I have made upwards of 15 investments, some of them are obviously crazy longshots a couple of them have paid out cash dividends at regular intervals. I think it's very important to know that these investments are very long term, not a year but many years. Some of them may never pay back, but there are (in my opinion) a few opportunities on the site that have the chance to turn out incredibly.

Don't make the investment if it is with money you will miss though.

I would start of by saying start engine is a boon for average investors who has historically not had an opportunity to invest in start ups. The platform is super intuitive and very easy to get started. I like the fact that all the due diligence of a company raising capital can be done from a single page instead of having to click on multiple links and navigate to different pages. The invest minimum being as low as few hundred dollars for most investment is a great advantage for a lot of investors who are getting started in this space. Its a great platform to build a long term portfolio in a variety of start ups and reap the benefit of early investing in the long run.

I managed to easily get refunds from investments I had made as well as the subscription fee I was not expecting. I am going to continue to explore Start Engine because there are mixed reviews about it and the concept is still a good one.

I started out a couple years ago investing in start ups with three other companys. They all three were not very good at communicating and to be honest i did not feel comfortable investing with them but i did a little until i found Start Eng. Since that day ive deleted every email from all the other guys and have only used St Eng. I really do believe in this concept can you just imagine with me for one min. What your bank roll would like if you could have invested even 500.00 in amazon or tesla when they first started! And ill bet my last dollar that St. Eng. I researched them all and IMO Start Engine is the best crowdfunding platform. Everything is laid out and easy to understand.You can get bonus shares and more and you can also invest in the platform itself. And it's backed by Mr.Wonderful so of course it's the best one!
