They make you pay to have high quality music streaming. When you upload music on there, it completely ruins the audio, and they have no clue how to make a working copyright system. Every time I request for monetization on songs that I rightfully own, they get taken down until I email SoundCloud showing proof that I own the music. The only reason I would recommend this website is because it can be good for artists that are starting out. Other than that this platform sucks

Very cool site for "moving" music across the web. Soundcloud lets you upload, send, share, and download music. Although geared towards aspiring artists hoping to share their music, the site makes it very easy for casual users to receive tunes from their friends, browse or play hosted files, and download the ones they want. The embedded player is simple, slick, and customizable. There is also no limit to the file size you want to upload to the cloud! Definitely worth checking out -- a much neater, music-focused alternative to rapidshare or dropbox.

You have made a lot of your tracks only available with SoundCloud go. I've had this app for about 2yrs now. I've been building up my playlists. I'm not, not at all, happy about how much of these songs have become unavailable. All my tracks started as free, now approximately 90% of my tracks require SoundCloud go. This is ridiculous. I'm very unhappy with your app at the moment and I'm tempted to uninstall. Please take these tracks off SoundCloud go, perhaps I'll change my mind. I hope I've been clear enough.

I've always been an avid soundcloud fan and never had any problems. However, I decided to try the free trial of Go and am very disappointed. I didn't really feel it was worth the money, so I went to cancel my subscription before the 30 days were over. However, when I went to the manage subscriptions page, there was NO way to edit my account to disable go. I looked for so long for a way to contact soundcloud, however there was only an international phone number and FAQs. I took me two days just to hunt down the customer service email. After emailing, I was responded to with automatic reply telling me to refer back to the FAQ page. Great. Then, when finally contacting a human being, I was told I was not going to be refunded for ONE day over of soundcloud Go even though I had been trying to cancel since before the deadline. Definitely not using soundcloud anymore. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

****FRAUD SERVICE OF NOTE**** I have been trying get access to my account and ut wont let me. Even if I use my HTTP link as it suggests. No support service, just a watered down version of advise and robotics used to fool the unsuspecting customer. They have been debiting my account for months and I cant even cancel my subscription as they wont allow me access to my account. I am so disgusted as an artist at these scammers. I don't even get a statement of purchase for all the debits that they have been doing!

How is possible to ban and stop my upload when I own my music, my right and I have to prove that I'm real me. Ridiculous ridiculous ridiculous ridiculous

Soundcloud not only lets you post only 4 hours worth of music, but it wiped ALL, and i am not joking, but all my music and if you go pro it only gives you 6 hours. Why cant it just be unlimited do you can get your music out there? All i want to do is make music and make something good. I spent a whole nights giving credit to my mixes, that are 2 hours long to all the artists and to find it all gone, and my album. I say $#*! SOUNDCLOUD. Stay Away!

I used to like soundcloud but the fact that they added ADS is so ridiculous. It was free so all these years then all of a sudden we just HAD to get ads. I'm not paying to listen to remixes and remakes to songs Im just fricken not lol you already have the up to date songs on a 30 second time limit soooo I have to pay to listen to full songs AND not have ads? Get out of here. I will pay for something better like Spotify. Seriously.

This app is the worst app out there. Its worse than the sound of lambs being slaughtered. I am disgusted by the fact they do not give refunds to the poor helpless people who just wanted the 3 months for £1. Because there are no refunds and i wasnt able to cancel my subscription in time it has taken the money out my account which i dont even think I have so I will now go into overdraft and then have to pay a fine and also because of this i am not going to be able to eat tonight or for the next few days becuase i now have no money. So congratulations soundcloud you bunch of gadgy arseholes with ur fingers so high up ur own ares you couldny give two $#*!es about how the other half may live. I think the new app compatible with the iPhone in particular is ABSOLUTELY ridiculous. I for one would like to know how you reached the conclusion that RESTRICTING our usage was somewhat good for business.
It has dawned on me that perhaps you all have forgotten that the sole purpose off the app is for one to showcase their music and to understand the levels to which the song has been liked/disliked by those who have played it.
I cannot even see who has followed me another LIMITATION now making it harder for me to explore other users, I cannot make a comment even whilst knowing that the vast majority of those who put things up WANT/RESPECT/APPRECIATE written feedback on tracks.
You can no longer see when the song was posted by the artist which is surely crucial if your a dj... how do you know if something is new or old?
I desperately need some light shed on this situation.
Worst idea ever

Soundcloud is by far the worst customer support I have ever experienced. Not to mention the horrible spam infested site. And they steal from musicians because muso's allow it. So sad.

I don't even know where to begin. The review will be too long. So I'll focus on the following:

Their reply takes about a month to two months if they do. When they do, they seem very kind and helpful. Then, you never hear from them again. I have emailed them 7 times in a row. This took about a year in total. I never, not once got any help from them. You can't say I didn't try.

First they billed me without my permission. And now I can't log into my accounts. After many months of trying I decided to leave the site and asked them to delete me from the site. But no one ever replies after the first reply. That is such a 'f*ck you' to your customers. It's unbelievable.

They are the worst experience I've ever had with any company. I hate you Soundcloud, and your so called support is dragging you down and I hope you all drown together. Going bankrupt the for second time, and this time no one will bail you out. Your end is nigh. I heed you!

Musicians, wake up and stop selling yourselves to these daemons. Have some self respect. Soundcloud and these streaming giants are just using you and stealing your souls. Stand up for yourselves for goodness sake.
