If you apply for a loan online, Socure is one of the companies which is responsible for verifying your identity. It is the responsibility of Socure to confirm the information you provide matches the information available in various databases and your credit reports. There will always be discrepancies between credit reports due to typos, untimely updates to your information, poor information reporting. A competent ID verifier will take all information into account and make an evaluation accordingly. This is where Socure drops the ball. Unless your credit files are identical (and they never will be) Socure is incapable of simply calling you on the phone to confirm simple pieces of information. This is the result of intentional incompetence. Many companies today have chosen to allow their computers to run the company while the humans simply serve as "computer maintenance techs" subservient to the filthy machines they've created. When there is ANY issue with your ID verification process, Socure responds with 'Unfortunately there's nothing we can do...the computer has made it's decision and we have no authority to change it". PATHETIC. Many companies have become nothing more than extensions of their computers, which allows the humans to operate as lazy, useless, powerless "support" staff. If you know ahead of time that your loan company uses Socure to verify identity, I strongly suggest you find another loan provider.
