I've placed several orders through this platform and every time the quality is simply so low. Grammar mistakes, wrong vocabulary, wrong and inaccurate information. Zero research. Writers are lazy, provide completely inaccurate information and clearly English is not their native language. Wasted money. Awful experience. Don't waste your money on this platform.
I'm not sure what this company wants from me. I chose to get content written for m to make my life easier. I submitted an order with instructions and it has been declined at least 7 times. I then changed what they advised me to change, without success. It's now been a week without the job even being started. I called last week and left a message for a rep to call and walk me through exactly what they are looking for. No call back. I've emailed for them to explain what I need to do, and no response. I then researched to see if this is legit, and from what I read, it is. (At least for a consumer; I feel bad for the content writers). I'm at a point where I'm asking myself if I should cancel and write the content myself. I am about to give up. Today is the day.

I've used TextBroker on and off for several years but "took a break" a couple years ago since the content wasn't what I was looking for quality wise. This week, I decided to give it a shot because I needed some work done in a pinch and over the course of 10+ articles every one of them was exactly what I was looking for both in terms of editorial quality, style, and research. I'll definitely be using their writers more often in the future!
Tip for consumers:
Be very clear in the instructions as well as providing links / references to what you are looking for. This has dramatically improved the results.

I was asked to write something in transparent.ai. The platform wouldn't save my certificate (I received an error message), so I copied and pasted it into a google document. When I asked about submitting the article, I was told that I needed to completely rewrite the content! All of this for a $5 article and because of a glitch in the platform they use. I refuse to rewrite 500 words all because one of their tools isn't working. It's not worth writing for textbroker since they provide their writers with 0 support.

1. The passport registration is just horrible - long, very insecure and not understandable.
2. The process of accepting/reviewing the order is so misleading! I wanted the author to just make few corrections to the order, so clicked - Revise and gave feedback. Out of the sudden, the whole article is gone and I got completely new one, which is a piece of *, then review all over again, and again, complete waste of time:/
3. The user interface is super confusing, visibly not tested nor created with UX in mind. Is that even a technology company?

Hi Ewelina! Thank you for your feedback! Our verification process is in place to protect yourself, account holders and Textbroker from fraud, and has proven to be quite successful! I'm sorry to hear that you didn't receive the content that you wanted from the first author you worked with. When you send a revision request, the author will have 24 hours to comply. If they do not submit the revised text within the 24 hours, the order will automatically be returned to the order pool so that another author may complete your order. If you ever have any questions about how to use our site, please feel free to reach out to Client Services at clients@textbroker.com or via live chat from within your account!
I have been a writer with Textbroker for three weeks. I started as at 3 star level and after submitting my first five, they jumped me to 4 star rating. My first 40 articles was accepted with no issues. All of a sudden, I got a revision request because I did not have "voice" in my writing and I had too many facts. First of all, the client instructed to do research so of course I'm going to put facts and evidence to support my claim. After already taking hours of researching to insure high quality finish work I became extremely frustrated. It was a 940 word article so I wasn't getting anymore than $13 to write it. It wasn't worth it. I cancelled it. I was absolutely not going to revise anything after I took so long to write it in the first place.
Clients expect so much for so little pay. Im going somewhere else that will pay me what my high-quality research and writing is worth. Good-bye text broker.

I ordered a press release. Order was ignored. I emailed support and was told that the writers can decide if they want to accept or reject assignments. I thought it was canceled due to the response of support. I had the order fulfilled by another company. That release was published and distributed. 63 days later, textbroker fulfilled the original order. 63 days! I went to close my account but they have a no refund policy. I've found better writers on craigslist.

The one good thing I can say about textbroker is that getting paid is easy. I've never experienced any issues in that area. However, that is basically where the good ends. The rate is ridiculously low. You'd probably make more just taking a lengthy walk around your neighborhood, looking for loose change. Sometimes there will be good topics to write about, but for the most part your choices will be about hemmeroids, penile enhancement and where to score cheap pharmaceuticals online. Their clients also don't want to pay, so theyll ask for a miracle to be crammed into 300 words. Also, it doesn't matter if you've written 8000, level 4 articles for them. All it takes is a few poorly rated ones and you're demoted. Before agreeing to work for textbroker, I suggest really taking some time to consider that. Can you imagine producing over 8000 assignments all at a 4-rating, but a mere three articles will be what they'll determine your worth is? Garbage company.

We have been using Textbroker off and on for a few years. When we find the perfect writers, it's a love affair, but it's a matter of finding the right one. The service is great, turn around is awesome.

Hi Gabriella! Thanks so much for your comments! We agree that we're a little like a matchmaker for clients and authors here at Textbroker, and finding "the one" is key :)
This site is disgusting. It's bad enough that they pay you a penny per word, which even a fourth grader could do. But it's even worse when you consistently turn in articles which you KNOW are of good quality, and they never move your rating up, so you can never make any more money. And clients will send back work 4-5 times on stupid little things that don't even make any sense, when they should have put it in a different star category if they wanted perfection. And I can never make it over 19$ a pay period because even if I write 30-40$ worth of articles, they wait until after payday to review them so they don't have to pay big payouts to people. This whole outfit is unworthy of even the worst writer. Writers, even if you are beginners, DO NOT SELL YOURSELF SHORT! This company sucks $#*!. They treat people like s%*# because that is exactly what they are.

Sadly, this company appears to be in a slide and they were once super responsive and great to write for. Worked for them on and off a few years, right now poor staff author response now and other mischief. Till they work out their slide in services and author response, you might want to give this company a miss.

Absolute rubbish. Do not use this company. They assign a writer to you, the work takes ages to complete. Then I found that the person they assigned did not read or ignored the template. I closed the account closing 25 euro in the process as they insist on you depositing more money than the cost of the work before they proceed. I guess the reason for this is that a lot of people close the account after one job. I started using elance at the same time. Much better designed process you choose who does the review based on their experience. Work as a result is of a better quality.

I am very happy with the service and the writer I'm working with. I've worked with two writers. The first was good, but the second one is wonderful. She strikes the tone I want to convey with my readers, and goes above and beyond in adding extras to my blogs.

Hi Nancy! Thank you for your review! We know that clients tend to be most satisfied when they find an author they can work with on an ongoing basis, so we're glad to hear this author is working out so well for you!
I would like to add that money should not be our main concern. Our main concern should be if we find fulfillment in what we do. Anyway, I still have my doubts about Textbroker and would not outright recommend it. God bless. :)

Textbroker is a great tool for quality content, however, I have found it to be trial-and-error in finding a good, quality writer.
I like that I can directly request my top writers for new articles, rather than put it into a pool for new writers.

Hi Kristine! Thanks for taking the time to leave this feedback! It's great advice to continue working with authors who you know you already like rather than putting your orders in the pool for any author to complete. We're glad you've found some authors to work with on an ongoing basis!
I do search visibility for clients and one of the components of my job is writing the blog post. At a recent conference, one of my colleagues recommended TextBroker and the balance is history. Now I can focus on other things

Hi Frank! We're glad to hear we've been able to help shoulder some of your workload and make your life a little easier :)
I've used Textbroker and had success on both sides, as a writer and as a publisher (content requestor). I've found them to be fairly quick and easy to work with. You get to work with the writer (or publisher) directly so you usually get what you want; Textbroker is just the facilitator. Sometimes the choice of topics is pretty slim but if you are a 4 star writer then you can access the vast majority of writing requests. Be sure to proofread your stuff before submission!

I had trouble getting the original order in, but afterwards I was satisfied with the content. However, I like to use stories in the content and there was not a real story in it. Still, it was pretty good and something I can work with and adjust the content myself before submitting it to my publisher.

Hi Damian! Thanks so much for taking the time to post a review and let people know how the service is working for you!
Company pays their writers peanuts, so you really get what you pay for. If you want cheap, blah material, go with them. If you want something quality, use a company that pays the writers for what they actually do.

There is too large of a skills gap between 4 star and 5 star authors. An article from a 4 star author usually contains poor flow, flawed logic, and takes several hours of personal editing to get into a final state. A 5-star author generally has post-ready material. Considering the fact that a 5 star article costs 3x what a 4 star article costs, there is a huge amount of stratification in ordering. I would like a happy medium between the two ratings - I am happy to do some touch up editing and am willing to spend more than a normal 4 star article to get it, but think the nearly 3X jump between 4 and 5 star is too much.

Hi Anthony! That's a really great point! We'll be sure to pass along your feedback to upper management. Thanks!
I found a great writer thanks to Textbroker, and I also received excellent support from the Textbroker team regarding some questions I had about their services. I fully recommend Textbroker to anyone who needs article writing services.

I clearly asked a writer to write a story for me.
When the article came back it was written completely wrong. They even wrote the story as if I was a woman but I am a man.
I corresponded with them and asked them to correct the problem and they said yes and they asked me to send the article back to them. I did (twice) even though they had it anyway. After 3 days and my deadline was almost up to get the article published, they had still done nothing so I rejected the first version. My rejection was taken to review and they rejected me and paid the writer for a useless article. I lost my money and have no right of reply. THe site is very hard to navigate especially for a newbie

Hi Paul! I'm sorry to hear that your most recent experience wasn't a positive one!
It looks like your refusal reason given was based on your experience using our site and not on the content that you had received. Please note that per our Terms of Services, valid order refusal reasons are the author not following your order briefing or writing the content to the quality level selected. Unfortunately, we are unable to uphold refusals based on use of the site as the author had completed the order per your order briefing specifications, and therefore, must be compensated for their work.
In the future, if you are having trouble using our site, please contact Client Services for assistance. Please feel free to contact Client Services at clients@textbroker.com if you have any additional questions!
Our company has used Textbroker for many years and they continue to be our go-to source for help in creating content for our clients. From Webpage copy to whitepaper content across many different industries, we find Textbroker has the best writers. We have tried other content providers as they enter the market, but always return to Textbroker. They were one of the first content providers and continue to be the leader in this area in our book.

Hi Rivers! Thanks so much for your review! We hope we can continue to be a leader in the content creation industry and appreciate your continued use of our services.
They are just liar and theif. They don't accept my rejection for poor article and withdraw money from my account forcedly without my acceptance.
I do recommend everyone not to use this service. It's only expensive and poor quality service.

I worked for Textbroker for about four months and wrote 37 articles with one rejection. In energy received any article reviews from Textbroker editors until months later. The one rejection was because I couldn't figure out the company's hyperlink mechanism. I received rave reviews and continued to write at a level 4 hoping to advance to 5. At the 37 article textbroker all of a sudden gives a review of all my articles and reduces my level to 3. A professional company would review articles as the writer presents them so that whatever faults textbroker finds can be changed and the writer's work enhanced. I am a seasoned writer. The problems Textbroker found with my work are unjustifiable. Don't waste your time.

Textbroker is the leading digital content creation site. We bring clients and authors together to create custom content, such as blogs, product descriptions, press releases and more!
The idea behind Textbroker is to satisfy the growing demand for custom content. As an SEO provider, Textbroker founder Jan Becker-Fochler experienced first-hand the increasing importance of unique content to his clients; after all, unique content leads to a better ranking in search engines, more traffic and more revenue. Then, in 2005, Becker-Fochler came up with the idea to search for authors, motivate them to write, rate the quality of their work and compensate them for their effort. To accomplish this, he commissioned the development of a preliminary version of the Textbroker platform.
Within a short time, thousands of authors eager for the chance to earn money with their writing signed up. In 2007, Textbroker launched the Internet’s first content marketplace. Today, Textbroker authors deliver high-quality product descriptions, blog posts, press releases, social media posts, news stories, and technical articles and a wide variety of other written content to clients around the world. In essence, Textbroker is a better, faster, easier and less expensive way for companies to get freelance written content.
