WHAT A CON - This site charges you 50p a bid and once you bid it resets its timer up to 40 seconds and therefore you can spend £25 (50 Bids) in no time at all. What a Classic con as you can easily not even win a bid so something that you think is a bargin has cost you £25 for absoulutley nothing. The only site that i will be bidding on is the site that don't charge you for bidding. This site should be reported to the trading standards but i can't seem to find the addresss.

Swoopo. For those of you who aren't familiar with this site, it's supposed to be an auction site where you pay 50p to bid and get great items at ridiculously low prices. This is somewhat true but absolutely misleading. This site is a SCAM. More of a gambling site than an auction site. The products and bidders are the same all over the world. AND before you doubters start to stick up for the site, check for yourself: go on both the UK and US site and see that the same items are being bid on by the same people, with the same time limits left! Also, and this is the bit that makes it a scam and not a legitimate auction/gambling site, sometimes it's not even the same product advertised in both countries, but has the same bidders, same amount of time left and the same winners. So, with only 200 LIVE auctions at a time, with thousands of people worldwide bidding on the same thing (or not, but are still in the same auction!) the odds of you winning are probably worse than the lottery and actual legitimate betting: so play bingo or bet on the horses instead, you're more likely to win SOMETHING!
