I really appreciate the way Terry displays the instruments he sells through his store. You get to see up close and personal each instrument to choose from through the abundant videos and pictures presented, along with a mini review. He even names each instrument!
What you get is flexibility in choosing, eliminating any surprises.

This company will charge you full price for blemished ukulele's that other companies sell as "B" ukuleles for a discounted rate. This is a real problem for buyers online who don't get to inspect an item before buying. We rely on the seller to be forthright and fairly represent the sale. This company will not. Furthermore, they charge a setup fee for new instruments that otherwise do not need the work, once again relying on the fact that a buyer cannot see the instrument prior to buying. Bad, bad, practices by this company.

I am really enjoying my Kala Solid Maple Concert Cutaway Ukulele. It replaces my first ukulele and is a huge step up. It has a nice full sound. I received it in less than a week. Terry answers emails quickly, and easy to work with. I highly recommend his store, Uke Like The Pros.

The strings are great and came quickly. Most of all I enjoy the classes from Terry. He is a master teacher in every sense of the word! I Am learning so much and his style of teaching is perfect for me.

My 6 string Tiny Tenor arrived long past the expected date, due to forces beyond ULtP's control. But Terry was kind, reassuring and responsive throughout the process, and gave sound advice on pickup installation and setup. He also combined two of my orders, helping me to economize on shipping. The uke courses look very well done and helpful.

My first impression wasn't the best as I found it difficult to reach them by phone (although I had to admit it was a busy period following an event), I have thus decided to email them as well and the initial impression disappeared very quickly: what a great customer service! They've been very accommodating, ultra reactive and super friendly; I was impressed. To make things better the uke comes with some nice extras. On top of that they have such an extensive selection of ukes, from affordable to high end; only from the best manufacturers. Long story short, it is a go-to place to purchase a uke online.

I ordered a number of Worth strings and received a phone call about an inventory issue. In todays business world its unual to receive an actual call explaining the issue and fixing it immediately. The strings ship right away. Recently I purchased a new Uke. They also provided excellent customer service during that purchase. Highly recommend them.

These humidity packs both dehumidify and humidify depending on the need. They are easy to add to your instrument case and provide a safe, clean simple way to help insure your instrument investment is protected from too much or too little moisture. Easy to change out every few months as needed.

Site has good descriptions of the products, and often a video of the instrument being played. Prices are decent, and Uke Like the Pros has a great incentive to buy, which is the inclusion of one of their online courses in your purchase, which is fantastic. The ukelele was securlely packaged and received quickly. If I get "ukelele acquisition syndrome" like many others, I'll buy from here again.

I bought this case to hold my Shima ukulele. Fits perfectly. The case is a beautiful color and very well made. It's a great hard shell case. It arrived very quickly from Uke Like The Pros. I use them a lot for ukulele gear.

First purchase from ULTP was an excellent experience. Quick answers to my questions. Very impressed with way my uke was packed for shipment cross country. Also purchased a course and impressed with level of support. Thumbs up for Terry and his team.

When I first saw Romero Creations' Daniel Ho ST Concert ukulele I knew it would be just right for me. Having Terry check it out ahead of time and let me know it played and sounded great was much appreciated since where I live there is no option to see a bunch of ukes in a store. What appealed to me -- and is working out so well -- is the shape, size and sound of the ST Concert spruce top. I mainly play while sitting in a power wheelchair, and it just fits very well where my tenor is harder to play since, with the tenor, I have to put my left elbow on the armrest due to the length of the neck. My elbow gets really sore with tendonitis eventually. With the ST Concert my arm can be against my body. The sound of it is wonderful, loud enough and crisp (when my fingers don't fumble).

I received my Grand Tenor Uke and instantly fell in love with it. I've been a life long musician but have never played a string instrument. The Uke is a great intro to strings but the sound can be a barrier. Looking for a fuller, deeper sound with a broader range? This is a great instrument.

I ordered a free guitarlele book and due to the fact I do not live in the US, the systeem came up with a USD 55 transport costs. This was a littel too much for me and Terry was so kind to send it to me with no extra charges. Really very good service. Thank you.

I purchased a guitarlele on a bundle deal which clearly states that it would include a strap. It does not, comes with a $#*!ty tuner and some tab sheets printed off from google probably. The instrument itself is amazing but that's not something to praise the site for. Great job not $#*!ing the instrument up? I don't understand.
Customer service sounds like they hate talking to you about any questions you might have, very blunt, and standoff-ish responses. Shipping is ridiculously expensive. Explain to me why it costs 35$ to ship from Cali when the manufacturer will send it to me for free? They even advertise free shipping on some forms of social media, then when you get to checkout its not even an option. The cheapest option is 25$, what the actual $#*!.
They probably have their $#*! together better when a pandemic is not going on and the customization is a nice feature to have. Overall they seem to just be a bit out of sync, the guy told me he'd "mixed up the shipping labels on my order lol". Yeah that's not $#*!ing funny dude, I don't care if you're working from home, work properly or don't work.
Be advised, they won't respond to the chat now feature often and even if you text them they'll respond a couple of times and then ignore you.

I recently purchased a Kala U-Bass from ukelikethepros store. This is the 3rd instrument I've purchased from Terry at ukelikethepros. I love the U-Bass. And of course Terry is awesome to work with. It came with another uke I purchased, a long-necked concert from Koaloha. They were shipped with loving care and came perfectly packed. Love both instruments and I recommend ukelikethepros. Terry will take care of you.

Excellent course and so is the book. Terry Carter is a really good teacher. I am also doing the online boot camp and Mastering the ukulele courses. All are enjoyable and absolutely brilliant value.

Last year I bought a KoAloha Tenor Ukulele from Uke Like the Pros and the service and advice rendered to me by Uke like the Pros really impressed. The Uke arrived in South Africa very securely and safely packed and the service as well as the personal interaction was indeed excellent.

This was my third ukulele purchased from Uke like the Pros, service is remarkable and they aim to please their customers. Delivery was as promised for ground shipping, I knew it would take at least 7 days to arrive to Michigan from California that's the only draw back - but this store was the only place that I found with remarkable affordable prices for high quality ukuleles. Now on to the KoAloha KoAlana ukulele... the ukulele is beautiful, but because of the d'Addario titanium strings the sound was disappointing for me - I immediately changed them out with a wound low G and Martin fluorocarbon strings and now it sounds 110% better, new strings are still settling and I'm still stretching them but should be holding tune in a week. Now it has the warmer sound I'm used to playing - is it as good as my Romero's - hmmm No but it will make a good travel ukulele.

I am so in love with ukelikethepros. The book is very clear. I am sure I need to learn a lot more since I am a new amd I know I will become a good musician. Thanks Terry and the team.
