Wow, what an experience! Went in not knowing much about what to go with regarding installing a new stereo unit in my vehicle, and Adam Price was extremely informative and told me exactly what I needed! He set me up with everything, and explained how every component works. Very happy with this company and highly recommend them.
Bought a set of speakers. Tried to contact them as soon as I got them. One of them was no good. It was blown. Asked him to do a exchange. They declined and said they won't do anything. Will not do business with them again
Upon reaching out to sonic electronixs they have been extremely hard to deal with. My subwoofer box was delivered with nearly every corner having torn carpet on it. I took pictures, emailed with customer service and they offered me $25 "sonixbux". Gee thanks. I doubt I'll even use the $25 gift as they're customer service and quality control is so poor. I usually don't write these but after this experience I need it to be heard. Don yourself a favor and order from crutchfield! Learned my lesson.
Very disappointed with how Sonic Eclectronix handle their business, they charged my credit card right away without the product available to be shipped out. So I cancelled my order and they promised that my refund will be credited back to my credit card in 2-4 business days, but they didn't, so I called them again and promised me again, that it will be in my account in 3-5 business days. This company is greedy and take your money right away and they are good only in selling their products but service is bad especially when it comes to refunds.
Just ordered a new double din from Sonix and it came with a free backup cam. I needed help getting it added to my order. After a quick email with Joanna she gave me 4 different options of cameras. Super quick response time and in the evening was suprising. MY NEW STEREO IS ON IT'S WAY WITH A 170 DEGREE LIC PLATE,NIGHT VISION CAMERA. Can't wait to get it all hooked up!
I don't know how this company has high reviews, the bbb gives them a F rating and is well deserved. I did a phone order with their "tech support" who are not up to date they gave me wrong info. Sold me the wrong speakers, adapter plates, i have been calling for a week and half no one answers the phone, emails, put return request in no replays etc what a joke take the money and run. In the past, I ordered a stereo that came broken, the lady I spoke with was nice and said they would send me a new one and get me a refund for another item I purchased. Got the replacement but not the refund. More recently, I ordered to filters, both around $12 dollars each. I got a package with just 1. I sent the pictures they requested and of the one item they sent me. As of 5/22 it will be 2 months that I wont have the product I ordered. My emails are now getting ignored and at this point I will just consider my losses and never order from them again. I would recommend Crutchfield as they have never taken my money and ignored my e-mails, actually if I think about it, I never had to email Crutchfield's support on every order, I just get what I pay for and it works.

It shouldn't take over a month for support to get back to a customer. The customer also shouldn't have to pay for their shipping mistakes.

Customer service is beyond horrible. I canceled an order but yet they shipped it anyways. I waited two hours on the phone to talk to someone. After I returned the product they charged me a 25% restocking fee for a product I had canceled. Avoid this company at all cost.
Always go to Sonic Electronix. I am a bargain shopper but ultimately always find myself buying from Sonic. I've purchased from both their ebay store and retail site. Sometimes they have deals on ebay that are not on their site. Always a great experience.
I placed an order on SonicElectronix.com on 3/22. I then attempted to cancel on 3/23 since the item had not shipped yet. I was told at that time the item had been pulled and was preparing for shipment, so it could not be cancelled. That was fine, and I understood that. The order continued to state "processing" over the next few days though. I made several email contacts with Sonic Electronix to find out why it hadn't shipped, they had no explanation. I attempted several times (it was very difficult to reach someone over the phone) to reach a representative to discuss this issue with no success also. Finally, after over a dozen contacts through email and phone, I spoke to a representative on 3/29 who stated that the order had never been cancelled, and for some reason hadn't shipped. The item was cancelled at that time, and my refund showed up on 3/31. Very poor experience with this company, and I will not be doing business with them again.

Company refuses to send me an rma and refund (they tricked me and sent me an rma slip, then I find out another one was being shipped, this was after i told them I DO NOT WANT IT). They will ONLY send me a replacement, which I do not want, its obviously junk. This went on a 300w amp. Sonic, learn from crutch field on Cx support. Last purchase I make with you. Will be sticking to amazon and crutchfield. I spoke to supervisor on phone as well, telling her I was calling my credit card company and writing this review. She did not care. This is a company that does not care.

First time ordering from Sonic. I was a little hesitant at first but i couldn't pass up their black friday deal so i pulled the trigger. I got my order on time before christmas and i had no problem getting in contact with a rep to troubleshoot the install. Great first experience i would definitely buy from them again despite some of the negative reviews!
I bought three products from this company and one of the products was defective, they wrote to me and told me that they would not refund my money, a company as it is should not exist, they do not care about the customer, only the money

I love this company. Huge selection, most stuff has free shipping, and i get my products in less than 5 business days. On one occasion, i had to return some speakers (my fault i ordered the wrong ones) i called, was issued a number, i shipped it them back (at my expense) and as soon as it was processed, i was issued a full, in store credit refund. Very helpful and proffesional company, with great prices. Highly reccomend.
I ask for a radio for my 2001 Dodge Ram, ask for one that would mount and require no modifications. Got everything that I didn't want. Now I stuck with a radio that will only work if I cut away the inner dash, dash bezel. I only lost $145.00. So I hope I save someone that money. They will only do exchanges, no refunds. I went with sonicelectronix.com because they reported a faster ship date than Amazon. Recieved it on time but was wrong product. Called them immediately and was told I have to wait a couple days to be approved for return. Then wait for them to recieve wrong product before they will send correct product. Will not be ordering from them in the future.

I bought two sets of speakers from sonic. Great name brand and not a bad price. I went on the website and put my model car in. I went by there specs and purchased to sets of speakers. They didn't fit so I returned them. I went a BMW site and found out I had to get speakers that are made for my car. I paid 5 times the money. I sent the ones from sonic back and didn't anything. More then 3 weeks I emailed them. They said they were putting the money on my account. I argued with them and said its there policy. The box was opened. Speakers were never used in perfect condition. 60 day refund if there is nothing wrong with them. I had to see if they fit. They didn't and they said they would fit. If you have been on there site they tell you if they fit and if you need anything to make them fit. They were supposed to fit perfectly. They said its there policy to not give money back if box was opened. Its not. I would never ever buy anything from Sonic again. They make reasons not to refund.

We filed a claim in order to recoup the funds for the lost product, however, we received notice that you did not comply with your local post office in order to resolve that claim. Because of this, we were not able to recoup the funds for the lost product.

DO NOT buy this item from Sonic Electronix! I purchased this for my son as a gift for Christmas. The leads were not properly welded. We contacted Sonic Electronix on January 4,2021 & requested an RA "return authorization" which came back DENIED. I called them & they actually told me to contact the manufacturer, Steve Meade Designs. To date, I have been UNSUCCESSFUL in reaching anyone there either! With shipping & taxes, the bill came to $252.78

I purchased a high end stereo adapter kit and some other items as I'm upgrading my Lexus SC430. BestBuy (the installers) are giving me a run around saying my tech issue is about the part, not the installation. I went onto SE's site and confirmed that the part did not look like what was installed -- the problem is there is a metal piece that runs along the top of SE's dash kit, and you can easily see it on the picture from their site. But BestBuy doesn't seem to have an answer and can't explain anything about the top horizontal piece to the kit. I'll get to the bottom of this, but the SE people have been wonderful trying to get this figured out and Ashley B. In customer service is very professional and I can tell very caring.
Ordered a NVX CLA2 The product came with no wiring Harnesses so I can't use it. I have call and I was told (we will ship out asap). Week later nothing. So I emailed them nothing no response. Asked for a RA# no response. Don't buy from these people. Customer service really Sucks.
I ordered an Atrend sealed subwoofer box... Sonic had the best price by far, the item shipped the same day and was delivered across country 2 days later! The only reason I didn't give five stars is because the carpeting on the rear two bottom corners of the sub box is worn right at the edge -- you can see slivers of wood bc there's no carpeting. BUT, it's on the bottom and no one can see it. AND I attribute to the manufacturer not Sonic. Overall, I'm pleased with the experience and will do business with Sonic again!
I order a speaker from them. It took about 5 days to get to me which wasn't bad. But when I considered to return the item I had to pay for shipping and wait for them to do there process of the return. I sent this item early may of 2022. Today it is may 23rd and I called to see where my refund was and was told that there's only two guys that do it and they have been out. Ridiculous! Then she tells me that she will push the return through and I should receive a refund in 3 to 5 days. Exactly what they told me last week. I would not recommend this shop.
DO NOT USE SONIC ELECTRONIX! They sent me a used 12" Alpine sub enclosure. They first said it was shipping damage. Came wrapped in plastic, covered completely by Styrofoam, and not 1, but 2 boxes. They front bezel was covered in scratches and chips definitely used. Could hear loud clunking inside. Hooked up sub, didn't work. Checked my connections with another speaker, just fine. Countless emails and phone calls, they refused to refund my money. Out $450CDN. Save your money. Do not order from Sonic Electronix!
I ordered tweeters and sub speakers for my Mazda 6. The website said the models would fit with no alteration needed. When I received the speakers the tweeters would not fit nor would the speakers. Sonic advertises easy returns. I filed online for a return RA. The website said pending, and no additional information was given. I called Sonic 4 times to inquire about the return, at no time can you speak with an agent, you can only leave a message due to no agents available. I have left 2 voicemails and emailed Sonic. I have never received a response. Now the RA has been cancelled on there website. It maybe easy to order from them but trying to return products seems impossible. Terrible customer service and infrastructure. Shop with somebody else.
