I just went on my honeymoon out of country Marcell Fresquez was the best. She handled everything and went out of her way to make this the very best honeycomb ever and I changed my mine a few times she was always happy to hear from me and did everything to meet all my demands. Marcell is truly the best in her field. I will book every trip with her and refer to all my friends and family. Marcell thank you so much.

The last thing (The Knot) is obviously concerned with is the Vendor Reviews on their site, They can care less and DO NOT Verify them. Go to WeddingWire you will get much more business for your buck and reviews are verified. Believe and take it from me... I am a leading wedding vendor in the Jacksonville Florida Area

I signed up for The Knot when I first got engaged and later decided to go with other platforms when designing my website, registry, etc. The Knot makes it very hard for guests to find the correct wedding website, as they are the first thing that comes up on a Google search (likely through paid advertisement). I developed a beautiful website on Minted.com's platofmr that matched my wedding invitations, but guests were led to an unfinished website at theknot.com when they searched for us. Even after I deleted my wedding website with The Knot, guests were led to a registry with them that was incomplete (as I went with a different website). Would not recommend signing up for wedding website, registry, etc until you are sure they are the final destination for your guests' online search.

The knot is the worst website I have ever used. Not user friendly and their programs are antiquated.

Adding a photo to the cover page of the website is a nightmare. The cropping defaults to shifting upwards and to the right of where you actually selected. In addition it doesn't save the section you select if your photo is vertical. However if the photo you select is a horizontal one then and ONLY then will it crop where you want and save what you select.

Also their own equivalent of word doc for the "our story" won't save some of our spell check and it auto capitalizes every time you backspace.

Skip The Knot
July 26, 2021

I was a guest at a wedding. I reserved my hotel room through The Knot's website. The address for the hotel was correct on the bride/groom's page, but the Knot linked the reservation to a different hotel in the same city. I was charged for 1 night stay and 25%cancellation fee, ON TOP of having to pay to stay at the correct hotel. When calling The Knot, most of the people don't speak English well. AVOID them!

The Knot.com is a nightmare. I started a website there. I wanted to delete it. There is no option for you to delete your site. You have to email a request to the Knot. I have emailed a request for deletion four times but the Knot has not replied and my site still comes up on Google when my name is entered, as well as a picture.
Since I couldn't delete the site, I tried to disguise it. I changed my and my fiance's names but the site still comes up in a search under our real names. I have spent hours trying to find the source of the information to delete it or change it.
I then changed all pages to not visible. I deleted the photo of my fiancee and myself but that still comes up in the search engines, too. This site is overbearing and intrusive denying me control over my personal information and photos. I have wasted hours trying to regain my privacy. This site is despicable.
I did not fill out detailed service and quality ratings because the Knot deserves a ZERO.

Total rip-off

The Knot pro for business is a total scam. They will charge you $160 and do absolutely nothing to promote your business. When I called to cancel due to covid-19 (the business was closed for over a month) they told me I signed a contract and it can't be terminated until the next month. So yeah, they were promoting' a closed business in a lockdown... When I called a month later to make sure its cancelled, they said it is. Yet, they didn't stop charging me! I called 4 times in one day to get a refund and they kept saying the account manager is unavailable at this time & she will call me back. Guess what? She never did! They are leeching off of small businesses giving absolutely nothing in return. Money wasted. They are absolute thieves & scammers of a worst sort.

Fake vendor reviews

This website put up my business name on their site without me knowing about it and without my permission. They put me as a Bridal Salon in Vancouver, BC... I don't have a bridal salon and I am not located in Vancouver BC, about they only thing they got right is my business name. They allow fake reviews and when I contacted them about this and asked them to take my business off of here, they refused. They told me I have to prove it, why should I have to prove anything to a business like The Knot who disregards the damage they do to a small business and are totally unaccountable for their actions. The Knot has disgusting business practices.

Wedding is in a month, guests now have invitations, and TheKnot doesnt have their wedding date correctly written. Really? Guests search and say theknot doesnt work. After emails and a call to customer service, nothing has been done? We checked and rechecked our settings and its all correctly done. And the real joke-my daughter-in-law and I got the exact same email responsebut supposedly by a different person. I cant believe this! I will be pushing the competition from now on!

Loaded with Scammers

I wasted a lot of money being on the first page. They do not have a way of verifying if it is a legit lead. 98% of the inquires/leads I received were not legit. I had a lot of scamming leads. Don't waste your money on this site.
