The Knot supports cyber-bullying and is even proud of it, naming one of their community boards "Snarky Brides" formerly "B*tchy Brides" which only serves as encouragement to those who engage in it. After putting up a profile in which I stupidly listed our venue, a member of the Knot community used the information to try and contact our venue and cancel the wedding, unaware that I worked there and received the call personally. Repeated phone calls to the Knot did nothing and the group of women there picked on numerous brides, myself included, all while the moderators and company did nothing. While I understand that they cannot moderate everything, the fact that they cater to it, naming the board "Snarky Brides" indicates that they are in fact proud of this and encourage it. The free tools and advice are not worth it. While you're at it, boycott their sister sites, The Nest and The Bump--also with similar issues.
Folks, stay away form companies without integrity!
Everything was going so well at first. I asked about 200 of my past customers to put a review out there to build a great profile to draw in clients. Which several did. Now most of them are now married and moved on but several of them who put reviews out there used a temporary email or a bogus one because they did not need the spam the The Knot creates. (makes total sense).
I received a negative review but what we presume was an agree guest and she put her anger into a review which was clear. The Knot Review manager Molly so called looked into it and requested documentation. LOL How do you document behavior issues and incidents at a wedding? So Molly got all defensive and wrote a 2 pages line of crap on why the review would stay. During her long letter she clearly admits that "the majority of reviews have frauds names, emails and dates" oh yes she just admitted that the company knows most of the reviews are FAKE!
Sp if they know this then why allow it? So I took this up were her immediate director and guess what. The mad dog Molly removed all but 4 reviews and left the crappy ones up there.
Please do not use them. Wedding wire has a better system where customers only that are legit hired can review you.
We went with Cirino Photography for our wedding photos and let me tell you we had the absolute best experience with them. They were extremely professional and we could definitely tell they knew what they were doing. They were both extremely energetic and fun which made the whole experience that must better. They released all 1,060 pictures that they took to us and their editing was impeccable!
Scott and Marybeth were out photographers and they were awesome! They traveled everywhere we wanted to go and knew exactly how to pose us. We received our photos a week later and they were absolutely gorgeous! We also received 3 canvas pictures, an album, free engagement photos and a photo booth with our package. HIGHLY RECOMMENED!
Horrible website builder. No options. It used to be good then they changed it, and didn't tell anyone, and screwed a lot of people.
Don't create your website here, not a trustworthy site, doesn't care about users, doesn't respond to request for help. Doesn't answer questions submitted through website, just says "contact us via email" and never responds. STAY AWAY WITH EVERY OUNCE OF YOUR BEING.
Extremely disappointed with The Knot Pro services. When I was signing up they were sure fast and quick to help but when I needed to reach out, it took over 3 voicemails for them to tell me that they have no "record" of my calls. Of course. DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES! WASTE OF YOUR TIME & MONEY! Would never recommend this for anyone I know. Disappointed and unsatisfied.
I JUST WANTED TO CHECK ON VENUES, NOW EVERYTIME YOU TYPE MY NAME ON GOOGLE OR ANY SEARCH ENGINE IT SHOWS EVERYTHING ABOUT MY WEDDING... I LITERALLY SENT 30+ EMAILS TO THEM AND THEY HAVE NOT TAKEN THE ACCOUNT DOWN... THIS VIOLATE YOUR PRIVACY! THE WORST WEBSITE...
I WORK IN A LEGAL SERVICES OFFICE AND WE PERFORM WEDDINGS AND I WILL TELL EVERY SINGLE CLIENT WHO IS GETTING MARRIED TO NOT GO TO THIS WEBSITE... IT JUST RIDICULOUS!
Thank you so much to Abby and Big Fun Brass Band in New Orleans. They just played for my surprise proposal event for my (now) fiancé.
I reached out to Abby a few months ago, describing my vision about what song I wanted the band to learn and also about how I wanted everything to transpire.
Abby was super professional and communicative with regard to everything: logistics, a contract, the band (the band is AWESOME) and the experience of being part of a Second Line and walking down the streets of New Orleans.
Lastly - I'm a musician myself and really appreciate Abby's professionalism and ability to coordinate everything and making it so easy for me so that I could simply enjoy things.
I recommend Abby and the band with the highest regard.
Ordered invitations and those came out great! But had to make a reorder and there is no way of doing so. I have done EVERYTHING their customer service personnel has told me and would STILL have to remake my entire design. There should be a reorder button right in the previous orders menu. THIS IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO FRUSTRATING and I wish I went another route now bc this has taken days!
OMG I'm going through my guest list and everything has been fine until now! I have a website which I do love, but this guest list is really p*$$&^g me off. I'm trying to update it, and add who has accepted or declined RSVP's and the pop-up they use to edit the info keeps reverting to an ad pop-up and there's no way to bring it back to the previous page without exiting out of their pop-up page and reopening it, which in some cases the same stupid ad comes up! SO FURIOUS AND ANNOYED!
I ordered napkins for our daughter's Wedding. I ordered these kind of last minute and was a little leary they wouldn't make it on time so I added $2 for a rush order just in case. They arrived a day earlier then we had planned and the color, their names and date are PERFECT! Such a Happy customer right now! JOB WELL DONE!... THANK YOU!
Answer: My honest opinion... do not use theknot.com for your wedding. It crashes often and can be extremely frustrating. Believe me... I used it and was locked into using it because it was on all of my invitations. My best advice: use weddingwire.com. But, if you're not going to listen to my advice or are locked in and stuck as I was, go to your wedding website (not in preview mode) and click on guest list from the dashboard... well... After 9 attempts, TK will not load properly so that I can step you through it (everything else on my computer works great). Sorry, that's all I have for you. I hate theknot.com!
Answer: Tell them the same thing they say to you when you contact them for help in any way! "I don't think it is in our best interest! You are on your own... Good luck with that!"
The Knot has a rating of 1.7 stars from 375 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with The Knot most frequently mention customer service, credit card and wedding wire. The Knot ranks 79th among Wedding Planning sites.
Hi Abigail. I'm so sorry for any confusion. Our in-house design team would be happy to pull up your previously customized designs if you need to reorder more!
The best way to reorder your custom items is to just order through our site like normal, with your correct quantity (the minimum quantity is 15). You will click the Personalize button but won't actually have to make any changes in the editor. Once you are on the editor page, please indicate in the Design Note section that this is a reorder and you want to use the custom proofs we created for you before, referencing your previous order number. Then click Review + Save, and proceed to checkout. This will serve as a placeholder for your custom design.
After your order is placed, we will follow up over email to confirm that no changes are needed from your previous order. I hope this information helps. If you need any help with your order, please feel free to email help@theknot.com. We'd love to resolve this with you!
