I have never used or frequented this site but had recently come across a similar date/adult site which did much the same... in fact this one site would then bombard you w a host of similar sites... and would give you "free" 3 mo. Subscriptions to them... and then they would all charge you a monthly fee and were almost impossible to shut down... i eventually ended up closing my bank acct and moving on to another bank entirely! I later did some resarch and found out that many of these sites were owned by a foreign company... i forget the name... and they had tons of complaints and pending litigation actions against them... since that time i almost exclusively search on free dating websites like Plenty of Fish and such and ignore any adds w super model like beauties that live only a "few miles away" and try to lure you to one of these deathtrap sites... buyer beware!

OMG THE most annoying website, bar none! I don't know if it's just because I'm too far on the introvert scale but I can't stand this. Any time you sign on to do anything, it a.) throws you right into the middle of a speed date and b.), won't let you cancel. There's a popup saying that it will let you cancel, but if any of the alleged cancellation links work I couldn't find them, and the largest button is, of course, "Find me another speed date!" They shoved me into a speed date when I had merely clicked the link to alter my email preferences and hadn't even signed in. Speed is one thing, this is ridiculous. If you like ANY control over your dating experience, including when to start it, steer clear from this site!

BEWARE! The site advertises that it's $12.50/mo in large print, but in small print, it states that they charge you all at once. So, I got stuck with a one year, $150 membership. In the less than one month that I've been a member, my account has been disabled for over half that time. It allows me to sign in intermittantly, but most often, it says it's disabled. When I can actually login, it says my password has to be reset... every single time. I also get men trying to chat with me who live clear across the country even though I set it to 100 miles or less. Customer service is non-existant as you can't speak to a live person. I have sent countless emails requesting help and now am trying to figure out who to go to to complain and get a refund! Stay away from this site!

I had someone email me and another one wink at me. Couldn't do anything from the email. Also went to speeddate.com and when I signed in, it wanted me to pay money to verify that it was me. What is the deal?

Well under settings it has a checkbox for "whenever i receive emails" or whatever, so basically the messages are fake and is just tricking you into giving them some money. Wonder why BBB hasn't cracked down on them eyt.

I ordered this service for one month and they charged me for 6 months and won't give me my money back. I am calling the bbb and attourney general. I went into overdraft at my bank. Don't trust these people.

Crooks stay away! I wanted the 1 month(31.99)they took 1 year(155.40) talked to a lady, was told payment went threw already.no refund, no supervisor. Bunch of scammers!

Ok it took awhile like three months but i did get my money back they said i logged in to their site for like six months and a was a member barely a week. Stay away from speed date

They don't answer the phones. They refuse to respond. It is a complete scam and they were NOT authorized to debit my account. Lisa Madigan likes these types of scams.

Not a good site. It appears to be at first, but their are to many non functional parts of it. Like emails showing not read. No one will answer requests so one knows if their mail is received. Have to receive it first. Read the reviews and there are many dissatisfied members. Can't get a response from speeddate either. They will not respond. There is more. There are several ways to send an email. One way will not send them. Others will but it appears they are not received as most will read an email and when they do it should show up as read. Not on this site. Bring up the website and read all you can in the reviews. You will most likely not get in and save the money. I like it's setup somewhat but nothing works right most of the time. Not one individual I have kindly asked to respond back to me has letting me know they received my mail. I have been through this before on other sites. They sound reputable but I see nothing of the kind as far as results and satisfaction. Plus I got into the site by accident. I gave my credit card number for the. 50 cent verification fee, but did not give it again until I made a decision after checking it out. I was on speed date of June of last year for a premium discount for $10•32 per month so I was told on a reasonable but they claiming that I don't have a record of my account and and service the proof that I have is on paper my account number or premium number, when I got my check I notice and suspected I'm short of over one hundred and something cause of this matter, shame on speed date, I called up customer service and the guy English is not that good shame on that person(s)I requested to have my service terminated that person refused cause my account expired next year 2016 that's way too long shame on them once again finally men's women girls boys don't try speed date cause they will leave anybody stuck with services and take a chunk of your hard earned working money.

99 percent of ALL the women you talk to on this site are PHISHING SCAMs or are CAM GIRLS who ultimately ask for your credit card number. Even people you *think* are real will end up as a scam, some will talk with you for an hour or more for the purpose of getting into your wallet.

I cannot say I hate a Web page any stronger than I hate speeddate.com. It sucks everything gross and disgusting imaginable, and is a waste of time and money. DO NOT visit this site, let it putrefy and go out of business.

I was looking for a picture of a decent man to date.As I was reviewing pictures and profiles of men a, picture of a man----- totally nude---- sitting down in a chair----- with his legs spread eagle,---- no face,---- YUCK!... I looked at the site yesterday, because of a pop up. It looked kind of interesting. However, it's not free. If you want to contact or be contacted you have to pay for it. I picked the cheapest, but within an hour I was charged $47.and that wasn't what I said I wanted. Then when I tried to go somewhere on the site and it charges another. 99cents. HOWEVER, it never seems to verify, so you have to do it again? They will NOT give me back my money (EVEN THOUGH THIS WAS ALL WITHIN 20 MINUTES). They said no refunds! I was only on the site 20 minutes beginning to end... Then when I tried to call customer support they wanted to sell me a bracelet, NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT. Then when I got an auto answer the number to call was: *******212 sound familiar? BOGUS SITE!

This is a scam website, they stole 155.40 out of my acct and I am on SSDI. I am posting this because I am going to discuss this with a class action attorney.

There would be around 18-20 guys and 18-20 girls who would get chance to talk for 5minutes and each has a number given. And at the end, each member writes down the number of the opposite sex person whom they are interested to meet.
So the result is in the hands of the organizer.
I went for such a event lat year and i got email that there was no match found this time. But this year i went again, twice. I asked a girl in the break if she is intersted to meet and she said yes. Just to test them, i have selected all 18 girls who attended, some of whom i am not interested at all, though they were.
Irrespective of how the event and talking goes, beware that you would just get an email that unfortunately you have not found a match.
Infact i met couple of girls accidentally after and in the conversation found out that they chose to meet me and i have as well but organizers said, there was no match, which is a lie.so the organizers just cheat people.

I read a review of it under good dating site, said limited services on free, so I joined. One can practically do nothing on free, can't respond to emails ( feel sorry for the guys who contact me, but I put a reference on my profile of Mingle 2 on there and hope it stays on there.) According to other reviews one says that they take money from you without you giving your account number, I think they may not have a paid account but Speed Dating tricks you by saying you can verify your account by only spending. 99 and then charging you over $100 for one year. My complaint is not about the charges as I was smart enough not to give them any cc info (don't see how they can charge without you giving your cc info first but I used a fake first name and inaccurate birth date) but even as a free member, there is no way to filter the type of mate you want, if you are a certain age, they will ONLY let you see the mates the same age you are (which knowing the penchant men have for younger woman must be a REAL disappointment-so warning you, men LQTM) and you can't deactivate or cancel your account (ANOTHER warning, there may be a lot of members there who are no longer active.) Also I find THIS rather humorous, I posted a couple of pics, one is a distance shot where can't see my face too clearly as a Playboy bunny for Halloween (it was taken 30 years ago as was put on there as joke as explained in my MUCH more comprehensive Mingle 2 profile) and a full face one taken more recently and they removed that one, guess they felt it was too ugly!
