I'm honestly baffled by the negative reviews. I received my order very promptly and it was packaged very nicely. Four boxes of goodies for less than $65 including shipping! I really don't know how you could have a problem with that. The petit fours are wonderful.
I placed an order with my account with Swiss Colony and the recipient didn't get it, they delivered to someone else and then after hours of being on hold it finally gets sorted out and my recipient gets the product. Fast forward 30 days and the recipient gets a bill instead of me. Very embarrassing. After another 2 hours making phone calls each person sends to another each telling something different like Brandon said I had to get a letter notarized stating the matter but finally I got someone with some common since and fixed it while we were on the phone. I was thankful for that hopefully she is correct in saying that. I then ask how they would compensate me for all the frustration and she said she could take off $9.56. WOW! This is a money hungry company not in the business of good customer service. I will now tear up my Credit Card to never use again and tell everyone I know.
In Dec. 2023 I placed an order totaling <$125 and paid with my CC. 2 days later they had added a bogus charge to my CC which they credited upon my call to them. Now they say I owe them for the bogus charge which I refused and they have turned it over to a debt collection company which I will fight. DISHONEST CUSTOMER SERVICE & COMPANY.

The quality is ok for the hard cheeses, the processed cheeses are grainy now. Large sampler for a fair price. Free shipping items can be found in two places in the book, and both come out to about same price, so customer still pays shipping on "free shipping" items.

There are way to many companies to order from, so skip this one. Ordered on the 10th of Dec 23, at night. Then tried to cancel the next morning. No answer on phones or email. When I did get someone to answer the phone 8 hours and 11 attempts later, I was told I could not cancel. Nothing in my order required refrigeration or freezing, Yet I was told it was pre-staged in a refrigerated truck located by the post office the night I ordered it. Impressive for a company that I was told on the phone that know one was in or answering from that department. They credited my card 10 days later for the product after much complaining. I mean much complaining, but did not credit the shipping charges which where half the cost. They also did not send the two free gifts advertised for ordering. Order from somewhere that still has customer service. To make it all worse, they did not ship the item until 6 days later. Worse experience ordering to date. Buyer be warned.

Placed order on 12/12/2022 to deliver by Christmas. It was delivered on 1/3/2023. It took two and a half weeks to deliver something only about 100 miles away. I am disgusted beyond words. I used them for over 20 years and they got progressively worth. Every year there is an issue. This tome, it's a final straw.

I only ever oder from them at Christmas time. I paid my bill off in April. The order I put in this time was for about $60. I check my order status and it says I owe over $300. Call and they can t explain it. The weekend customer service is a joke. Can't explain it to me. Can't cancel my order or my card so this crap doesn't happen again. I am not paying their bull$#*! charge except for this order. My recommendation is don't ever use them.

I ordered a large box of petit fors for my mom for Christmas. When she opened it there were ants all over it. This was in a gift box, plastic wrapped then an outside cardboard box which was refrigerated for 2 weeks. These ants must've been there before they shipped it! On top of that it's not worth $27.00 for shipping. Never again.
Don't order from this company. They have ruined my orders for holidays where I placed my order way in advance only to get them cancelled or out of stock. They claim credit card issues which checking with my credit card companies is untrue. They don't send an email or post on the order under my account except with "order in process" which is untrue. Used to be a family tradition for years until now. Not worth it.

I ordered from The Swiss Colony and was suppose to receive 2 additional items. I never received them. I called and they gave me a runaround and finally said they could not help me because they were out of that product and would not substitute another product. Rude and unhelpful. Expensive for the lack of quality of product. Do not shop with this company!
We ordered, for the first time, from Swiss Colony. They charged an outrageous amount (almost 50% of the cost of the products) for shipping. We assumed (foolishly) that would equate to stellar delivery. It was (and still is) the exact opposite. For the first 5 days we received NO updates. When we inquired, Swiss Colony told us it would arrive "tomorrow". Tomorrow came and went, as well as many other "tomorrows" that were promised. Our order still has not arrived. Yesterday we found out, after pressuring Fed Ex, their delivery service, that Swiss Colony uses "GROUND, ECONOMY SHIPPING" and they literally have no idea when our product will arrive. ("Delivery date is pending. No updates available.") We contacted Customer Service multiple times and only received canned responses and false promises. What a horrific experience it has been. Our advice: do not purchase from this company.
I placed a order for a aunt who lives in Virginia the order was delivered to my house in Michigan. When I called to let them know they proceeded to tell me it was my fault and that there was nothing they could do for me.

Delivers wrong selection to people, delays is shipping, makes mistakes in billing then blames computer but still sends out fraudulent statements. Call Swiss Colony if you want to hear excuses but no problem solving. After 15 years as a customer, enough was enough. Sent me a collection notice on items paid before they were even invoiced, claimed computer error, but still wanted the $10 late fee.

I called customers service to place my 9 orders for Christmas gift. Give all the information then find out it said thank you. Not grandma or mom. It was sad to buy something from a company being my first time.
Ordered items that needed to be refrigerated. Supposedly shipped by Fedex. They transferred to post office on Saturday and they sat just in plastic wrapped until Monday and were finally delivered at 3:00 pm. Over 50 hours of no refrigeration! Cheesecakes are basically soup and definitely will never order from this company again! Also 39.99 for a cheesecake about the size of a cake for two people! I'll be getting mine from someplace else in the future. This is a rip-off for sure
Let me preface this by saying that Swiss Colony used to be a decent company. I used to look forward to getting their products every Christmas. I stopped using them about 7 years ago due to poor customer service, but decided to give them a another chance this year. Big mistake. Huge. Ginormous. I entered my billing information & then entered the address of where the package needed to go & I received an email that says it's going to the billing address. I call the company & am told there's nothing they can do. Is it too expensive to hire quality web designers & service reps? If so, RIP Swiss Colony. I don't see you lasting much longer.
I was so excited to send a gift from my Wisconsin to family and friends, thank my good sense to try it first. The hard candy is beautifully wrapped, pricey and tastes like the wrapper. The chocolates are really pretty and tasteless. The petifours are dull, dry and crumbly. I spent nearly $100.00 on absolute trash. To be clear, I rarely leave reviews.not this time.
Why do they give the delivery option for a specific day if they cannot fulfill it? I don't usually write bad reviews but when you place an order early and pay a lot in shipping so that they arrive on a specific date and damage the event and make a bad impression on the customer, it's time to let them know that there are many other companies that offer similar services. And with a better customer service. DO NOT use it, my mistake in not checking these reviews beforehand.

Made an order once I put the order they were out of stock when the items still show as available in their catalog have been trying to get a refund now for 2 weeks and the stories and run arounds why they have not credit my refund seem to be just excuses not to refund my money this compamy its a scam don't buy from them.

I have been shopping with Swiss Colony for 2 years now last year did not have no problems. Everything was great. So I decided to go with them again for Christmas gifts found out I had over a $1,100 credit and then only ordered about $800 worth of stuff but when I went to check out its stated I need to put half down on it when I didn't even need to last year. Mine and my fiance's credit has went up dramatic! I do not have 400 to just shell out that's why I chose to do the payment plan. I asked them why it's happening now like this and they could not answer me. They have just lost my business because I could have had that paid off within 6 months. I guess go to another platform.
Ordered 4 Easter baskets 4/1 to arrive by 4/12. They never arrived. Swiss Colony told me to donate baskets after removing perishable foods. You mean the basket and stuffing? Nice, except they never arrived! Idiots! I asked them to file a claim with FedEx but they refuse. Horrible company.
I have you Swiss colony a couple of times and been very disappointed! Not only is the cheese and sausages just the same thing you can get at the grocery store, but they also charge over $20 for shipping! A real rip-off! I will not buy from them again!
