Our daughter's wedding at the Claridge Hotel in Atlantic City was just fantastic. James Sacco, and all of the Claridge employees went over and above to make this such a memorable day for all of us.
Thank You,
The Migliacci Family
Be wary they allow vendors to advertise after being notified that vendors took money and never showed up. THE KNOT has been told about Crystal Nix Beauty and how she just does not show or gets paid and never shows, there is even a facebook page about this woman, but the knot keeps allowing her to advertise on their site and to continue stealing from innocent people, does not speak well of their ethics.
I love it. I meet lots of great girls on the boards and have knottie get togethers! I also learn so much and get wedding inspiration! It really makes the time fly also. I have about 4 months until the wedding and the time is flying now. I will be on the knot after the wedding as well, to help other brides out!
I used the knot to host my wedding website. They have this neat electronic RSVP feature & allows you to use secure RSVP, so only people invited can respind. Pretty neat I thought, except the secure feature kerps reversing (3 times do far & counting). I have had multiple people not invited to my wedding RSVP to it. I've now resorted to checking the settings multiple times a day to make sure I dont end up having to tell dozens of people they werent supposed to be allowed to RSVP. Its awful! I would suggest anybody considering them for this to look elsewhere!
I have to say, I was a member in Louisiana, our account MGR was the best! I felt valued and in MN, UMMMM not the same! I am glad my contract is up the 20th of this month and am not excited ever to get back on! YUCK... save your money, network and do bridal shows.
Hello I am a 2022 bride. The knot was working amazing for my wedding planning until it wasn't. I found out the hard way that they apparently LIMIT HOW MANY VENDERS YOU CAN CONTACT. No where online or anything can I find anywhere that would've warned me of this. Now I'm at the 6 month mark before my wedding and I only was able to book the florist through the Knot. I still am scrambling for catering, dj, hair, makeup, and desserts and I'm left unable to message anyone new! How ridiculous! If I had been aware of this I would've been smarter about who I messaged. And half the people I messaged didn't even get back to me to begin with so that's just a wasted message. I'm honestly pissed.
My fiancé and I have not received our funds, and it has been a month and a half. I have called, and it goes to voicemail. I have emailed the company as well. Today I called and pressed the number to advertising, and someone immediately picked up the line. She would not help me, but transferred me to the number where it was voicemail again. Do not use this company!
I had pretty low expectations (just with online helpdesks in general), but TheKnot has EXCELLENT customer service. Everytime I had a question, someone responded via email within 20 minutes with a detailed explanation on how to do whatever I was asking.
If you live in Canada, and can't do a cash registry, then they let you make a hyperlink to an alternative site! They're super helpful and everything I asked, they had a solution for. I don't usually write reviews, but I was very pleasantly surprised with The Knot.
They basically broke their website database knowingly for an upgrade that will be released on a date that it not determined. So if you have a current site with them that is broken, with incorrect info, formatting problems and missing RSVPs... their response is too bad. They prioritized this transition in an easy manner for them and RUINED websites of many people with eminent weddings who were replying on the knot. DO NOT TRUST THEM. Beware.
Read Yelp and Google, and trust Pilot reviews. Go to BBB and scroll past all of the fake 5 star reviews to the 1 star ones written about the true nature of this company's business practices. They are all the same story; over and over. Go to their customer complaints on BBB and read those. These people are NUTS, dishonest, unethical, liars, and have serious business practice issues.
Save your time and money, and piece of mind and DO NOT do business with them.
Answer: My honest opinion... do not use theknot.com for your wedding. It crashes often and can be extremely frustrating. Believe me... I used it and was locked into using it because it was on all of my invitations. My best advice: use weddingwire.com. But, if you're not going to listen to my advice or are locked in and stuck as I was, go to your wedding website (not in preview mode) and click on guest list from the dashboard... well... After 9 attempts, TK will not load properly so that I can step you through it (everything else on my computer works great). Sorry, that's all I have for you. I hate theknot.com!
Answer: Tell them the same thing they say to you when you contact them for help in any way! "I don't think it is in our best interest! You are on your own... Good luck with that!"
The Knot has a rating of 1.7 stars from 375 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with The Knot most frequently mention customer service, credit card and wedding wire. The Knot ranks 79th among Wedding Planning sites.
