I am a very long term customer and the new Snapfish has gone down hill. They no longer have the same custom covers for hardcover book options - and not a basic Christmas red color...
The page options are not good as before.
You can not enlarge a picture before you place it in your book
No spell check
Embellishments are not as good as the old site.
They should never have closed the classic site before they had corrected problems
Very disappointed
Imagine my irritation today after completing an order, then finding a $.99 surcharge for "holiday delivery" included in my cost. I've been purchasing Snapfish photo calendars for 10+ years but this is the first time I've seen "holiday delivery" surcharge. If your costs have increased, raise prices for your products BUT stop the surcharge nonsense.
Ordered photos from Snapfish for gift. Wish I read the reviews first. What an embarrassment for quality. They were blurry and cropped. The customer service representative blamed me for low quality photos (they were professional and came out beautiful through Shutterfly. When they gave a credit but wouldn't cover shipping I was disappointed and told the representative that. She ended the chat.

I have been having a terrible time contacting SNAPFISH. Their live chat doesn't work, the phone numbers don't work and there is no e-mail address. I received a photo canvass order that has a deep crease across the top of our faces and the canvas was not stretched properly. I am so disappointed. I have ordered may photos and books from them in the past that have been very nice. But I am so upset I can't even talk to them about the problem with this order. I probably won't use them again.
Purchased some Christmas Cards on Snapfish. I ordered black cards and they came a weak purple color. I ordered rounded corners and they came square. The pictures were so fuzzy you couldn't even tell who the people are. Just a terrible card.
There is no phone number to talk to anyone. I used their chat system and had to wait forever for a live person. They issued me a credit but when I went to use the credit and re-ordered they said I owed another $75 for a cheaper card. It was a joke.
I don't have any more time to put into this problem so I will try to dispute it on my credit card. I will reorder from another vendor and hopefully have a good experience. What happened to Costco?
Pics showed what I ordered and what I received.
Product: Photo Tiles. I created a project using high rez images (9MB +) taken by a professional photographer with an SLR camera. The images are blurry with horizontal streaks. Pretty evident this was printed on a low quality digital press. The 'photo tiles' are prints that are glued to a piece of foam. Okay for a college dorm, but looks cheap in my opinion.
I contacted customer service on chat, had to upload pictures of the prints and then spent 45 minutes haggling with the customer service rep to issue me a refund. They must be trained to push customers to accept a 'credit' which only allows you to use the refund on the exact product you did before and even breaks out shipping separately. This is clearly designed to reduce returns by making it difficult for customers to use their refunds.
To be clear, the customer service rep DID issue me a refund in the end, but not without multiple attempts to direct me to accepting a credit for one very specific product.
Good luck.
Chatted with Snapfish to see why their promo code for an 11.99 photo book was not working. Was told the promo expired more than two hours prior and representative refused to honor despite the promo still being offered on the webpage. Sucks customers in to spend hours making projects and then uses shady tactics and straight up dishonesty to try to clinch a hire sale. Will avoid in the future.
This is the first time I had to talk to customer service for a terrible product. I ordered a christmas ornament using high resolution photo from a professional photo shoot. The ornament came to be super fuzzy you couldn't even make out my daughter's nose that's how bad it was. Fast forward to customer service, they were only willing to refund me my shipping and give me credit for the ornament. For what? I don't want your crappy products after this. I kept saying no until they refunded me just for the ornament and not the shipping. Complete rip off! Stay away!
Never again! For years I have ordered photobooks through Snapfish. Over several months I created three new photo albums for my son as a special gift. I spent over thirty hours choosing photos, uploading them, rearranging them onto the page, resizing and cropping them and finally placed my order. I literally poured my heart into these albums! A week after I placed my order, Snapfish voided it. They said that one of my photos was corrupted by their system, and in order to have my books processed, I would need to re-upload and replace every single photo in each of the three books. Being as there are approximately 1500 photos between the three projects, I'm looking at 15-20 hours of additional work at least. Maybe 30. Goodbye forever, Snapfish. I expected a whole lot more from you!
Three times my husband and I have tried to order prints on the new version of Snapfish and three times we were unsuccessful and wasted an enormous amount of time. Live chat was horrible as the assistants could not answer my questions or lend any significant help. I even telephoned to get a real person to take me through the steps and still I was not able to order the prints. They blamed my browser but when we changed to Google chrome the problem was not resolved. I just want to order from a few albums and then be done with Snapfish. I would never recommend them nor would I ever use them again.
Horrible experience. JJF
Do NOT go through Snapfish for order pickup through walmart. Walmart was out of the envelopes (that i paid for but was never disclosed as not being available on snapfish). Snapfish would not take ownership since i picked up at walmart and walmart will not take ownership because i ordered through snapfish. It's not worth the headache. My advice is just order directly from where you are picking up, its probably cheaper anyways. I definitely think snapfish should have stepped up in this scenario since that is who i ordered through
I ordered 4 photos for not even $5, I paid about $3 the most & I received a tracking number, it said I would receive my photos on the 2nd but I received them 5 days earlier. Now the quality isn't so great but I can't really complain. As a photographer, I see it as you get what you pay for. Not sure If I want to spend more money though due to all of the bad reviews. Luckily I only tried 4 photos to test it out before buying 100+ photos for a photo album I'm creating.
Online my purchase is marked as delivered. I checked the tracking and it's gone to a completely different state! Customer service is pretty much non existent! Waiting and waiting in an online line. So very disappointed as this was to be a very special Xmas gift
This is the worst experience ever! Christmas cards are so emotional and they really don't care. All you get is an agent in India who professionally tries to pacify you. I really don't care about the cost at this point... I just want my cards and someone who can help me. I would discourage ANYONE from using this service if they care about commitment, promises, reliability and customer service.
New snapfish site is rubbish. They lost a number of my pictures completely (so not 'safe and secure') and the download facility (to backup and protect my pics from them), is only 'one pic at a time'.
Their response to losing my pictures was very poor.
Submitted a Christmas card order 12/6/15 and all I get is order in process. Tried to contact Snapfish but telephone lines do not work, tried to get a chat session going but twice waited over 25 minutes (502 requests in queue) only to get a message after wait that there weren't any representatives available and to e-mail Snapfish. I guess that all my friends and family won't be getting personalized Christmas cards this year. I am terribly disappointed and want a refund. They lost any further orders and recommendations.
New site is horrific! Half my photos are missing, from complete albums to albums partially full of blanks. Some albums are duplicated and they cannot be stored in chronological order. Photos can no longer be edited and the customer service beggars belief. It is mostly unintelligible with long delays in getting back to you and then they can only state the obvious...'if your photos are lost from our website our suggested fix is to re-upload'?
I shall not use any more...
Ordered greeting cards and was quite pleased w/the way they turned out.
Better quality than some of the other online sites.
The site is difficult and quirky to navigate, however.
They need to work on that.
Not too keen on having their logo plastered on the back of cards that have my photos on them. Another site I use doesn't do this.
My biggest problem w/Snapfish, however, is their customer service chat line.
I waited in a long line and watched the numbers go down and up. Finally as I neared the finish line... a message appeared and said that "chat" was offline. I couldn't believe my eyes.
This happened more than once and I finally gave up. I think that's their plan.
Good luck trying to find their phone number. They apparently don't want to talk to their customers. I did finally find it... *******500.
Like many others, I am very frustrated by the technical glitches on the new Snapfish website. Unwanted margins are being inserted in photobooks, stalling the completion of the photobooks I am working on. It will be in Snapfish's best interests to address the bugs you have, before there is a mass migration of your, previously happy, customers to other photobook services
Since 2003, I've been traveling to Great Britain, taking photos and uploading them to Snapfish to use for photos, calendars, etc. Today I went to do some calendars and the photos would not move to the project folder. After dealing with a frustrating hour of someone telling me, "well you're supposed to back them up" (and citing fine print) the net-net is all my memories -- all my photos -- are lost. They are not downloadable, recoverable or usable. I am devasted.
Answer: I hate snapfish after my Christmas card debacle so I can't help... I'm thinking SHUTTERFLY?
Snapfish has a rating of 1.2 stars from 489 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with Snapfish most frequently mention customer service, christmas cards and live chat. Snapfish ranks 134th among Photo Printing sites.
