As a big fan of online shopping I have dealt with many different companies in my lifetime. The universal Store, Culture Kings, Roxy Australia and Myer to name a few. These companies were all able to process refunds within five days.
I have been waiting five weeks for my refund from sunglass hut.
They sent me out a replacement item after I clearly selected refund on the form. I had to return the item for a second time, even after contacting customer support and getting the shipment changed for it to be sent directly to their warehouse. They made me wait again, for them to receive an item I never asked for or even had in my possession. It's been received weeks ago yet I am still waiting.
Will never shop with then again. Terrible quality Chinese products, even worse customer service.
I just recently made my 4th purchase of Ray-bans from the store mentioned. The lady that helped me was amazing as usual. I was told of the sales going on without any pressure to buy more then I was there for.
For those complaining of fakes...they have multiple outlets world wide, better yet, go purchase in store. All Raybans I've bought from the store say Italy on the frame.
Not sure why I bother to write this review. If I had known in advance their commitment to poor service, I never would have entered the store. Glasses came apart after two days. After a lot of double talk at the store, they offered to solve my problem for another $86. Wrote corporate upon my return home, and they tell me the airport store I bought the glasses from is a franchise and they operate on their own. Don't buy anything from these stores. They're great at sales, but the buck stops there. I feel the glasses I bought were defective. They offered zero assistance.

Friday July 2nd we came into the Robson store just to browse around, and two hours later and over $1,000 later, we had left with the most comfortable & flattering pair of sunglasses we purchased.
Chantal, the sales associate who attended to us was phenomenal. She was patient, friendly, patient, attentive, patient, full of suggestions of our preference in style, patient, professional, and did I mention patient?!
This type of service is definitely hard to find these day's especially in retail.
That location is so lucky to have Chantal working there. To anyone looking to purchase new sunglasses, we highly suggest the Robson location and see Chantal to help you find that pair of SG you've been searching for. I gave it a 4 star because they didn't have A brand new pair of the Gucci sunglasses I purchased so I had purchased the one on display and they would not further discount it as a display model.
I needed a new pair of sunglasses so headed to these glass Hut near me. Kyle waited on me, helped me make my choice, talked me in to two pairs instead of the one pair I was going to buy and cleaned the glasses. Great service!
Happy we walked in whilst shopping at Heritage Quay. Edna, our CSR, was not only personable, informed of their products but took a look at my partner and I, walked to the back and brought out the perfect sunglasses to suit us. I had no intention of purchasing a pair but I happily did & Edna got us out of our comfort zone & they were the best purchases. Thank you Edna for also a fun experience!
Went to Sunglass Hut in Lutz, FL on Grand Cypress. I had lost a lens screw from Ray-Bans that are about two years old. She worked and worked trying to find just the right size. Sold my husband and I two new pair with a discount on the second. She was friendly, attentive and helpful. So nice to have a pleasant experience today. You are awesome Haylie! Thank you.
Live in Myrtle Beach S.C. We have various locations here. We visited one location at Broadway at the Beach. Highway 17 Bypass. Middle of the day and no one was there for over 2 hours. Lights on and an out to lunch sign on door? Pissed customer.
Next day we visited Sun Glass Hut at Barefoot Landing, Highway 17 business.
We had the best salesman. Antonio Aurelia. So helpful and conscientious. Very patient. Offered the choice to order a new pair online for same price and very quick delivery.
Of course we did. This young man needs to be rewarded for excellent service.
It is so hard to find young people with such a calming manner and so courteous. I wanted to commend him but this is the only place I can find to do so.
Worst customer service ever. It is not that they are not respectful, no. They do not know what they are doing. Very bad communication skills. No knowledge about product and system updates such as shipping address etc. I will never consider buying from them again. If I could give zero stars I would have done so.
Brought two pairs of sunglasses and simply didn't like the one pair so tried to return immediately. The automated online system sends you a label that doesn't work, I tried different hardware and software to open but nothing. The contact number they send you for returns on the email doesn't work! I then found a contact number through their website which I've range multiple times just to be hung up on! So now I've £140.00 pair of glasses I do not want! I'm sure they is all a ploy / scam! Be very aware before you order.
Ordered a pair of sunglasses over a month ago and they still haven't arrived. After numerous calls and emails back and forth wasting everyone's time finally I was informed they were shipped from Italy to the UK, then from the UK over to Cologne. I live in Ireland. Worst. Service. Ever.
If your order is wrong don't count on them making it right or returning your money timely. Worst company I have ever dealt with as far as returns. Horrible customer service and no care from management. Seems to be a theme from other reviews I am seeing. Spend your money with a company that cares.
Definitely would not recommend sunglasses hut, have a $180 gift voucher- has not expired, tried to use it and it has no $ on it, customer service are useless, I have to keep ringing them up every week for last 3 weeks, they still can't explain why this has happened? And don't seem keen to put $ on card.
I have never heard of a store employee being more concerned with a sale then being written up for helping out a customer. That is their motto. Why Ray Ban does any business with them is beyond me. Then they tried to give me a 30% discount as if I would ever buy from them again.

I wore them one time and was told they are not eligible for a return after cleaning glasses for 10 Minutes she said there was a scratch that I can't see and I had no options. I bought an item online that I never received any type of information about my order I had to call to be sent a confirmation number of my order and when the package arrived the box was completely empty I sent them all the proofs and I never received any kind of help with my problem their customer service by phone is terrible especially Melissa doesn't know how to treat a customer

Having purchased some expensive sun glasses in Mahón airport I was told I would receive a partial refund to my credit card! This never happened and I have contacted them many times but they just ignore my emails!
What a pathetic customer service!
Their website doesn't function properly. I am logged in using my account and when i checkout, it again asks me to register and i do enter email it gives error saying account exists which make sense. But how senseless is the website. It wont even let me fix it

I ordered sunglasses and within a minite of ordering, I realized I wanted to cancel. 2 weeks later I sent them back - There is no "cancel" after placing an order. You have to wait 2 business days for a phone or email response, i had to wait for "approval" to return, they sent me a label that looked like computer programming code - and finally an actual label (after reaching out about the non-label i received and waiting 2 days). TO apologize for the inconveniences they gave me a 30% off coupon - that only applies to limited merchandise. NO THANKS! I would have fired someone who was incompetent at every turn - so that's what I did.
Very Bad service, Promised the customer to help them out to redeem the gift card because it was their fault that their site not accepting gift cards option. Called them back, cant keep their promise. Very bad customer service. Please don't believe in their words. Make sure to have them write down who you spoke with and what they promise you before they hang up the phone.
