The dresses look tempting, the promise of a custom made to order dress at prices substantially lower than you would usually get in a reputable shop is almost too good to be true.
After ordering a generic sized dress, I was expecting to be contacted to get my exact measurements, but no, after a few unanswered emails to my surprise a dress is delivered. As expected it doesnt fit and emails to sunvary go unanswered. Calling a UK based phone number only gets you an answering machine.
Only after escalating a claim via paypal did sunvary finally make contact, which consisted of saying you have a custom made dress to your measurements no returns.
Interestingly their own website claims that returns are possible when the dress doesnt fit.
Paypal as usual were totally useless in helping to resolve the issue.
Their mode of operandi is to hid behind the 'custom made' claim thereby negating the ability to obtain a refund via paypal, and the EU distance selling regulations.
The dress was not custom made.
