I've ordered off this site a number of times, both small and large orders and have always recieved my orders.
I don't mind waiting 2-3 weeks for my orders as I'm in Australia and they usually arrive earlier than I expect anyway.
There have been a few times when an item I've been after isn't available, but they offer to email you when the item's back in stock (I got one of those emails a few days ago).

The only negative thing I've experienced is a TY beanie Lion I ordered didn't look as neat as the picture and has a blue logo button on it not shown in the preview image; though that is more likely a fault in TY's manufacturing more than Stuffed Safari's, my fiance adopted the lion as his own anyway when I didn't want it so it worked out in the end!

I'm actually planning on making another order from the site at the moment, I don't understand why there are so many negative reviews on here.

I love using this site. :)

I ordered an animal for my girlfriends birthday on in the beginning of June. I recieved an email saying it was out of stock and it would ship when it got back in. It could be up to a week and a half delayed, but now its been two weeks and still haven't gotten an email saying it was shipped or recieved the product.

I ordered a stuffed animal for Valentine's Day. It got delayed for weeks and then I called the place and they told me it would be here the next week. I would be able to give it to my girlfriend for her birthday, but then it got delayed again. Two day shipping is turning into three weeks and counting. It is turning into a hassle trying to e-mail and call to figure out when it is going to get here.

Ordered 2 stuffed animals for my niece on the 1/2/14 and as of today the items haven't arrived. I contacted the company on several occasions regarding the whereabouts of the items, and all they do is blame customs or Australia Post as to where the items are.

I have asked 5 times for a refund as the items are clearly lost and they are REFUSING to refund me until they get the missing items back (if they do turn up). If they do get them back all they are going to do is refund the cost of the stuffed toys and not refund me the cost of the postage as well.

At this rate I will have to go and get my refund from my bank as they clearly don't want to refund me. Their customer service is non existent, they certainly don't want to keep their customers happy

They sent the wrong item which meant I would not have it on time for the baby shower gift. I emailed to let them know that I would like a refund. Printed the return label as requested in their email responsesnd madexa trip to the post office to send it back. Instead of a refund as promised, they sent the item I originally ordered which is now useless. When I emailed again, they just ignored it. They've earned all the bad reviews.

Cute, Great value, Fast!

I had read some negitive reviews so I was a little hesitant to oeder, but the price was so good I thought I would give them a try. My family's dog passed away on a Thursday, that night I ordered 4 small stuffed German shepherds with bandanas personalized with her name. Based on the reviews and the added personalization I thought it would be weeks before they arrived. They came on Monday! That is faster than Amazon! The dogs are also adorable. For the people who did have to wait, I guess I would rather wait for a real human to pack my order than to give the job to a robot. I also noticed most bad reviews are at least 5 years old.

I was hesitant at first to buy from this site. I read some reviews and they were about 50% positive and 50% negative. I decided to take the chance, and I couldn't be happier. I bought the cutest sloth plush on Sunday, July 3rd and it arrived at my doorstep Thursday, July 7th! I am amazed. Even with a holiday in the mix, it came SO quickly. The plush itself is SO cute, soft, and high quality! I recommend this site.

Dont bother

I placed my order on february 12th. Today is now march 3rd and still have yet to receive anything. Ive called customer service 3 times and recieved 3 different answers. Ive become so fed up i cancelled my order. Not one time did they offer another item nor a discount for all the inconveince. Buyer beware

Nothing unavailable is listed as "out of stock." Use amazon, or anything else besides this terrible website.

This is what I got from stuffedsafari.com:

"Your order is backstocked" now why wasn't that listed on the SITE?
"It will ship within a week..."
Two weeks later: "it will ship the first of next week..."
The day after that: "it will ship later today..."
Next day: NOT SHIPPED

I was thrilled to find Stuffed Safari! I had never heard of it, so was a bit leery. I needn't have been! OMG! The selection is huge, my grand nephew's "Kitty Gillis" (he's 4 years old, I've no idea what the "Gillis" is all about) is absolutely perfect, and I received it quickly. I'm about to place another order animal for my grand nephew due in July. I agree with the reviewer who implied that many of the poor reviews were written by folks who had unrealistic expectations of perfection from the post office (really?), and no tolerance for items out of stock. You cannot expect an item ordered a couple of weeks before Christmas to arrive conveniently and magically as if Santa isn't already overloaded. And to the reviewer who wrote in all caps: REALLY? THE CUSTOMER SUPPORT LADY HUNG UP ON YOU? Stuffed Safari is a gem.

Terrible experience

Terrible experience. I was assured that an item would arrive in time for my son's birthday, and then informed less than 2 business days before his birthday that it was not available. (So no time to order elsewhere without paying exorbitant overnight shipping.) The second item I ordered was in stock but not shipped, and by then it would have arrived after his birthday. No acknowledgement whatsoever of the problem from Stuffed Safari, despite my repeating the situation over the phone and then sending a polite but dissatisfied email. I understand that maybe items get discontinued, but 1. Don't assure someone that an item will arrive on time if you have not verified that this is possible, 2. If for some reason beyond your control an item is not available, give the customer adequate notice to order elsewhere, 3. If none of the above are possible and you can't deliver a child's birthday gift on time, give a genuine apology and make some attempt to remedy the situation, *before* the negative review!

You suck you suck you suck. I am scared that I am being ripped off. I ordered a life-sized stuffed harp seal and it's been a month and a half, and I still haven't gotten it yet. I honestly think I should get my money back or at least a discount for this extreme delay. I honestly don't care if you're a "Christian family." I come from a Muslim family, but you don't see me using that as a defense against my faults. WHERE'S MY HARP SEAL!

Winshape Animals
July 2, 2015

My friends are at winshape camps this summer, so as a coming home gift I got them their group's animal. I also had a customized bandanna with their animal's "Tribe" on it. I ordered this on a SUNDAY NIGHT, it was delivered by Thursday at LUNCH! I am so glad I went with my own opinion and not those of most of the ones HERE. I don't know how people had problems, but I had an amazing experience! I will definitely order from this business in the future.

SPOKE OVER ME, INSISTED EMAILS WERE SENT WHEN THEY WERE NOT, TOLD ME I WAS "BARKING UP THE WRONG TREE" AND WHEN I CALLED HER OUT ON ALL OF THOSE ITEMS, SHE HUNG UP ON ME! REAL PROFESSIONAL! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY, I AM PERSONALLY GOING AROUND TO EACH REVIEW SITE WITH THIS MESSAGE. CAN'T BELIEVE THEY ARE IN BUSINESS... IT WON'T LAST MUCH LONGER. Hello, my name is James, and I work in healthcare - sorta. I am a Security Officer for a group of hospitals in my city and I recently purchased a large(r) order of stuffed animals from this company.

First, I want to acknowledge that their customer service is handled efficiently, with impressive response times to inquiries (for any business' standards). They even utilize a customer service "ticket" system - which is very smart, no matter the business size.

Now, onto the purchase. Because I was buying these out of my own pocket, I could only afford a limited amount, so I chose many of their cheapest (and smallest) options. I have no complaints about this because I figured there would be limited availability for the cheaper ones. Actually, I have no complaints at all. So, I bought everything they had under $6 - basically. Because so many of the ones I wanted were either out of stock or limited stock, I ended up buying less quantity due to cost of the more expensive toys. Still, I was able to get 70 stuffed animals for a little over $350, which I was hoping would be a good deal.

When they arrived, I was not disappointed! They were incredibly soft, well-stuffed, cuddly and adorable! I also bought about a dozen of their Unicorn Hats, and I HIGHLY recommend them - insanely soft and the kids absolutely LOVE them. The only ones that aren't particularly popular are the Toucans, and I will admit, they are (by comparison) less cute than the other options available for the kids.

Pros:
Quality products - even the cheapest options
Great customer service
Professional business approach
Value for money (including free shipping after a large enough purchase to qualify)
Bulk Purchase Discounts

Con:
Availability was a bit discouraging as I saw the cheapest options quickly disappearing and more expensive options cutting into my budget. This is not necessarily a reflection on the company, as it could have just been the timing of my order (right before Easter), but it is only transparent that I mention it.
