I'm honestly baffled by the negative reviews. I received my order very promptly and it was packaged very nicely. Four boxes of goodies for less than $65 including shipping! I really don't know how you could have a problem with that. The petit fours are wonderful.
I placed an order with my account with Swiss Colony and the recipient didn't get it, they delivered to someone else and then after hours of being on hold it finally gets sorted out and my recipient gets the product. Fast forward 30 days and the recipient gets a bill instead of me. Very embarrassing. After another 2 hours making phone calls each person sends to another each telling something different like Brandon said I had to get a letter notarized stating the matter but finally I got someone with some common since and fixed it while we were on the phone. I was thankful for that hopefully she is correct in saying that. I then ask how they would compensate me for all the frustration and she said she could take off $9.56. WOW! This is a money hungry company not in the business of good customer service. I will now tear up my Credit Card to never use again and tell everyone I know.
Decided this would be a great gift idea. Ordered for 2 people and had a bonus coupon. They attached the coupon (a large box of chocolates) to my first order which was going to a severely overweight, diabetic individual. 3 emails and 2 calls later assuring me it was changed, it wasn't! Also no note was attached so they didn't know where it came from even though I attached one to the order. Hope their food is better!

Been a customer for over 10 years and it's constantly getting worse. Spent about 2 hours trying to correct their mistake to which I don't really know if it was corrected when I checked email nothing had changed, so I'll be forced to pay yet another shipping fee to make sure my grandkids get it. At 67 I don't need to get extra aggravation and chest pains dealing with their mistake. This will be the last time I order anything from them or their sister company Montgomery Ward's. They're really overpriced and now they're not even capable of getting an order right. I am so done with these guys, I can get the same things at any store I just don't get around very well due to health issues but I have no choice anymore. Good bye from an ex loyal consumer
I order from here every Christmas and on some occasions like when my husbands aunt had surgery the other day. We've always been impressed with what we receive and great prices, but delivery is a little slower than any other place I shop online.

Oddly enough, the little bits if food are tasty. The product is basically miniatures. Their shipping costs are very high. Pricey for what you get. We now buy the same (larger) items from the grocery store, and put our own assortment together for less money.
This was my first purchase from this company as I heard good things about it from friends. I placed an order for ONE item with a 20% promo code and free shipping sitewide. My order total was $25.59 once I finalized it. I received an Order Acknowledgement email with a billing total of $50.58. I never agreed to pay that price. I emailed and tried calling to cancel but no response. The consumer has 24 hours to cancel, which I did way before that time frame.
UPDATE: customer service issued a refund...will see if I actually get it
I received some SC as a gift. I would never tell the sender that I didn't enjoy it, but just one look at the ingredients, and away it went. I was sent the wild game sticks, they actually have a tiny bit of the game that they're labeled for, but mostly it's beef and pork and corn syrup and other fillers. You could actually call them "cancer sticks". I guess they're going by "if you add enough sweetener to it, any crap will taste good".
I have paid my bill in full and Swiss Colony continues to charge me a Late fee and interest charge every month. When I try to call the machine says no one is available. So far they have charged me $150.00 on top of the $250.00 I purchased. How do I get off their list?

I remember the Petits Fours from my childhood. They were always a big treat around this time of year. My grandfather always got a box. Fast forward 45 years. I was so excited when we got our osder This was the first time buying from Swiss Colony and not impressed at all. Maybe it is because they were in the refrigerator but very dry and not at all what I remember. Gonna keep the box out and try another. Hoping for improvement don't want to give my family something they wont enjoy...

I ordered Christmas gifts last year, and paid the bill in full on time. Trying to place a new order from a new catalog they sent, and am being refused credit, even though they show I have $400 limit and account is in good standing. Guess they do not want my business.
Very disappointed. I ordered a Christmas gift thinking there is still plenty of time for delivery but items were shipped from state to state and now it won't be delivered until after Christmas! Not ordering from them again and shipping was expensive. Not worth it.
I ordered some Swiss Colony treats for Christmas. They arrived timely, well packaged, very fresh and as a complete surprise, my credit rating increased because of their consistent, positive reporting on my credit reports.

Placed a Christmas gift order and paid extra for expedited shipping. To have been delivered on 12/23. On 12/21 I went to check on my order to find that it had not been shipped with a note saying "A letter was sent to you on 12/20" A letter? No email, no phone call, nothing. Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Will never do business with them again.
If there was an option for zero stars, I would click it! This is hands down the worst company I have ever made the mistake of ordering from! I will NEVER use them again for any of my holiday needs. First their workforce has zero skills to make changes in their system. Second you are outsourced almost every time. Third, I was so fed up with trying to add in another address location to a promo item and I was informed it can't be done. Then I said I want to cancel my order and get a refund and was told the system is locked and that can't happen either. I knew I should have gone with Spoonful of Comfort or Harry & David! They never drop the ball. This company is sneaky. Now both items are going to my Sister and then she will have to ship to KS on the 2nd item for me. I DO NOT recommend using Swiss Colony. I'm a person who does a lot of delivery items and they are beyond unprofessional! STAY CLEAR!

I order Christmas gifts and told will arrive on time. On 25th they I saw shipped with FEDEX then show arrival on 28th. When I send email they said shipped withUSPS. Missed Christmas and now new year because they said will take 10 days+.? My mistake not going with Harry and David. Very misleading and terrible service. I absolutely refuse to order from Swiss colony ever again. I placed my order, and went to expected shipping date to be the 26 of October. I have an app that allows me to track my packages, and gives me an arrival date. The app, which I have proof with, said my package was supposed to be delivered two days ago. I contacted customer service hoping they would look into this for me, and the only thing they told me was that I requested a delivery date of October 26. That was far from true, and even if it was true, I know that deliveries from Wisconsin to Indiana do not take a week. I have had packages from New York, England, California, and Nevada sent, and received half way across the country completely sooner than that. I proceeded to tell them that if my package was destroyed when it arrives, I will not be paying for it and will be expecting a refund. This company absolutely sucks and I have no idea how they are still in business
I received a can of mixed nuts for a Christmas gift... they are horrible tastes old and stale. I thought I would contact swiss colony and just let them know they were bad and thought a reputable company like this may care enough to exchange them for me. They didn't even care. I spoke to a Josh and he said I would have to return them to the person who gave them to me for a gift. I would never do that. Its no big deal really it was a gift... I guess I'm really tired of talking to people who don't care about anything. At least I did get a real person on the phone. I have always ordered from Swiss Colony in the past because of how good they are but after the I don't care conversation I will no longer order from them...
Swiss Colony allows the customer to select the ship date of orders, but then ignores the selected date. If you attempt to time the shipment so that it arrives just before a special event, you will likely receive the order far in advance, forcing you to freeze items that would otherwise become stale. If you place the order just prior to your event, however, the shipment may arrive long after your event occurred. It's frustrating.
I'm finding that many dessert items are inedible due to being sickeningly sweet. The descriptions of the buttercreams and layers of chocolate in their products sound great but are typically awful. Both are unbearably sweet, and the chocolate is often inappropriately thick and hard, making the item heavy and difficult to eat.
Corresponding products in your local supermarket are superior yet cost significantly less. And they allow you to avoid the shipping issues.

Buy the corresponding products at your local supermarket. You will save yourself a lot of time, money and frustration. For example, Little Debbie Swiss Rolls are much better than the Swiss Colony "Forest Friends" Log, even though the former costs at least $25 less.

Was not able to reach customer service to change an order after two days of calling and emails sent and unanswered. Archaic ordering/shipping systems and terrible customer service. Save your money and shop elsewhere!

Been a customer for 3 years with a $1300 credit limit. For large items it will cost you at least half the item you order for shipping costs for things you can get at your local grocery store. My last time with Swiss Colony!

I've been ordering with this company for over 10 years. Up until last year, they were doing good for me. However, last Christmas, a week before the holiday, they contacted me to tell me that a gift order for my mother was out of stock. She lives across the miles so to scramble with a Plan B gift was impossible. I vowed never to do business with them again. Since I'm a forgiving person, I thought since a year had past, I would give them another chance. I apprehensively ordered something for my mother again with a week before her birthday. I got a call telling me that there was a problem with the order. Here we go again. If you plan to order from this company, I implore you to make certain that you have a Plan B in place because this company is untrustworthy and will screw everything up.

Inquired the next day and she said it's approved and I will receive an email when it ships. 2 days prior to Thanksgiving now and nothing has been emailed to me. I ordered 4 Christmas breakfast baskets. I asked that they be delivered December 21st. After talking to customer support, that means I want them before that date. Confusing. They are on their way for delivery today in a refrigerated truck. Because the items are Christmas gifts, I should store them in my refrigerator for two weeks. Disappointing..
I ordered on the 13, just got under the wire for delivery by Christmas Eve. I was approved for x amount of dollars. No one said I needed a down payment (because like everyone else my credit took a hit but all of my bills are payed on time) 100% on my credit report! I get a letter yesterday 12/23/2021 that they won't process my order but I make a down payment! If they had said that the night I placed my order I would have paid it at that time! No call nothing but a stupid letter 2 days before Christmas! I will never use them again!

Customer service is good, they have a variety of food and gifts, have tried a variety of items over the years, always good to very good taste and quality. They will ship merchandise to anywhere in USA. They offer credit, but just remember it is a high interest rate.
