Great resource for their planning checklist and website builder, HOWEVER, I would NEVER recommend using knot to order your Save the Dates, Invitations, etc. Right before you press "Submit my order", there is a "have a designer contact me" box and if you do not check this box, they claim to not touch your design and print it as is. This stupid little checkbox is fake news - they moved my text without approval. Fast forward - I got contacted by a designer, we went back and fourth, they claimed that I was the confused one (rude) and that what they have is "practically identical" to what I was asking for (rude and also untrue). Is it too much to ask to just print what I stinkin ordered? If you care what your paper orders look like, go somewhere else.
I used The Knot for my wedding in July of 2020. It was super helpful in planning my big day. I especially appreciated the features it offers for keeping track of your guest list and addresses. It's so nice to have your own website and URL for your guests to go to and see all of your details! I loved having all my RSVPs in one place. It was also really helpful to have my registry on there, too. I had a lot of fun designing the website and displaying my engagement photos and bridal party! The only thing I didn't love about The Knot was that it was a little tricky figuring out how to work the website.
The staff at the NY event was appalling today. Models flew into NY to the Metro Pavilion to attend castings that they were personally invited to. Only to find a security guard named Chris who owns EMG models in NY refusing to allow the models in. Have a security guard on staff that owns a modeling agency is a conflict of interest but it gets worse. Chris would ask models to see their casting email invites and still refuse to allow the models in. Then he would send his own models to the castings. We know this because we work with the same designers in NY, Chicago, Dallas and Atlanta and they informed us what happened. Not to mention Chris himself acknowledged it. After 2 hours of waiting Chris finally allowed the models in but at that point the castings were over. Models are out money on flights and hotel and leaving negative reviews all over the internet to let others no how EMG Agency is unethical, the Knot is complicit as is the Metropolitan Pavilion.
We had Levan's Catering do our wedding. They were professional and we were so pleased with the result! We are getting so many comments on the food, service and the personal were great! We highly recommend Levan's Catering! Thank you!
My name is Jered Hafitz, my daughter Leah had her wedding at the Seaview in Gallaway township N. J. I can, t say enough great things about the Seaview. They are so professional from the valet to housekeeping to the front desk. Everyone is awesome. Jen was the planner we dealt with. Her, Sally, Sal, everyone involved, the bartenders the servers, I just can't say enough about the entire staff.
I receive solid leads from many other sites like Wedding Wire and I book 9 out of 10 of them. From The Knot, you get leads with the same type of email *******@aol.com, *******@gmail.com etc. I write them back to start the conversation and nothing back. They are catfishing. Plus I had a false review that I had proof was false information and they refused to take it down and they refused to remove my companies information from their site. STAY AWAY, go to Wedding Wire!
Ann Best, East Greenwich, RI, did our hair for my daughter's wedding and we all looked gorgeous! Ann is so talented with hair - she really is an artist. And the makeup artist she brought with her was excellent, also.
Ann did my hair for my 70th birthday party (August 2020). I have already booked her for my 50th wedding anniversary celebration next August to do my, and both daughters', hair.
Gabby at Rustic Rooster Photography is by far the best photographer. She has an extremely gifted talent and goes beyond your dreams. Please check her out on rustic rooster Facebook.
This company is horrendous to work with. I ordered my wedding invitations from the knot almost three weeks ago and spent over $400. I've called 4 times with NO RESPONSE. I've emailed about 15 times just to get one response asking if they are approved. The invitations were approved weeks ago. Now I'm being ignored and have a wedding in October with no hope of getting the invitations out anytime soon. They'll take your money on the spot, then ignore you until it's too late. I'm going to be cancelling my order with the knot. What a nightmare. DO NOT USE THE KNOT. THEY DO NOT CARE HOW IMPORTANT YOUR WEDDING IS TO YOU.
Terrible Company when it comes to ethics. They allow people to review your Business with nothing but Lies and unconfirmed facts. They even allow the Customer to say DO NOT Hire XXXXXX... Major No No in the employment world but Knot with the Knot! I have sent certified letters to their legal departmant stating their errors but still, they would rather stick with their paid members lies! Even if they are your competitors. Not a great company. Do not put your company profile there. You can do much better on your own. Honestly. They do not seem to understand publishers have a responsibillity when it comes to defamation. Say anything you want about me but never allow someone imply I am something without proof of a prior history! Never let someone say they viewed something without proper facts. Because in this case they never saw anything but what was rolling in their own minds!
Hi Daniel, thank you for your review. We apologize that your experience did not match your expectations. We set a high standard for ourselves, and we’re so sorry to hear this was not met in your interaction with our business. We'd like to learn more about your specific situation and make things right. Answer: My honest opinion... do not use theknot.com for your wedding. It crashes often and can be extremely frustrating. Believe me... I used it and was locked into using it because it was on all of my invitations. My best advice: use weddingwire.com. But, if you're not going to listen to my advice or are locked in and stuck as I was, go to your wedding website (not in preview mode) and click on guest list from the dashboard... well... After 9 attempts, TK will not load properly so that I can step you through it (everything else on my computer works great). Sorry, that's all I have for you. I hate theknot.com!
Answer: Tell them the same thing they say to you when you contact them for help in any way! "I don't think it is in our best interest! You are on your own... Good luck with that!"
The Knot has a rating of 1.7 stars from 375 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with The Knot most frequently mention customer service, credit card and wedding wire. The Knot ranks 79th among Wedding Planning sites.
