I ordered a phone over a week ago, come to find out they had me purchase a phone they don't even have in stock, won't send me any confirm emails after they took my money out of my account, I have been a loyal customer, this would be my 3rd phone purchase I have never had these kind of problems not sure if management changed, but every time I call I get hung up a quick 20 minutes phone call turns in to hour, these people robbed me and I will be pressing charges DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY
I had tried to Port my number to this company from Assurance Wireless that was the biggest mistake I've done in my life when it comes to cell phone service.
I get government assistance so I don't have that much money to begin with they made me buy a SIM card from Walmart. Took them over two weeks to Port my number then they said I have to pay every month even though I have informed them and they know that my number is being ported under lifeline. After countless hours of being on hold and speaking to people that hardly speak English which I'm okay with that as long as the job gets done after 3 weeks they finally told me that everything is good just to wake up this morning and find my phone not working. I called customer service. And requested to speak to supervisor the answer was no no supervisor will talk to you (I wish I had recorded this call)
Fast forward 4 hours later I called FCC and filed a complain.
20 minutes ago my phone started working to make a long story short I will never recommend or use his company ever again.
Do yourself a favor do not deal with this company not unless you like to be on hold for 40 minutes at the time
I am so fed up with straight talk when I go on Facebook even I have to sit there and wait and wait for everything to buffer I can't watch a simple video cuz everything's got the buffer and I'm paying for high speed internet through my phone service I'm going to start looking for another phone provider because I've complained the straight talk before and it's just past the buck they don't care oh we'll sell you another phone they showed me about four so far I believe so I'm done with straight talk I advise anybody to run
I recently bought a service plan for my 84 year old mother. I made this purchase over the phone. The next day I noticed my bank account had been charged twice for the same transaction. So I called customer service. While explaining my issue, I got disconnected, or hung up on. So I called back and got a different agent. By the way, they barely speak English. I went through the explanation of my issue again. The agent told me she needed to send a verification code to the phone. I explained it was my mother's phone and I didn't have it with me. She insisted that was the only way to get this issue resolved. So I hung up, drove to my mother's house, picked up her phone, and called CS again. After going through all the steps, I was finally transferred to someone higher up to talk about getting a refund. But guess what, they hung up on me again! I went through three phone calls, wasting gas going to my mother's house, and I'm still out $36, including tax. I've had Straight Talk for years, and I've never had any problems until this. I don't know what's wrong with them, but I'm likely going to switch to another carrier.

I've had straighttalk for years and my service and pricing can't be beat BUT when it comes to winning any kind of rewards I give them a zero out of zero it's totally terrible and I don't do any of social media so I believe it also has a negative affect
Had service for years and when service did not work away from home I wanted to take my number after 3 days and a tech from AT&T trying to help me move my number nothing worked. I have been in tears at least 4 times now talking with the customer service here. They ripped me off for $126.40. They ask for my info. And transfer me several times and then just hang up on me.
I been with Straight Talk for over 10 years, and its went to pot, they tell me an AT&T sim card is not compatible with an AT&T phone, so get a Verizon one, I did, put it in, worked a few days and quit, now telling me to get a T mobile sim, just done with them and going back to a contract phone...
I have been with straight talk for years. I recently bought a new phone from Wal-Mart which is a straight talk phone and my data was awesome with the other phone but this new phone is bull$#*!. I have had to call EVERY month because my data has been eaten up in just a week and I close all my aps, haven't been watching videos on YouTube, and haven't been playing any games or listening to any music. I've spoken to at least 11 people at straight talk and nobody can explain why my data is being burnt up. I've also had nothing but attitude with ever straight talk rep I've talked to. Straight talk is nothing but a scam and trying to steal money from you. I use my bank card one time and told them I didn't want it saved well guess what I was going to switch my phone to a different service with the same number and guess what this phone rang and was supposed to be needing a refill and I didn't but they saved my bank info anyways and refilled it anyway themselves yes I called and snapped on them. Straight is nothing but a rip off and its not true when they say 45 unlimited per month. Best to go to Verizon or somewhere else or at least Americans where you can understand them.
I NEVER have service or data anywhere I go. Even after just putting the card on, it says LTE but nothing ever loads. Do NOT recommend. I'm very tired of paying for phone service that never works.

Someone stole my catch up card and paid their straight talk bill straight talk or not talk to me or refund the money or no customer service unless I have a phone number I do not have the phone number through state talk so how am I supposed to get my money back when no one will talk to me because I do not have a straight talk number. I've tried customer service through email I've tried to send them a letter I've tried to call obviously but there's no response cash up refuses to contact them I'm supposed to do all the work I've done all the work I can do they're still not refunding my money
I have been trying to activate the BYOP sim activation kit for a few hours now, but it keeps telling me that an error has occurred. I have been on the phone helpdesk with Straight Talk 4 times now, and they were all unable to help me. The first representative told me to call back in 4 hours and mention the ticket number of the ticket that he raised, which I did. (Ticketnumber: *******473)
So I called and then spoke to a representative again, but he was unable to fulfil my request as he did not seem to speak English very well (just following script on screen).
The third representative that I spoke to, either hung up on me or the connection was somehow lost (which is weird since my internet connection is stable).
The fourth representative tried his best to help me and forwarded my call to the "Higher" department, which seemed to be a native English speaking representative. I explained the situation and had to, once again, provide all the information. Then again, the connection with this representative got lost again, so no progress at all, except for my time being wasted.
And the best part for last. I tried to activate the SIM card one last time online, and it now shows that this SIM is "inactive". Biggest scam ever. Do not buy anything from this company if this is how they treat their customers.
I purchased a iphone SE 2 generation phone from straight talk website and no one from straight talk customer service would help me activated the iphone very disappointed with Straight Talk and the iphone SE 2 was a Birthday gift.

First off I am a 100% disabled American military combat veteran. I was notified by straight talk I needed to upgrade my phone so as not to lose svc. I bought a refurbished phone from straight talk for 105$. Upon receiving the phone it wouldn't make calls or access the Internet. I was told activation may take some time which was a stall tactic. I was able to use the hotspot for a few days and link Wi-Fi to my old phone and use it internet wise. Then my hotspot wouldn't work either. Phone still not activated I called straight talk at a minimum 7 or 8 times everyone I asked for a refund they said they wanted to trouble shoot first then they would say we're going to transfer you to "higher customer svc". Then I'd get the dial tone. After spending hours trying to fix the phone. They did this until the time ran out to replace the phone. I called to get my svc refunded 57.93$ but straight talk said since I was able to get hotspot for a couple days they wouldn't refund anything. All I wanted was a little bit of understanding and help. That money would help me get svc on another network and be able to contact VA for my doctors appointments, but they wouldn't help.
There 98$ warranty is a joke! My phone got stuck on airplane mode so I contacted straight talk, they sent me a shipping label so I sent them my phone. They then said it didn't qualify for the warranty (supposed to cover anything) they won't send my phone back and they won't send me a new one. DON'T USE STRAIGHT TALK! YOU'LL REGRET IT!
Worst phone company on the market. Customer service is almost non existent and if you are able to reach them they're rude, and none of them are American and are hard to understand. Iwireless has exceptional costumer service and unlimited data is truely unlimited even if you go past 20 GB.DON'T WASTE TIME AND MONEY WITH STRAIGHT TALK. Consider yourselves forewarned.
Answer: Cheaper than ATT for a landline. I never thought of the problems I am having trying to get service started. I don't know how they stay in business considering the gift fact that Verizon owns them.
Answer: I've been pretty consistently able to get a hold of them. As far as them being helpful not at all.
