I have called and left messages"VM" as well as 4 emails for setup help for a month now and no replies. "0" stars if possible. I am unable to use my camera with the battery pack I purchased due to not having a close outlet. The camera will not work on just the battery which negates why I paid for the battery. After reading their return policy, now it's been too late while waiting on a response. Shop elsewhere. Also, they do not deliver unless someone can sign M-F 9-5. Most people work and it gets sent back to them and they don't reply to ANY type of communication. I had to fight through PayPal to get my money back the first time to then reorder and sent to my job. And now stuck again.
Bought several products from this group - The first product, the pinhole camera, was great, but I needed to return the second product and I never heard back from customer service about how to do that. I bought a second pinhole camera and it was faulty, so I reached out to Spygear about a replacement and have yet to hear from them.
Bottom line, if the product works and you never need to interact with their sales or customer service, great; if you do, don't hold your breath.

I ordered the HD Speaker Wi-Fi Security camera from Spygear Gadgets and finally tried to use it to check on my dog. I had trouble installing the software so I looked up reviews and found POOR RATINGS on the software used to operate the camera. A lot of people are having problems with the software not recording, or too dark or kicking them out on their iphone. The camera says it operates in dark and rotates 360 degrees. Images on my iphone are too dark to see much of anything and it does not rotate 360 degrees, just 90 degrees! Will be returning this item for a refund. I will update my review once I get a full refund of my $175! So in short, look at reviews of the software that the item uses before purchasing!
I paid for a GPS tracker, I paid 238.+, they got my money, and I have not received anything but an email, which apologized, but was nothing but a scam. They have a number you can call to contact them, but all their representatives are busy helping other customers. I even went to the BBB. Should have done that first.

Purchased a camera from this company to help a relative with a situation. Turns out that it wasn't needed after all. After struggling to get someone at customer service, I finally received the information required to return the item for a refund as it was unopened. Followed all of the instructions and deadline to return the item on time yet I am still waiting for a refund two months later. I have contacted their customer service through phone, email and chat but have not been able to reach anyone nor have they responded to any emails. So I'm out $200.

I bought a camera, the camera was very loud when plugged in which defeated the purpose of having it. It would often make a "click" sound like a camera while plugged in. I emailed them, got a return approval code and send it back with tracking. They got it on 10/18 and i have never gotten my refund. I have sent 4 emails with no reply. I called my bank and will get the payment reversed. Next call will be to BBB to file a report. They also do not answer the telephone. Absolute scumbags
Ordered two cameras for my business to catch some vandals. Delivery was fast (I paid for overnight shipping.) One camera worked great and the second was defective. I let customer service know the next day. It took a week for them to respond and it wasn't helpful. I responded the same day and it took nearly a month for them to respond. Still not helpful - I needed return instructions. Several calls and emails later, still no response. Terrible customer service on a defective product. It has been 11 months now...

I have a issue with a camera and they do not want to talk to you on the phone. Andy is the person I have been texting by email stated to follow the steps in the manual which I did. And pretty much said I don't know what I am doing or I don't have 5GHz and that is why it is not working. My son works for AT&T. Now he wants me to pay to send it back so I can get a refund. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! This is a joke. I have left messages and I asked Andy to please call me. He won't. How can this company stay in business? Now I am reading that customers do not get refunds once product is sent back. Make sure and read all the reviews.
Purchased a small item. Day I received it, couldn't make it work. I called and got a RMA# to send back product, which I did on 04/05/2021. Got an email back saying they got the product back and put a tickets on it. After that i Have called and send messages many times. They do not reply back. They kept my $124. Recently ordered an item from this boggus pos scammers and received the item. I did not opened the package and decided to return it back. I bought a label bcuz they don't provide you with none. I Emailled this idiot pos Alex in regards to returning the package. He replied to how to returned the item. I sent him a tracking label where the item was sent back and received. Pos never answered back. I called the # they have. Don't waste your time, them pos never answered. I have not received my money back. I made a police report. Pending status. Below is proof I bought the item and sent them label which shows they receive.
Received camera in Jan 2019. It worked for several months and then suddenly was unable to connect to the camera remotely, (still worked when I was on the same wifi). Open a case with support and they said no problem, it was a known issue; they just need to flash it and send it back to me. They sent me an RMA number and I sent it to them on Dec. 6th 2019. I emailed on Dec 26 for a status, and they respond on Jan. 6th, 2020 stating they have it ready and just need to confirm the shipping address. I confirmed the shipping address the same day. And then nothing. I have emailed, attempted the chat, called, just voicemail. It is now Feb. 11th and they still have not responded to my requests for status.
If you buy from them, you better hope you never need it serviced.
My new DIY camera worked great for a couple of months. Then the live streaming stopped. I can only connect when I'm within my wifi range. Then when I get home I have over 25 recorded segments in a room where there is not motion. Alex returned my original email questioning the issue with this response.
"The server that facilitates the connection between the cameras and the app has been having intermittent issues which is causing the remote viewing functionality to have connection issues. This is a widespread issue affecting cameras from every manufacturer and company. Engineers are currently working on the issue to get the servers back up and running properly, and we should have an update on that soon.
In the meantime, as you could see when you are on the same WiFi network you can still access and control the cameras, and the recording functions will continue to work as normal as well.
We apologize for this inconvenience and will have an update for you soon."
That was 14 days ago. My follow up emails have gone unanswered.

I wish there was a way to leave negative stars. The products I ordered were bad right out of the box. I've been trying for several weeks to get them returned and no one has responded to my emails or voice mails. TERRIBLE COMPANY WITH TERRIBLE PRODUCTS!
No one ever answers phone, no one ever handles chats. I placed order, was defective FINALLY answered 6th email, sent replacement, same issue defective. NOW not able to get any response from anyone no matter how many times I try. BEWARE!
If you want to return an item they will not respond timely and you will have to send multiple emails to get a response and only then will they say one of 2 things, it went to your Spam folder or their system failed to send. DO NOT ORDER DIRECT FROM THEM, ORDER FROM AMAZON SO YOU ARE ASSURED YOUR REFUND. They have been in possession of my returned item since Sept. 3rd and have not refunded me nor have they responded to any of my emails since.

It is a crying shame when someone tries to buy a "camera" to try and catch a person thieving from you and the company that you thought could help just screws you over. I bought a $250 DVD case with built in camera and it is a hunky of junk. Its poorly made, (although the outside does look authentic) the ad card they sent with it freezes my tablet until I remove it, it takes 6+ hrs to charge it the instructions says, its suppose to have a light (which I can't find) that is suppose to tell you which mode it's in but it only vibrates, which I surely don't need if I was to turn it on while someone was present. I can't get anything to read the sd card they sent. To be honest, for the money I spent on this trash I should have gotten wifi hookup but this particular product doesn't offer that. Soo, too long to charge, poorly assembled, a trash sd card and/or removable drive to read it, a sd card drive that way to easily allows the card to go past where it is suppose to set inside the drive so that it doesn't work, no wifi, and vibrations when turning on to use. (Without the light indicator) I don't know about their other products but judging by this product I won't take a chance on something else.

In October 2021 I purchased a "smoke detector" camera online from Spygeargadgets.com. It failed out of the box and after repeated attempts to make it work I attempted to contact Customer Support for assistance. After many, many, many attempts to reach them through various means they sent me an email stating that they were experiencing staffing and workflow issues related to COVID. They stated that assistance would be forthcoming. I never heard from them again. I am prepared to call Spygeargadgets.com a SCAM. If I could figure out how to pursue them further to make them the subject of a Consumer Affairs investigation I would. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR YOUR TIME ON THIS GHOST OF A COMPANY!

I returned the device as it did not fit my needs. I did return the item as per their Return Policy and did follow everything as requested from them. They send me a RMA which was valid for 3 days, and the item must be shipped back no later than 5/23/19 (see pic attached), which I did: delivered on 5/22/19 at 2:44 PM (see pic attached). I did send back the item via a method with trackable shipping such as USPS w/ Delivery Confirmation (Priority Mail 2-day Tracking number 9407 8036 9930 0044 3396 14). Since then I have sent numerous emails (around 8 emails) to *******@spygeargadgets.com and called *******848 and left about 5 voices messages with NO responses. The only reply received was on July 5th saying the following:_______

I have being left in the dark, with NO refund (over $400 - see pic attached), with NO responses, with nothing. Unfortunately they didn't leave me any option, but writing a bad review, because I don't know what else to do. I am extremely surprise this happened to me after seeing the high ratings/reviews for this company, which made me think if those reviews are real or not.
