One of the biggest problems with water filters is losing the warranty, but those are so simple to install, that I don't need to worry about this. Shipped in time, and lasts for a long time. Great products!

I ordered 2 fridge filters 3 weeks ago and despite numerous promises still nothing has been delivered. Paid in full by Paypal so will be attempting to get a full refund through them. Only given 1 star as cannot give zero.

I ordered some fridge filters on 28 September and still waiting for them... My experience is exactly the same as below - I did manage to get through to someone in the office who had all my details and assured me that they were being shipped the next day - that was 2 weeks ago... Completely hopeless will never use again
Do not purchase from this website. Have not delivered my Samsung filter even tho says shipped over a week ago. Called up a few times always same answer "we've shipped it on..." but the date kept changing - liars! Called up again and emailed. Finally had a call back from the owner who hung up on me after questioning him about when my package was actually shipped and when I asked rightly for my delivery charge to be refunded. Actually ridiculous!
AVOID this company at all costs!
I bought three original LG filters from this company, very cleary marked with an "original parts" guarantee. The parts I received were generic parts (third party replacements) that cost significantly less than I paid. I called and they said it was a mix-up, so returned them and then spent 3 months calling to get different reasons as to why the originals never appeared (mostly claiming they had been sent but never arrived). Eventually they refunded me, still continually saying they definitely had the originals in stock and it was all a strange problem with delivery to me.
I then called their bluff and ordered again. I was sent the same generic parts. It's to me very clear this is their normal practice. Advertise a good price for original parts, send much cheaper generics (which I don't want as they're often not as good and can fail, as I have experienced).
Overall then, false advertising at best, downright fraud once the calls are considered (IMO). AVOID.
Ordered two filters, one fortunately turned up, however the more expensive one was the wrong item completely. Have emailed, repeatedly, rung, repeatedly, only to find a voice message that 'We are experiencing problems with our telephone system' - BUT you can leave a message? Have left messages and all to nothing. Would advising giving this firm a miss. Ripping off pensioners - SHAME on you!

I placed an order for a freezer bulb on 22 January 2014. The money was deducted from my bank account on the same day. The company's website says you will get an e-mail confirming dispatch. Thirteen days later I have neither received an e-mail or my freezer bulb. There is no answer to either of the company's phone numbers - *******234 or ******* ******* - or is it possible to leave a message.
There is something seriously wrong when it is impossible to contact the company. I would not recommend this site to anyone.
Shoddy service. Ordered a Samsung filter and received 4 incorrect filters. One month later and 19 email exchanges of false promises i am still awaiting either exchange, refund and prepaid label to return incorrect goods. Wish I read the reviews beforehand.
As others say I find the service from this company is appalling and verging on fraud. Two filters ordered, took a week to arrive and were so badly packed they were both smashed to pieces. E mail requests for replacements were ignored and two telephone promises came to nothing. Two Recorded letters sent and delivered requesting refund ignored. Next step Trading Standards involvement to hopefully stop others being ripped off.
Be very wary before using this Company.
I order fridge filters almost 2 months ago. Numerous phone calls and emails with the company who have made promises that filters had been sent, then that they had been returned to them and they would re dispatch,... lots of contradictory information given to me and still no filters or refund. Customer reviews on their website are dated 2009! I am now referring case to trading standards and approaching my credit card company to hopefully obtain a refund.

I purchased a filter from The Fridge Filter Shop.com who took my money from my debit card but never delivered the goods. I received a blank email but nothing more.
I've tried both of their telephone numbers several times over the last month but they just go to an answerphone where you can't leave a message.
I've also emailed them several times but they don't reply.
I strongly recommend you look elsewhere and don't even think about buying from them because I'm not the only one to be fleeced in this way.
I put 1 star but il's 0. I've received bad filter and impossible to have somebody by phone or by mail. Just real robbers! Never buy in this shop! I I see but too late that there are allways problems since a year ago. How denounce them to the police?
They take the money - you get no receipt or confirmation nor any other kind of email acknowledging your order. If you don't write down the order number they give you at the time of purchase you are stuffed because there is no other way of tracking your order.
Not that tracking your order makes any difference. If they don't deliver your goods, they wont respond to your emails either and their phone line is constantly busy.
I cant decide if they are criminal or just incompetent.
Don't ever buy anything form these people.
A complete joke of a company, ordered four filters only two turned up. Emailed the company twice no response. Tried to ring no answer ever. Online chat when available got told to email, informed them I had tried this got told email was the only way to communicate.
In the end out of complete frustration I got paypal involved under there complaint process. I will say the shop did respond by telling me to email my compliant. I informed them that I would rather communicate via the paypal centre. We never heard anything again from them and now paypal have found in my favour and have offered to refund my money.
What a joke of a company stay away, you have been warned!
They took ages to deliver my filter with no contact so I tried to ring them - no answer! Beginning to think I'ld been conned when the filter arrives in the post. Good product - good price, just not service you'ld expect nowadays off the internet
This is the first time i've ever done this, and it's because it's because i've been ripped off. I'm a designer so I trusted the look of the website, but I want to tell everybody else not to trust them. This business is a fraud and should be closed down.
I ordered 2 filters from thefridgefiltershop.com and paid in full. I never received a thing. No confirmation, no product, no response to emails etc. I paid via Paypal so i've just received a full refund from them, but they haven't had any response from the claim either.
I assumed Paypal would close their account down, but they haven't, they just reversed the payment. So it seems thefridgefiltershop.com are free to waste people's time and rip you off if you trust them - don't do it.

Run away from this site as far as you possibly can. We ordered a filter for a Samsung fridge, the shop immediately charged our card. After weeks, we mailed, no response. We called, ALWAYS busy. Impossible to reach them. Then we get a USED filter. Again NO WAY to reach them. We are eating the cost and giving up.
Needed a filter for my hot water dispenser. FFS sold a 3M replacement for a good price. When I ordered they claimed to have stock then emailed to say the item was on order. Then delivered the wrong item. Finally got the correct filter which was not compatible with my water heater. Bought the manufacturer's part which was spot on- although dearer. Can't get FFS to refund me and take back 2 filters supplied.
Why can you not get any response from this shop?

Ordered a fridge filter.
Couldn't find a Paypal option so paid with a credit card instead of my usual debit card.
Their emailed invoice showed a charge for a 'subscription' which meant they would automatically send another filter and charge it to my card every six months.
I cancelled this immediately.
Luckily I have online banking and can check my credit card balances.
They have charged me £1.80 for cancelling the 'subscription' that I didn't ask for in the first place.
Phoned them today and spoke to a young sounding and thoroughly unprofessional chap that started trying to tell me that it was all my fault then rapidly though better of it and agreed to refund the extra charge.
We shall see...

I ordered 2 x Carpet Cleaners from the company, never arrived so I sent three emails, no reply so I phoned and spoke to one of the staff who said "the items are out of stock, I will ring our suppliers to find out a delivery date, and I will ring you back immediately". I had no phone call from them.
I had to open a case with paypal to get my money back.

This company seems to over promise and under deliver. I had used them on previous times and never had a problem until June 2015. An item I had ordered they emailed me back to say it was out of stock even though on their website it showed as being in stock. For weeks I tried to make contact but with no success. I eventually spoke to someone who in my opinion sounded unprofessional. They told me they would refund me back my money.
After weeks of waiting I bought the filter for my May Tag elsewhere and contacted Paypal to commence with a refund. After several weeks of more waiting around 6 weeks overall I eventually got back my refund from Paypal.
I strongly recommend you do not use this company because they do not care about customer service.
You have been warned they also appear to say they have stock they do not have and have poor customer service. I challenge you to phone them and see if anyone picks up the phone.

Just like others say here. This website is a joke. I ordered a shower filter and was amazed that they dispatched it the next day. I was thinking what are these people here talking about, it's a great service. Well, the next day I received a message that they don't have it in stock and I can have my money back. So still waiting for my money back. No filter, no money, terrible communication, terrible service. But if you would like to help them determine if they have the item you are looking for in stock then go ahead and purchase from them. Seems like that's the only way they know if they have it or not. Hopefully I will get my money back soon. WASTE OF TIME!

Like many other reviews on here - poor experience. Only give 2 stars because I "eventually" got my money back.

When the filter did not fit, Fridefiltershop.com communication was slow and unclear, they never answered the telephone and I sent numerous emails.
Only after I threatened to escalate to trading standards, I eventually got a reply and then it took a few weeks more to finally get my money back. It seems they try to avoid the issue.
I will not be buying from this company again. Used Amazon instead and one from "finerfilters" instead, the product fitted and it clearly shows its a compatible product and resolves the problem.
Ordered a filter on February 18th. My card was debited April 10th. Filter arrived May 30th. So that's over 14 weeks of a lead-time! In fairness the company did have supply issues from GE which I can imagine is a nightmare (such a huge company). However I think if the site told me the item was out of stock I would have ordered elsewhere. Again in fairness other sites said it was out of stock so that sort of confirmed the supply issues. I did have some communication from the company with updates but had to chase the order at the same time. So not a great experience but I have what I ordered now and it was difficult to find anywhere else hence the three stars!
