Once again, sling TV app not working on my Samsung smart TV. I don't even get circling anymore, just a black screen. It's happening more and more. My other TV, much older, and the Sling app works great with Comcast flex box. The service is really pretty stinky. Definitely not worth 40 bucks a month. Looks like I'll be switching again. Fabulous
I signed up for the special deal, buy two months get the third for free. They have billed me three straight months even after chatting with support and being promised I would not be billed for the third month. Got a hold of support again and they said my fourth month would be free. I told them to reverse the charge because I was going to cancel before the third month ended because the service is not worth $40 per month. Now I have to wait for their accounting department to get involved. My next step will be just to refute the charge on my credit card, that would have been much easier to begin with.
Sling TV charged me $33 in 2023 when I accidentally reactivated my service with them. Even though I canceled the service as soon as I received the notice, they refused to refund me the money, not even partially. They (Sling TV customer service agent and manager) used legal terms to threaten me that it was my mistake. So they charged me $33 for less than one hour of service.

Sling is not bad for simple channels but not with good channels. I have tried sling tv orange/,blue package.it said I got the channels listed and I didn't get all of them that they said I did within my package, the lo al channels depends on area and availability I was located in the availability area and still couldn't get the local channels I wanted. I called customer service I got run around and I know the don't give refunds the could have offered me a couple months free service for inconvenience. I asked how come I didn't get all the channels that it said I'd get in the package including the locals. They put the blane on me said I must not have not had availability in my area. I checked it said I was in the availability area. Pros and cons to sling. But for the price u pay u can get the same channels free on tubi, freevee or pluto tv. I got more local channels with tv antenna
Terrible customer service, limited high resolution streaming options. No superbowl even if you have to sports package. They made it virtually impossible to buy pay or stream the big game. So with that being said folks. This streaming app doesnt have america in its best interest or the big show would be on there packages.
I missed the cancelation deadline by 2 days and sling automatically renews your subscription, So, basically I have to pay for another month. I have not watched it for months and yet they would not give me a refund for my subscription or a credit for the next time I signed up. No phone customer service. Just chat in the Philippines and they have no authority to do any refunds. Not a very friendly customer friendly company. Beware if you sign up. No flexibility on their policies.
Today 1/28/23 I moved from my office to living room and turned on my tv back to Sling. I was prompted to register again and call a 1 800 number a customer service representative answered and told me I needed to pay a new registration fee, the representative was not empathetic to my time or frustration interrupting my day. After almost a decade as a loyal Sling customer I immediately decided to cancel and sign up with a competitor the decision was made for 2 reasons I don't like the new registration fee as a long time customer for the same services I am already paying for and the lack of empathy the representative demonstrated. I am going to leverage my social media following and share with all this new practice and hope others will follow. The same service is offered by others with as good or better offerings. I am only one customer consider me a Snowflake but we all know what Snowflakes can do when we stick together.
Sling TV is horrible! The app itself is horrible and you lose where you're streaming on it. I stream through ChromeCast and it doesn't work. If it doesn't work they don't give you your money back. I do not recommend using Sling at all. I have signed up for one month and I will never ever go back to this program! Look at Hulu TV!
Don't do it. Worst and most misleading service ever. Sling advertisements said said you can watch the NFL. Logged on for a minute - no NFL. Called and customer rep said need orange, blue service (and had to pay extra for red zone). Added additional package(s).
Then was told can only watch NFL on ONE SCREEN (even though website shows a graphic of and note saying you get three screens. So son can't watch NFL downstairs with friends if I want to watch upstairs (Fubo allows you to have up to 12 screens). Then representative tells me I only get one Sunday game - need ANOTHER service for second game (Fubo and Hullu love has all games except Thursday night).
I said please cancel and provide refund immediately - moments after signing up. They said no, you already logged on (once for about three minutes). No refund for you!
Anyway, disputing charge but they are insisting to credit card company that I must pay for full month. Shady and misleading advertising at best, fraudulent at worst and horrible treatment of its customers.
Starting to regret "cord cutting". Companies like this are going to be the death of streaming services. It's already ridiculous you need Prime for Thursday game, sling for one Sunday and another service for 2nd game).

I tried Sling for a whole 2days over a month ago and decided to cancel the service since it was no better than streaming or watching regular tv. Well, Sling thirsty behind had the audacity to reactivate the account (01/15/23) and STEAL $86 from my credit card used when I activated the service. Calling my bank to dispute the theft.
EVERYONE WILL KNOW YOU STOLE FROM ME SLING, I will post on every site until I get my money back.
YouTube TV is Way better than Sling. Very easy to bypass commercials with YT in 15 second intervals.
Sling jacks up the volume on your TV during EVERY commercial...very annoying. No local channels with Sling, you get your local channels with YouTube TV. I've used both these services and I HATE Sling and recently cancelled my subscription. Spend the extra $10/month for YouTube TV, it's well worth it
I've been a customer of Sling for years now but will be ending my membership. The reason? For starters they've blocked out the actual channels I'm paying for on their Home Page (which has always been there until a few days ago) and replaced with sports (I'm not interested), their suggestions, things they want to sell us, etc. etc. And now, what I'm actually paying for has been relegated to the "left hand side" text only line-up. Not working for me... After calling their "customer support" I was basically told that "that's the way it is... and it's been that way for a year (not true)). I suppose it's for the best, I'll save the money fee and say goodbye now.
After being a paying customer for almost two years, I have come to the end of the road with SlingTV.
The website "review" function often triggers error messages, which is frustrating. After several attempts to make changes (reductions) I finally got a customer support person who informed me that even though my payment was not yet processed, nothing could be done to resolve my being overcharged by forty-five dollars. Being retired this presents an unacceptable situation and it was made clear to me that I would have to take it and no reduction, change or refund was possible.
I don't appreciate the fake concern expressed by the SlingTV rep and worse their don't give a crap attitude.

I activated the subscription to watch FIFA 2022 and cancelled the next day when I realized not all matches are available live in my area. They charged me for the whole month.
In a word: unreliable. Once I found out YouTube TV cost less, I was out. The last straw was being asked for an extra 7.99 per month f or Paramount channel. Wth? I paid extra for a sports package that often did not deliver. I'd be watching a game and the screen would go dark. Not an isolated issue. Service reps would either not answer the phone or hang up right after they answered the phone OR they would be as rude and unhelpful as possible. Thank you Josue! For being the biggest jerk I have ever spoken to on the phone. I will not miss this "service".
I took the bait only to find out that I was lied too. Read the small print. In order to get local tv you need to buy a hd antenna that they will gladly sell you. What a scam. A streaming service that wants you to install an Antenna. No money back ever. Even if you used it for only one day.
So all my devices are showing 9-400 after I sent my payment in. This is now day 2 of the error. All I get is this was turned over to engineers. Won't refund for my two days. I canceled and they won't refund for the month. I contacted Google pay in hopes to get refund. Will not tell me how long it will take to get error fixed. I have Uninstalled and reinstalled applications. I also changed my password.
Sling will always cut you off before seeing the final moments of a sporting event, I don;t know how they know when it is going to happen, but every time there is a pivitol moment in a sporting event. Thier service seems to experience a disruption and you will nevedr know the outcome unless you google the results! Sucks, I would not recomend this platform,avoid at all costs.
I have had sling for months and DVR never worked. I Have contacted customer support a number of times and no help. They say there sending to Tech Support but I found Tech support never notifies you when it is corrected or that there working on it. And to date the DVR still don't work. Both on teh TV and Computer.

The FCC just says We received your complaint and you should be hearing from SLING. What a joke! I am out $50.00, because SLING told me they were only taking major credit cards or the SLING cards. I purchased 2 $25.00 SLING cards to pay my $40.00 bill. The cards only come in $25.00 amounts. It would not take them. I called and called and got different CS agents. The cards would not go through. I got all kinds of reasons the cards were not working. I finally dropped SLING and went back to Spectrum. Something I vowed to never do. The day I called SLING to tell them I no longer wanted their service, and to tell them why I was unhappy the CS agent told me that the cards only work on the bill due date. Blah blah blah. I dontt know what happened with SLING. The service was great for a long time. Then they went to those stupid cards that would not work.
