Bought a reconditioned Iphone 8 Plus from TekReplay through Back Market, another big scammer. The phone was advertised as in perfect working condition. As soon as it arrived I took it to Metro by T-Mobile to transfer my phone number from my old phone. It cost me $35 to activate the Iphone. After activation, it wouldn't work properly. Nine out of ten calls couldn't connect, and when it did, I couldn't hear the other caller. It cost me another $35 to transfer my phone number back. So I paid $70 in activation fees and ended up with my old phone. TekReplay refuses to repay me the $70. Back Market says they won't help me either. I am filing claims against both companies with the BBB and the Department of Consumer Affairs. TekReplay sells defective electronics and Back Market offers no protection to its customers. Stick to Amazon. At least you can trust them to sell you something that works, and if you have any problems, Amazon goes to bat for you.
Tip for consumers:
Do not buy anything from TekReplay or Back Market
