My husband and I decided to be Chuckie and Tiffany Valentine for Halloween. His overalls were really big they was a large/extra large, but we pinned it up and we made it work overall. Very good quality.
For as long as i can remember, spirit Halloween was one of the best places to be as a teenager out of high school on a weekend with your friends. Now that I am an adult I see things differently. The products they sell even the most expensive will last maybe 2 years tops! So if I spent 500 on a animatronic its trash in 2 years. Not only is this a environmental disaster its a money scheme. Sprit Halloween does this on purpose, it is their financial expectation and built into their business model. Spirit Halloween, it does not have to be this way! You and your executives and L1's can change this and make it great again!
I would strongly recommend not buying from this store. They are overpriced and have an unreasonable return policy. They will not accept returns after 10/18, but are more than willing to sell outdated items and returns from previous years. I would recommend Amazon for all of your Halloween needs.
I was exchanging a costume because mask was messed up. I had a coupon when I originally bought it. They were going to make me pay the difference in coupon price. Cashier got mad because manager told her to not charge me. She threw receipt on the costume. She refused to put it in a bag. I will never shop here again. First time there and my last!
I've emailed no answers!... I've tried to chat online... it always says we're not available... I've tried to talk to them through Facebook... NOTHING! I've called been put on hold for an hour then disconnected! Now I'm calling and I'm on hold! This is ridiculous! Where is my damn order I spent 280.00 on!
I bought a costume online in September. It didn't fit my son so I promptly returned the costume 5 days after receiving the costume. Per the online return policy I was entitled to my full refund for returning the item on time. Well its almost November and I have yet to see my refund. First they said the refund would show up in 7 to 10 business days. Never showed up. Then they informed me that they were sending me a check out for the inconvenience which still has yet come. I will never see that $40 back and will never give another penny to Spirit Halloween.

The costume we received was obviously used. Had holes in the pant legs. The paw patrol patch was ripped off and scotch taped back on. More than disappointed. COMPLETELY GROSSED OUT! Full return and reimbursement would NEVER fix this. Places like this should be shut down.

I ordered two costumes for a 10/30 event and the delivery date stated 10/30 so I paid $40 for a two day delivery (10/28). When it did not arrive by noon on 10/30 I called Cust Service and waited 30 min for a rep. She refunded the $40 but could not track the package and referred me to the USPS. I called USPS ( another 25 min wait) and they said a "pre- mail" form had been sent but the company never delivered the product for delivery. We spent another $50 on costumes two hours before the event.
The costumes arrived on 11/3 and there are no refunds. After 10/23.
I ordered 3 costumes back in August 2022, which I never received. I cancelled the order and requested a refund. My total was over $100, they refunded me $26.99. To get the rest, I had to send them a screenshot of my order. They told me the rest of my refund was processed October 1st and it would take 7-14 business days. It is now October 20th, and still no refund. I contacted them again, and now they say I have to send them a screenshot of my order along with screenshots of my bank transactions showing that I haven't received the rest of my refund. Their response was "sometimes things take longer to be refunded." Spirit Halloween's online ordering service, is by far the worst I've ever dealt with.

The costumes are way overpriced and are made cheaply. I took a coupon I had received 2 weeks prior and they would not honor it saying it expired. It expired the day after it was given to me. Why would you even give a coupon if it expires in 24 hours. Totally disgusted and will not be back again. Hopefully they never come back.

On 7/16/17, I put an order in for the 14" evil eye animated spell book. They gave a projected ship date of 8/4/17. I attempted to contact them through the site and they have not even responded back to me. If there was a delay in the shipping for some reason, I would have understood that, but to not even respond to an inquiry on top of a two week plus late order is unexcusable. I will never place an online order with Spirithalloween.com again.
I purchased several pieces of jewelry. Three of the rings broke, items are of the cheapest grade. I spent $98 and half the items have broke while wearing in office or broke in package. Don't waste your time or money. Shop online Amazon. Like I should have.

I made multiple attempts to contact several of our local stores to obtain information on products. On each occasion I was never given the oppertunity to speak with a real person regarding my request. The only contact number available was a 866 number that I could never get an answer even after waiting over an hour. Horrible, horrible service, will give any other company the chance to earn my business going forward.
The costumes are over priced trash! They take your money and no return on torn broken crap costumes! Save your money and look good go anywhere but to this awful place. Never ever again will we purchase this trash!

I ordered a costume from there website at the end of August 2019. It said that it would ship in the middle of September. It is now the first week in October and I have not received it. When I go into my order history, it says that there is nothing. I even got a confirmation email stating that it was ordered. I am never ordering from there website again. I guess I will just have to stick with the store.
This is ridiculous that you purchase a product at a store and if it falls apart on the day you wear it you have absolutely no recourse of refunds. I will never buy from this company. Do yourself a favor - purchase from a reliable and dependable company where you have options to return or exchange products. We purchased an Alien Pick Me Up inflatable costume. Within four hours of wearing the air support dropped out - deflating costume. We tried to fix for the time but to no avail. How can you sell a $60.00 costume that has a life expectancy of four hours and again suffer no recourse or resposibility for this product. It is also amazing the company offers NO email or online support. DO NOT SHOP HERE!

I only gave 1 star because I have to give them something in order to leave a review. I ordered on October 26 and paid for overnight shipping and it said I would receive my package by October 30. I needed it by the 31st so that would have been perfect. But it didn't come when it was supposed to. I didn't get it until November 3. I am very unhappy and dissatisfied with the whole experience. I want to return everything and I want a refund and a refund for shipping as well. I tried calling and it says my wait time is between 10 to 16 hours that's unheard of. Now it's saying I can't even return it for a refund. This place is a scam! I have the package unopened and I want to return everything and i want my hard earn money back! I would NOT recommend and I will NEVER order from here again! Worst place ever and worst experience ever.

I placed an order 8/24 with shipment supposedly on 9/15. I received half my order and have been waiting over a month for the last costume. I have called twice a week for an update and have gotten "it will be shipped today, tomorrow, it's being expedited." Only to find out they have no costume being shipped and "maybe" it will be shipped the 10/22. Instead of being honest and giving the customers a choice as to cancel and look somewhere else when I first called they string you along with false hope and the supervisor Stacy or Kaycee was NO HELP. She offered me a coupon and $5.00 shipping fee return. REALLY! Now my son has several Halloween parties to attend with no costume. Now I have to scramble for a replacement because the one he wanted is sold out. What was the point of ordering in advance if this was going to happen. Thanks for ruining my sons Halloween SPIRIT!
I ordered a Halloween costume from this company and have regretted it ever since. I paid for expresss shipping, it still took 24 days to get to me. When I reached out to ask about delays in shipping they notified me it was due to quality control. The costume that arrived was not what was pictured or described. Also, I ordered an Xl, according to their measurements, the pants were appropriately sized for an XL, the top was a small at best. Not to mention the material is cheap and see through, you get better quality for the same price at Party City! I reached out to return the item I ordered and they are refusing to refund my money. Stay as far away from this company as possible!

I Placed an order online beginning of October, their website did not hold my unit number in the system upon ordering. Oct 19th. I responded to survey they sent letting them know I had not received my item. I heard from no one. I called spirits a week later they said they can't help me until items get back to them. Then they will refund my money, items finally arrived back to store mid Nov. They then issued me a refund in the wrong amount, shorting me 76.00. Once again I contacted Spirits and they apologized and said they would mail me the cheque for the difference (I confirmed my correct address again) & they advised me I will have the amount owing by the beginning of December. It is now December 12th and I have still not received my money. Their system is faulty and they are incompetent, I recommend you do not buy anything online from this company or risk much of your time chasing them or losing your money!

By far worst customer service ever! On the 14th I placed a 2 day order. Received it yesterday, I asked for a medium and was sent a size so small it wont fit my kid. With in the 2 weeks I waited i sent several emails and fb messages and comments. Called and got no where. Now im 50$ out of money and my order summery sent was half done in ink and tbe rest is faded crap.

I strongly advise against shopping at this store!I recently purchased a 6ft Zombie Fog Animatronic from this store, and the experience has been nothing short of disappointing. Upon receiving the product, I discovered that a crucial part was missing. Despite my numerous attempts to contact the store and address the issue, they have failed to take any corrective action. The lack of response and unwillingness to facilitate a return process reflects poorly on their customer service. At this point, I'm left with a defective product and a sense of frustration. I strongly advise others to steer clear of this store and explore alternative options for their purchases.

Worse company ever!
After wait two months for Christmas' toys, made five calls to the Customer Service and promises that the toys will arrive. At the end, they said that my order was a ghost order and never process. So, they had to cancel my order. I waist two months and have a very crying- disappointed kid waiting for his toys every single day at the window

I visited the store in Bakersfield on Ming in sept 2019 and had the worst experience! The cashier upon checking out said, " I need an ID" and I told her my husband has his ID I left mine in the car we have the same last name can you use his?" She rudely said "no you cant purchase here without an ID" so I said fine I'll go to the car. I ran out to the car and came back in and handed her my ID. She seen I was frustrated on my face because I was but instead of apologizing for the inconvenience she taunted me! She said hope your day gets better, be blessed but very sarcastically and kept getting louder until I was literally out of the store I could still here her yelling! I won't be going there anymore spirit lost my business and respect! I'll either order online on amazon or go to party city! Bad customer service!

We bought two costumes on Oct 25th. There was no dressing room at the store to try it on. We took them home and tried them on to find out they were too small. Took them back 30 minutes later and could not get a refund. It was past Oct 22nd. They offered an exchange up to Oct 28 but there were no larger sizes. There are no signs by the costumes letting you know about the return policy. The staff did not say anything when we paid for it either. I can see not offering a refund overnight, but it was like 30 minutes. There will not be a next time, but if there were I would strip down in the middle of the store and try the costume on.
