going out than fix that. Terrible service. Their offer of skip credits is nothing to them. I'd have to reorder The same thing anyways. Never again.
I have used this service a number of times for food. Stupid me. Used it for liquor delivery. I had just renewed my license so no photo id BUT I am 64! The delivery driver said no photo id no delivery. I was on phone with local liquor store when he showed up returning the bottle. Tried 3 difference Help Chats. Same thing everytime. Looking into it. 5 minutes later we can't get a hold of anyone at store to confirm it was returned. Really. Its owned by a family and someone there all the time. So i didn't get my money back. Deleted the app.
Skip the Dishes have either stolen money from my account or they have serious security issues. Either way they won't deal with it and just say "contact your bank." I see online now that it has happened to other people. I haven't used them in over a year because the service is NOT good. A different person every time. They never know how to find the house although the instructions are clear. Late and cold food.
An incredibly disappointing experience that I have decided to share with as many people I know or have the opportunity to speak with. While the overall technical infrastructure appears sound, it is how Skip the Dishes treats it customers.
The other evening my wife and I ordered two hamburgers, an order of fries and two milkshakes through Skip the Dishes.
When our order was delivered the milkshakes were missing, now we accept the fact that errors can and will be made so when I contacted Skip the Dishes I assumed that they would have the delivery driver return to the restaurant to retrieve the milkshakes and deliver them. Make sense? Yes. Is that what occurred? No. I was informed that I would have to settle for what was delivered and I would be refunded for the milkshakes. I suppose I was to be appreciative of getting what they (Skip the Dishes) deemed was good enough. I was not appreciative and in fact, was very angry. Angry to the point that I suggested they could return to my home retrieve the remainder of the order and then refund me for everything.
The young lady on the customer care line said that she could not do that. This incident was sufficiently upsetting that neither of us was interesting in eating and the remainder of the order was disposed of in the trash.
I will be reaching out to the restaurant involved to advise them that I (and anyone else I can convince) will not be frequenting their establishment as long as they remain associated with Skip the Dishes.
Suggestion for a name change would be "SKIP some of the DISHES in your Order" and "we don't care".
Bad service and horrible treatment of employees! DO NOT... Ordered from skip the dish. Place my order on sunday, the restaurant called said they did not have what I wanted, they wanted to substitute my order for something els, i do not eat pork or beef. So I canceled my order within a few minutes, SKIP THE DISH took my $56.00 and will not REFUND my money. I was trying to SUPPORT our local business. Well SKIP THE DISH CAN GO "FUK OFF". You will never get another order from me. SHAME ON YOU ALL, YOU ARE ALL BUNCH OF IDIOTS... I have told everyone I have worked with, and guess what? I work with the public NURSING. So I'm tell everyone not to PLACE any order with skip the dish. This matter should have been resolved, but you refused to speak to me...
Bought some GCs for work colleagues, only to find out that the emails they send out don't work i. E. can't click through. After spending 40min with customer service, they told me to call back after their tech support takes a look as its a "known issue". Guess my money is gone.
Guess what I had 20 other gift cards to send out, guess they won't be going to Skip.
After waiting an hour, my order got cancelled and never reimburse. Customer Service never answered me. Really bad experience.
I'm paying so much for delivery and leaving a good tip only to have bad customer service. I asked customer support a question and all they said was "your order was delivered, is there anything I can assist you with?" It's a total round-about passive way to not help customers. Terrible.
I applied at the end of March 2020 for extra cash on the side for my family. A portion of the application process is that you must purchase bags and pay for a back ground/criminal check. I paid this and have been sending emails daily to find out when I can start and when I will receive my bags.(The application process on line states 2-3 business days) To date I have sent over 20 emails and called several times and got no where. I have also called several times and waited on hold for hours to be told they can't help me. When I called this morning I waited on hold for a half hour and when I explained my problem the woman hung up on me! Skip the Dishes took my money and ran with it! I would not recommend applying or working for them. I will be contacting my bank to alert them of the Skip the Dishes scam.
I had a recent fraud issue with skip the dishes. Someone hacked my account and used my account to order food in a different province than me. Skip the dishes doesn't believe that it was fraud and that I'm lying. They won't help at all. Even my bank won't do anything. Don't leave your credit card on your account.
I have just spent a half an hour on chat regarding my missing order. I use a walker and so cannot readily come to the door so my instructions are for the driver to come to the back door, knock and step inside. This is never an issue for any deliveries I get including several from Skip the Dishes in the past. Tonight the driver ignored those instructions and dumped my order outside the back door which makes it impossible for me to reach it. He/she did not knock, did not ring the doorbell, and did not phone me. Skip doesn't dispute that the instructions are there on the order however they tell me if I can't go out and check to see if its there then there is nothing they can or will do about it. Yes they know I can't do that and that my helper is not here right now. They will NOT instruct their driver to come back and will not refund my money. I'm really having trouble believing that this actually happened and that they actually don't care about the one thing they are paid to do. They do nothing else. They have one job and that is deliveries and they can't manage that and don't seem to care either. Wow, It kind of leaves you with your mouth hanging open in shock. Be careful in dealing with these people as they will not resolve any issues that come up. I had no idea that it was just luck that protected my orders in the past.

I cancelled an order and they still took the money from my credit card. 5 to 10 business days to have that refunded to my card is unacceptable to me. I have been using them for years but I will never use them again. Time to try their competition.

Terrible experience. The driver never showed up at my door, when I contacted them I was told the food was already delivered to the address. When I said it wasn't I was treated like a liar. I was told the driver confirmed he delivered the food and there's nothing else that can be done. And that's how I lost $28.26 ordering from skipthegoddamndishes. And that's not the first time I had a problem with them. But it is the last. Never ordering from them again.
My order said it was delivered and it was not.(second time this has happened in the last 2 weeks) I contacted support and they basically sided with driver told me they wont refund me. So basically their driver screwed up but im the one who has to pay for it? How does that make any sense? I'm now out 59 dollars and I don't have the food I ordered. They just robbed me. I will never use this service again. They have horrible customer service, horrible delivery drivers, and they are down right thieves. They need to be held accountable for all the people they ripped off as I'm now seeing I'm not the only one. Company is a joke.
This place is the absolute worst, they sent pork to a religious home which is highly disrespectful and on top of that we've been on hold for 33 minutes and counting! This is absolutely disturbing and this franchise should be shut down completely!
I was literally robbed by this company. I just installed this app yesterday. I made the first order with some delivery instructions; all good with that driver. Then today I made another order with the same delivery instructions. This driver never delivered my food. I contacted their customer service and they told me it was my fault because I was not home and the driver couldn't reach me. I WAS HOME ALL THE TIME. Then, I thought "OK, I just go to the restaurant and pick my order". I went to the restaurant 2 hours later and they told me that the driver never returned my order. Skip The dishes is refusing to refund my money.
Never use this app, use Uber Eats, they have very good customer service.
