In literally 2 minutes, had a $19.99 replacement for my $120/mo cable. I don't like TV anymore, but Sling satisfies my wife's habit while she continues to quit too. Looked into 'long-range' digital antennas, but they're better suited for flatland folks.

I spent a lot of time on their site. I signed up to get locals as I am rural and antenna doesn't work well. After enrolling in service I find that I am required to buy an antenna to get local service. I had to go through a bunch of red tape to talk to a representative who informed me that I would have to get an airtv antenna for the local service. When I said I just signed up less than an hour ago and would like to cancel as I was basing my decision on local channels. I was told I would have to pay for the whole month regardless. I will be informing everyone of this so that others are not ripped off by a disreputable company.

Deleted it two years ago because of the app never working correctly. Tried to give sling another chance. Only to be put in a circle of pages saying "you already have an expired account. Restart to pick a subscription" and "create new account page". Literally takes you to register a new account. Obviously already in use lol never seen such a poorly made app. Anyone using this is being robbed of their money and time.

Once again, sling TV app not working on my Samsung smart TV. I don't even get circling anymore, just a black screen. It's happening more and more. My other TV, much older, and the Sling app works great with Comcast flex box. The service is really pretty stinky. Definitely not worth 40 bucks a month. Looks like I'll be switching again. Fabulous

Ordered Sling on 9/15. Paid for overnight delivery of the Roku device. 9/19 and still waiting for delivery. Support line hangs up every time. Could only reach them on new order line and they told me that overnight really means 2 or more days, even though that was a lower cost shipping option. Only conclusion is that they stole my money for overnight to pay for longer shipping. Criminal! Crooks!

We had gotten it to watch the super bowl. Only problem is that you could only watch it the next day after it aired... Then, Good luck on getting a hold of customer service to o cancel your subscription! I was on hold to
2 separate times with no answer. So now I'm paying for another month of something we don't use

Don't do it. If you do you won't be able to cancel your subscription

Terrible technical support and quality…I tried to sing up and watch a football game…I could never get my devices to connect…. After 45 minutes I cancelled and they billed me for the month…. Tried to contact to dispute and get no help…. They just said sorry you prepaid and it will expire in 30 days…. My bank stopped the card payment…I would not ever use or recommend Sling…

My grandson and I decided to watch Willy Wonka on Sling. Everything was fine until the first advertising intermission. Sling showed DVD after DVD of adult titles. "Magic Mike", "Girls Trip", "Zoolander", etc.
Maybe Sling should look into matching their advertising with the content of the shows being watched!

Sling owned by failing DISH is not worth the money. Not even at half off for the month trial. Bought a month to watch NBA playoffs and nothing but trouble, stalls, drops, "not authorized" errors. What a joke this service is

I've been a customer of Sling for years now but will be ending my membership. The reason? For starters they've blocked out the actual channels I'm paying for on their Home Page (which has always been there until a few days ago) and replaced with sports (I'm not interested), their suggestions, things they want to sell us, etc. etc. And now, what I'm actually paying for has been relegated to the "left hand side" text only line-up. Not working for me... After calling their "customer support" I was basically told that "that's the way it is... and it's been that way for a year (not true)). I suppose it's for the best, I'll save the money fee and say goodbye now.

Sling TV service is so/so at best and their customer support is completely worthless. They bill everything in advance and totally unwilling to work with customers on any issues - service or billing. They are a complete racket and should be shut down! Avoid this service at all cost.

I am a Brit on vacation in the US trying to watch F1. Sling TV was recommended as the best way to do this. I created an account, signed up to "Orange" and loaded the app.
However, all the app does is try to connect to my Sling Box which I don't have. The blurb says just use the app to connect on line and you're good to go!
In the first place, the app is not compatible with Safari 15, so I used Chrome and that doesn't work either.
So after paying for a month's subscription ($17.50) I cannot access Sling TV!
It's a ripoff!
Do not even attempt to use it. Run away, screaming!

Had sling for many years off and on...went to watch it and it says someone from overseas tried to sign in.then code 10- 1,code 403.etc...called and no one can help asked for $ prorated nope...they are scams and thieves...

Do not subscribe to Sling TV if you care your money. They will add an unavoidable commercial which will force you to miss your favorite show. YouTube is much better and more loyal; if you are paying you don't have to see the commercials. Customer care do not resolve the issue but rather disconnect the call. Never seen such unprofessional attitude from any other company.

Like the rest of the reviews, stay away. Had an issue with the account setup, tried to appeal to common sense and customer support but they were not interested in anything but charging my credit card.

$109 later, no cancellation for service that freezes and buffers all the time. The free trail doesn't count if you use the premium channels during the first 7 days. Customer service rude and would not let me speak to a supervisor. Not a company worthy of your time or money.

I found that I was being charged a $19.99 recurrent fee for Sling TV yet I did not sign up for these services with any of my e-mail accounts. I called customer service and was told that they will not tell me what e-mail address was used to initiate my service. I provided them with all of the e-mail addresses I have, and was told none of these was used. Thus, I am unable to follow-up with this e-mail provider and will have to vigilantly check my monthly statements to make sure Sling TV does not bill me for another false account. I was offered a refund of the most recent month, but not for the past months in which I did not notice this recurrent charge. This is very disappointing and poor customer service, and there are possibly fraudulent billing practices occurring.

I cancelled Showtime a few days after I subscribed to it. I checked my bank statement in May and saw that I continued to be charged. They will not refund or issue credit for my over payment. Customer service hides behind policy. Numan was the last customer service supervisor that I spoke with.

I missed the cancelation deadline by 2 days and sling automatically renews your subscription, So, basically I have to pay for another month. I have not watched it for months and yet they would not give me a refund for my subscription or a credit for the next time I signed up. No phone customer service. Just chat in the Philippines and they have no authority to do any refunds. Not a very friendly customer friendly company. Beware if you sign up. No flexibility on their policies.

Sling has a decent selection of channels, but if anything goes wrong with the login or a TV error shows on the screen it is difficult to find a solution to the problem. The "chat" feature is absolutely useless, there is no feedback capability whatsoever. This is the second time I have tried Sling and it will probably be my last.

Very dissatisfied never used their services and cancelled it but charged me and the customer care is terrible that they are not willing to refund. I feel they run their business by not refunding to customers who don't use their forever buffering service

I purchased the yearly Sling Willow instead of Willow TV directly. I was extremely unsatisfied with the content I was getting. The interface is horrible to navigate plus there was no content like sports highlight that I was were looking for. For the same price, I would have gotten better navigation and highlights packages to directly with Willow TV. The software is totally buggy - the title says one thing but the stream is something completely different. Now when I see all these issues, I want to stop the service and get my money back. However, Sling believes in just taking money and completely disregarding customer experience. They basically cheated me of my money and are now not ready to refund the money they took even though their service is horrible.

What a joke of a business. This is like a scam! Wish I could give negative 5 stars.

I know for a fact it is not the WiFi connection because we have tried sling with Frontier/Verizon internet, spectrum interNet, and AT&T internet and have experienced the same thing. Sling love to crash and freeze in the middle of the show. Why am I paying close to $100 for this true of service. Just go back to cable guys this $#*! is stupid and a waste of time/money. Sling pisses me off every time I turn it on. Go to hell sling and stay there.

Very inflexible, the lineup of channels is OK but overpriced taking in consideration the buffering. It says free trial but somehow got charged anyways. Sling TV is as bad or worse as cable. No thanks.

Milan I read your review. The same thing just happened to me! They said they could not refund! BS that does not seem legal. I already called my bank to have the charge reversed. We will see what happens.

I realize that since I am streaming free my experience may not be as good as a paying customer...but I am still a customer. And still considering whether it is worth the monthly payment or not. I do appreciate the no ads...but the sometimes 2-3 minutes of extremely annoying music between episodes seems entirely unnecessary.

Embarrassed to admit I've had sling two years. I got it for ESPN and History channel. Today, ESPN repeats all episodes, history channel blows, and sling relies on Wipeout to hook me (seriously, John sena?) The rest of the channels are absolutely horrible and they put all 35 NBA channels on there to entice me. I hate pro basketball and the whiny athletes of today. I got sucked in at a cheap rate and like anything else, I got what I paid for. I refuse to pay xfinity their ridiculous price but hope to replace sling VERY soon. It sucks.
