Amazing website, like amazon in gulf area, product are original, prices is less than the market, and you will find everything in it. They have return policy, and accept cash payment & credit cards, delivery is v good in max 3 days, very professional.

1. Unable to purchase as it doesn't give an option for delivery which is an address which I have been received many times before for orders. I did follow up after follow up but no use as irresponsible people attending the call and doesn't bother to take further resolution on the complaint 2. Customer service - Extremely poor... its now weeks since I complained... No one even bothered to give a call back to update... nor resolved... 3. Many of the products now I find much cheaper in the market and I dont see its worth doing shopping on line when you are supposed to be cheaper and reliable on cost effective purchases.

For sure it should be my last time purchasing from this place, they have the poor service I ever see during my life returning a defective item is a big headache call center agent are out of the range not recommended any more,

Ordered quite a few items now from Souq and at least 3 of them have been damaged or have had stuff missing! I've also experienced the worst customer service ever in my life! I would definitely recommend you do not purchase anything from this site as you will be very disappointed.

Yesterday I placed order no ************** it was showing 10 units available today they sent email saying order cancelled?, Please beware of fake Souq.com.

Customer satisfaction is zero important for Souq.com

Very disappointed, after going to amazon the service has really dropped. They have just ruined my sons birthday. No one answers phones fro their side or their couriers. Been using them for years and trust them. Not anymore

Worst service, Call Center no one ready to take nay responsibility to resolve delivery issues, every one blames others, we don't have any direct contacts from operation team, which they delayed tremendously.
In Dubai branch of Souq.com relay worst then other online shopper.

Tip for consumers:
waste

I have bought three Samsung phone from souq. None of them are working when I sent for service they returned me after one week with the same issue and closed my case and not ready to rectify my problem any more

I am shocked, on how matters are being dealt with from souq.com, Robotic replies add completely false information to get you out of the line as soon as possible!

Please do not buy from here! Any visit to any selling surface is much better than spending a one hour on the phone to resolve delivery issues and other issue about products

I have purchased IPhone 5 from souq.com. When arrived the phone was completed. Charged several times not charging and powering on. Made a complaint and waiting for 3 weeks, they neither replaced the unit nor returned the money and very poor response. Pathetic... Really worse experience.

The idea of an online market app is not an original one, so this one does its job just okay as well, it's fully functional and intuitive. We deal with the app and think we are fine, but because it's a platform for all sorts of local sellers majority of which in the Arab Gulf have pretty low standards, Souq.com has little to no influence over how businesses handle us customers. The customer service communication is rather swift, but not very helpful or effective. I have an impression they live in their own universe. They have no control over the shipment or delivery times advertised on their website, they can't guarantee product quality nor facilitate proper communication between the seller and the customer. There is no possibility of a direct contact with the seller unless you file a complaint. After sale support is a drama. I find it hard to rate this business/app - hence, 1 star.

Put order online for car charger, received sms of its shipping and I can pay by credit card. Courier came have no machine, said ok will send my colleague with machine.He went and I kept calling souq they said he will come sure. 3 days later the courier returned back the order and cancelled it while I keep calling they both say sorry but no one knows who cancelled the order and why and how? No one solved my problem and I was in tight time travelling, went to Jumbo found the original charger even with less price.It is better not to buy from them as you may get hypertension or heart attack from their careless actions.

Fake products, cheap $#*!e, belligerent sellers, huge bunch of condescending arseholes.

Paid good money for a new, supposedly decent graphics card and ended up with bios-flashed fake turd. The card died a few days later before I even had the chance to return it and now I have a dead turd.

Return policy insists on Souq credit rather than actual money back for my form of payment... no thanks keep your goddamn credit, I'm not having anything to do with this ridiculously poor excuse for an online shopping $#*!e.

Those people at souq.com delivered to me broken package and they refuse to take it back and refund the money. Those people should be in Jail. Now they posted on the site that the product is delivered, What they deliver to me is two broken jars of Honey. The delivery boy calls every couple of days to tell me he's coming to collect it, but he never shows up.
I don't know how these people are still running a business in Egypt.

I can't imagine anywhere worse to buy from than souq.com. I thought that it was just in Egypt but I was shocked with the same experience even in UAE. Sellers are allowed to sell products that are already out of stock, also no real time inventory tracking which results in order not being delivered.

Worst customer experience and satisfaction ever, at this rate they will be out of business soon. Cheap commerce software with 0 advanced planning and optimization and of course no transportation management or at least it feels this way.

Placed order 30/6/2018 and till now I am waiting the delivery item.
I sent them many emails without any real response from them. Always they said "we check the details and will contact you soon". I don't know when this "soon" will arrive its destination.
In addition delivery man lies about the time he contacts the customer in the tracking page information. He registered fake time to convince he is doing his job perfectly.
I advise not to deal with such company even if amazon is the owner nowadays.

Bought 2 products on souq that arrived USED, only partially functioning, and a different brand than specified in the listing.

Not the first time this has happened with souq. I once ordered a grill that arrived USED and with charred meat on it. The response of souq? We asked to return it and get our money back, they sent someone 2 weeks later! After many phone calls.

Save yourself the peace of mind and just go to the store and buy this stuff yourself. An actual souq customer service person advised me to "open all boxes before paying for them"... which to me says they KNOW they have an issue with quality control.

In the past we use to visit local street corners and get fooled by local sellers with counterfeit product due to lack of product knowledge,
Now souq.com has just taken all these sellers and created an online platform where they can sell these counterfeit and fake products and deliver it at our doorstep "including a delivery fee".
I don't blame souq.com he's just a street smart business man with a high school degree who played you all graduates holding degrees.

I was sold a counterfeit Blackberry by Souq.com. Found out only a month later because the software was playing complete mess. Now I am supposed to get a refund, but it is dragging on and on. Never buy any electronics from this place, it will for sure be fake!

Totally incredible. I return one apple watch series 3 and which was rejected by seller, still I didn't received my package almost 1 month ago. All the time I call center they give me silly excuses and all. Here is my tracking number.

Souq.com is such a scam. They send you messages that your ordered item will be delivered on a set date, then there is no delivery. I had already called 3 times and the customer service people keep saying the seller has not responded. All this time my credit card was charged for the item. The even had the cheek to say that I can cancel my order and the amount will be reversed in 7 business days. Best to avoid this scam site.

Been customer for Souq since 2010 but they are losing their customer. I have waited for 3 weeks, kept calling and no refund nor product is returned.

My money is gone and time. Don't buy from this pathetic company.

Wrong product delivered, the ordered which i had placed was not the same as i received, i wrote n number of mails to souq customer but every time i got a reply saying that they are sorry to hear and will get your query resolved... when i asked for a refund or exchange these people say thats not the policy... SERIOUSLY!
Neither i got the phone exchanged nor i got my refund...

Advice to all - Do not purchase things from Souq (#####)

I was order Bluetooth headset. After five days it doesn't work. I called many times. Always they send massage. """Our courier pick up your Souq.com return order today from the registered address. If you wish to reschedule please call *******"" until now no one come. Please please please if you can't send some one don't send massage. U guys wasting my time.! I'm really disappointed souq.com!

I ordered from Souq 3 times.
-Ordered a small table, it arrived intact and on time. Quality was as promised.
-Ordered a pair of headphones and a pair of shoes. Shoes turned out to be too large.
Returned and received refund within a week. (Courier Q-express)
-Ordered two pairs of shoes. Again, arrived intact and on time.

So far everything worked out. If you have ordered from Souq and now questioning your life choices, don't despair just yet! Remember that, the thousands of folks who got their order without problems, they don't leave reviews. Only the disappointed folks voice their problems, but they are very much the minority.

So I hope you fall into my category, the satisfied folks, and I pray that I myself will never be the unfortunate person.
