I ordered a Galaxy S8+ dual sim around around January 2018 for 505 pounds, it came with DPD tracking and item arrived within a week. It was all original in boxed packaging. I ordered one at first by accident and got them to cancel the order so they did reply and cancel the order for me but for other general enquiries they are slow to get back or don't respond at all. People who have had bad experiences I would say ordered the latest phones like S9 and items did not arrive I think because it's the latest device, it prob got stolen in the post because it is a sort after device. I would not hesitate to order from them again but not when a new device comes out, I would wait til the item gets a bit cheaper. I ordered S8+ for 505 now it is 365 after 6 months. I recommended everyone to tech in the basket after I ordered my phone, I would always pay with Paypal pay after delivery though the negative feed back I would still not be put off to order from them again. Scam site. DO NOT USE. They set up two fake deliveries stating no-one was home, when there was on both occasions. DPD, the delivery company is impossible to reach after the first phone call. Techinthebasket do not respond to emails. They sent one email stating my funds would be refunded. That was a month ago. Complete sham site. DO NO USE. You have been warned.

The address provided looked far from being a legit address to send my headphones for repair. Have just taken a look at some reviews and yep the 'penny has now dropped' my experience to date supports the many comments as to how bad your Customer Service is and the fact that my headphones have a fault so quickly after my buying them also supports your selling goods that have a fault with them.

The quote that I received from Sony themselves to repair the headphones was practically the cost of a new pair of headphones, says it all really.

Needless to say I will not be buying anything from TITB in the future.

Sent a mail over 2 weeks ago asking for the address for my headphones to be repaired under warranty and in what is becoming the norm for Techinthebasket zero response.

Any chance of someone letting me have an address pretty please.

Just bought an Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro from this site.

Ordered late Friday evening on 5th February, arrived today 12th Feb. Item was well packed and in excellent brand new condition.
As others have said their tracking is a bit dodgy until it actually arrives at the UK courier, Royal Mail in my case, but over all I have no complaints. Price was a lot cheaper than any other seller I could find, even eBay.

Would consider using them again.

Bough a phone in August 21 which developed a fault I January (maybe February). Contacted them to arrange warranty repair. I had to pay for the shipping myself which is bad as it is. They kept my phone for 2 months and sent it back to be with issues not resolved. They have not done anything to repair the issue. And phone came back with a tampared glass screen rotector broken. Now trying to contact them again but they are completely ignoring my emails. Very dodgy company. Do not purchase anything from them!

Ordered on line on Boxing Day - paid via PayPal just to be on the safe side. Site stated delivery would be between 3rd and 8th Jan. Arrived by DPD (my favourite couriers) on 3rd Jan. All sealed in proper packaging but did come wit a 2 pin plug but no worries as I have plenty of Apple plugs anyway. Restored backup from old iPhone 6 and have just checked on my Apple Support account and the new phone is sitting there under registered devices. Very happy, thanks TechInTheBasket!

Tip for consumers:
May have to wait a while for delivery but so worth it

Good day. The company is not in good faith. They do not want to return the money for the phone that did not arrive. It is not possible to call them, since the number indicated on the website is an answering machine, which tells you that they need to write letters. Letters and requests to return money are not answered, they are ignored. Take care of yourself and your money.

Tip for consumers:
Be careful. The return of the goods is not real, the telephone number indicated on their website is an answering machine. They either write back or not. The refund did not take place for the phone that arrived, they simply ignored it.

Products used:
One phone arrived, we wanted to return it because there were doubts about the originality, we did not manage to do it. The second phone did not come at all.

Took a month, 22 emails, a threat of legal action to get my full refund (including return courier cost) for the Return of a faulty drone (Australian model sent btw).
Broke several promises and SLA's
They have no understanding of the consumer contracts regulations and tried to tell me they were exempt from UK law (Their domain is registered to a UK address).
Also, their customer service advisor from the phone number on their website advised me to take it up with Tech in the basket - implying he doesnt work for them.
Won't be risking another order with them.

Have received a phone with a bug, and after sending the phone back to be repaired, i am still waiting for them to fix the problem, and still having endless email conversations with them to explain them how importance is for me to get a phone asap. This doesn not seem to reach them, and their customer service is deplorable. It is incredibly frustrating and unbelievable that i have payed to have a normally functioning phone, and 3 weeks after they still can't fix the problem. And again, their customer service is unacceptable. No empathy, care for understanding their customers, and basic understanding of the fact that they need to fix the issues of their customer in a timely manner.
I can only advise other customer to avoid this company with such a high level of unprofessionalism and just bad service.

They stated the delivery time is 6-8 working days but somehow sent me the tracking number the day after I placed my order.
I got an explanation after contacting the CS(they are nice) because I was worried about the tracking number being invalid.
The parcel ended up delivered in the 6th working day.
MY SUGGESTION IS: there's no need to send the tracking numbers to your customers while the parcels have not yet been shipped out yet.
The service quality, the price and the product is good though.

Goods on the site are cheap but they DO NOT honour the warrranties for the products they sell. Ordered 6 CAT phones, 2 have stopped working. The handsets come as standard with a 24 month warranty despite this they tried repairing them themselves, failed and then offered £200 as compensation for a £400 handset. Have had to take the case to VISA to to be resolved as the customer service is none existent.

I ordered a Sony heapdhones after searching the net for the best deal and Techinthebasket has a great one. After reading the reviews of Techinthebasket I was worried I wouldn't see my order or have trouble contacting them, etc. I emailed them yesterday because it had been 4 days since I ordered. Then I received an email from them saying it had been shipped! And low and behold it had already been delivered this morning! Super happy with the process, only downside is that they didn't send me a dispatched email until after I emailed them so just bare in mind the lack of email updates. Ignore the bad reviews because I think they are people who have had bad luck.

I ordered a xiaomi redmi 6 with a registration on the website. I never received a confirmation of the registration nor did I receive a proper for my cancellation request within the first 5 days. This process has not come to a conclusion, yet.

I bought bose qc 35 headphones with an additional warantee. When the product arrived the case broke almost straight away due to a manufacturing default. After a lengthy email correspondence with tech in the basket, they still refused to replace the product (case) and said they could repair it for me but I would have to pay. I've looked on ebay/amazon and these cases cost about £18, an expensive price to pay for something that wasn't my fault. I wish I'd just bought the headphones of the Bose website. The reduction in cost that titb gives isn't worth it for the poor customer service.

I bought the Apple I watch 6 for my daughters 16th birthday. She's impressed with the watch just as I am with Techinthebasket.
The watch was £60 cheaper than anywhere else on the market, and it's real, and it came within the the delivery time scale. Would definitely recommend Techinthebasket.

I purchased Air Pod Pros from this site and only read the reviews after purchasing (risky I know) however my item came within 3 days and it's a genuine product and works perfectly! I was so relieved because after reading the negative reviews I was convinced it was a scam. I also purchased a beautiful case along with it which also came with the airpods.

Fitbit Versa fault with waterproof seal breaking within 2 months of using along with multiple syncing issues. Contacted TITB customer service asking for a lesser product as a swap and they could keep the monetary difference (approx. £30) instead of a refund so they weren't out of pocket from known problems with the product.

CS said no and a repair would take 4-6 weeks. A broken waterproof seal can not be repaired. Refund also refused, I emailed again mentioning breach of Consumer Rights and have had no reply (and reading these reviews, I don't expect one).

Their Terms & Conditions are not in line with Consumer Rights Act 2015. I am preparing a case for reporting to Citizens Advice UK and would urge others to do the same.

After reading some of the reviews I was concerned ordering an Apple Watch, however I shouldn't have worried. I received a confirmation email after placing my order. On shipping I received a further email with a link to track my delivery with Royal mail. After a few days I recontacted them as the tracking page hadn't been updated but received a response immediately with a delivery update. My item arrived via Royal Mail brand new in sealed original packaging. The delivery may have taken slightly longer than originally expected but I have no issues what so ever with this purchase and would use them again

Can I just say that I am so sorry to be the panicking customer that I have been since placing my order from you guys! Yes I read the frightening reviews on the internet, but the communication from TITB has been exceptional, even though sometimes it appears a robot may be writing the email reply. Today I received my order 4 days after placing it (initial estimate was 6-8 working days). I would deffo order from you again! Again apologies for the emails I sent you. LOVING my Samsung Galaxy Watch

Bought new Phone from this site, I received old used phone, demiged Package, opened Folie and all that after long time of waiting to receive the order.
The customer support is useless, they send the same msg every time ensuring they send new items, and saying I can return the product, but never actually sending return label, or Adresse or Garantie that i'll get my money back...
Don't buy anything from them...

Bought a new phone for nearly 950.00.
Paid 20 for rush delivery of 4 to 6 working days. 4 weeks later and no phone. They say DPD lost it and I would have to wait up to 30 days for an investigation. Beginning to suspect it was never sent, or someone working at DPD has a nice new Samsung. Opened a dispute with my credit card company and got my money back through the bank. AVOID THE BOTHER. PAY MORE AND BUY FROM A UK SELLER. 0 STARS!

Say it how it is! Simple. I purchased a Samsung galaxy 20 plus from this company, not knowing until payment was made that is was in fact in Hong Kong, I used PayPal to purchase as a safe guard, £554.00 later! It arrived on the 8th day, then problems! It was not 4g, it was LTE, 3g, would not pick up 4g after reset etc! Came with a 3 pin adaptor for use in the UK! Battery life was shockingly bad, I did question if it was in fact a new Phone! But was told it was. Any way they accepted my request to return and emailed where to send it, a UK business address, So I sent it back and it was delivered the next day using DPD! My postage was £40.00 pounds of which £30 pounds to cover loss for insurance. Thay have refunded my money for phone but nothing for my postage costs! So I am out of pocket for the privilege! I personally will never purchase anything like this again outside of the UK just to save a few pounds! Lesson learnt

I ordered an Ipad air 4th gen 64gb last Saturday 26th June 2021 and received my shiny new Ipad in original unbroken packaging this afternoon 2nd July 2021, i elected to go for the free delivery 6 to 8 business day option and can only congratulate Techinabasket for their service.
I, like a lot of people on their review sites, had reservations after reading all of the negative reviews left by unhappy customers, feared i had done my money, admittedly i have not opened the package yet but can confirm i have received a new unopened ipad box which i am sure will contain my new Ipad air. Add to this delivery in less than four business days! Top work Techinabasket i would definitely use again. Thank you. (a genuine customer)

genuine site, my experience is don't be put off by negative reviews make your purchase and save a lot of money into the bargain.

Just got scammed out of just over £400. I see lots of other users here getting the same template responses I got. Hopefully Paypal will assist in getting my money back.
This is not a company, it's a one-man operation,
Kei Chuen Lee, a fraudster.
He takes your money, gives you a fake delivery date and a fake tracking number. Makes up loads of bull$#*! stories about how they courier is holding your parcel for an unknown reason. AVOID THIS SCAMMER

Got my delivery and when I was opening the new phone packaging I couldn't put in my sim because the sim insertion tool was missing and when I did manage to open sim compartment I found a sim in it. This made me feel sick that I was conned, YES I was sent a used iphone. I must say they did reply to my emails back and forth a lot of time wasting, apologising, but they finally refunded my return post.
