TextNow is great for throwaway numbers. It can also make sure you have anyone number if you dont have a service at the moment. However, they dont allow you to receive 2FA codes.

Text now has been a great asset to have. Especially in sudden unexpected situations when my other means of communication are down.

I can't log in due to unusual activity. Idk the info needed such as phone number and last time I used it in order to file an appeal. Very disappointed. I use this as backup to my personal phone.

Very often you can't answer the text now when somebody calls you. Sometimes my phone won't even ring when someone calls me.

I've used text now for about 6 years now. It's better than ALL THE OTHER WIFI APPS AVAILABLE. I've had the same number since I started.

Using TextNow to get a US number is a good option. I used paid and free options. I didn't give it 5 stars because sometimes the call quality is poor and I receive spam calls.

Too many ads for people who pay a yearly subscription to keep phone ad.

Textnow has all the features I need - voice mail, called ID, can send/received photos and videos. It works perfectly well most of the time, with rarely minor glitches. The only thing it can't receive is the authentication codes, but I can't complain as it's FREE! It has saved me lots of money and I'm thankful for it!

The key board doesn't come up like it should I have to leave the app so i can get to the bank ing app i need

I am having trouble getting my txt now notifications an my phone doesn't ring. I went into the settings and made sure all notifications were on but it still doesn't alert me.
