Our youngest was so excited when we ordered the geo-dome playset for him last week. But a week later I still hadn't seen/heard anything about the shipping estimate, not even a blurb about things being slow due to the virus. When I finally reached out to them to ask for some kind of a timeline, they canceled the order instead without a single word! My poor son is crestfallen and we've all wasted a week waiting for nothing.
I ordered a shed. There was no way to check the status of delivery.
It finally arrived two weeks later, late on a Friday evening in a rainstorm. The delivery man complained to my tenant, who has three children under the age of 5, tried to get her to help offload the 500lb pallet, then refused to put it inside my fence. He placed it in a public alley, where I would have received a fine.
I contacted StorageShedsOutlet and Jim said he would try to find someone to help get it out of the alley and/or would provide a rebate for what we would have to pay. Not only did he fail to find someone, but he then ignored every request for a week to give me the offered partial refund for failure to deliver. Finally, I filed a chargeback. He STILL didn't respond till AmEx found in my favor. Three weeks later, he said his parent company wants to sue me or charge 25% to take back the shed in its original palletized condition (which Jim told me to take apart so it could be moved by a non-professional).
Their site says they deliver large items where there is reasonable space (NOT curbside, as he's now trying to state). There was enough space for the truck in my alley, but the lazy delivery man wouldn't move it through a wide 3' gate, There were three months to resolve a service challenge, but StorageShedsOutlet failed.
I would NEVER do business with them again. You should not either, unless you'd like things delivered in public thoroughfares by lazy delivery men and/or to be ignored with legitimate customer service issues.
