Beware, the admins dox forum users that they see as disruptive or who talk politics when they shouldn't. They posted my real email and name in the forum. That place is bad news. Open web sucks if the forums that use it can gain access to profile info that should never be public and print it.

I've been a reader of TheDrive in TheWarZone section for years and recently had my account completely deleted. Hundreds of posts were gone I was shadowbanned, unable to communicate or rate the articles.

Reason?

I had downvoted an article by authors Joseph Trevithick and Tyler Rogoway. They contacted the moderating team and removed ALL of my posts, going years back.

Stay away from these people, they cannot take criticism.

Tip for consumers:
If you must stay, use adblock or scriptblock to prevent them from having any money.

If you want to share an article use a screengrab or an archive.

Tyler Rogoway and other staff at The War Zone (part of The Drive) gave forum admin access to users who bully, make physical threats and reveal the private information of members. I personally had my personally identifying information published in the forum. The only way they could have gained access to this information was if they had admin access to the forum software (openweb).

This site is a lawsuit or other legal action waiting to happen.

It is owned by Brookline Media, is part of The Drive and is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program.

Tip for consumers:
Do not register on The War Zone. Admins bully, threaten and doxx users on a routine basis
