I had read most of the reviews that were mainly negative and that made me feel uneasy, as I had read them after ordering my sofa table and thought I'd have to go in circles if anything was wrong with it... but I had no need. Speaking with the person who took my order was friendly, I was informed by email about the order, approximate date of delivery more than twice. Many complained about the shipping boxes their item came in yet I found the shipping box to be very sturdy, secure and not banged up. Upon opening the box, I found the table to be in tact, no parts missing, all the screws, along with directions were in there. The table is very heavy, looks impressive and of good quality and design. I could find no faults.
BEWARE! Horrible company, horrible customer customer service. PayPal should suspend doing business with them. Still waiting after 2 months for my refund... which by the way was significantly less than the money spent because of the "restocking fees" they cleverly hide when you order.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE - They are scam. I bought a table for 632$ and it arrived seriously damaged. I called customer service to get a new table / refund but they refused to do so stating that I damaged the table?!?!? Unacceptable!
I ordered a quantity of one and received two of the identical items. It took several phone calls and even more emails to get one of them returned and my money reimbursed.
Going online enabled me to find towel bar set that had 4" back plates so I could cover the holes made by my old towel bars. This enabled me to keep the wallpaper I love!
I ordered a workbench from this company and the service was terrible. The workbench they sent had damaged parts, bent pieces and screws that didn't fit. I was able to put it together with my own parts, but followed up to discuss the situation with their customer service. First, the "live chat" person was super rude and said there was nothing they would do other than refund me my money if I shipped back the product. I informed her that I'd found the damaged parts half way through putting it together and had figured out how to complete assembly so sending it back was not an option. She said there was nothing they could do and that if I called they would tell me the same thing.
I called, and the person I spoke to on the phone asked me to send pictures of the damaged goods. I did this, and never heard back. I followed up, and was told they would process a 20% refund to my credit card. I was fine with this and moved on. Three weeks later the credit had not been processed. I followed up and was told that my refund had actually NOT BEEN APPROVED, after they told me it was. I told them that this was ridiculous and that I would not be ordering again and they seemed indifferent.
I will not order from here again.
I wish I had read the reviews before I shopped! I do almost all my home and personal shopping on-line and of the literally thousands of purchases and internet shopping sites I've used, lighting universe (of atg stores) was BY FAR the WORST experience I've had.
I ordered two pendants which turned out to look extremely different than the on-line picture and description. I spoke to a very nice woman (too bad she works for a fraudulent company) who asked me to send a picture of the glass shade I received. She agreed that it looked nothing like the picture and had the manufacturer send me a replacement thinking that the first was a mistake. The replacement arrived and looked just like the first (not just a little different than the picture, but bad... downright ugly!)
At this point I emailed the woman who had been helping me and told her I needed to get a return authorization. I was then told that the "free" shipping I had gotten on the order was going to be subtracted from my refund and that I needed to pay for the return since the product was not defective. (Not defective maybe, but not the product I ordered!)
End of story, I paid more for shipping than the original cost of one of the lights and I ended up with no lights. This company claims free shipping and no hassle returns. They lie. This company is a catastrophe. Buyer beware!
Dining Room Chairs arrived quickly and were exactly as described. Liked the color and appear to be made well. Comfortable to sit on and hopefully will wear well.
I ordered about forty handles for my kitchen cabinets. They came in and the measurements listed were wrong. By the time I received them, I only had 10 days to return them (to meet the 30 days return policy). When called to return, I got the worst customer service. The rep. Named Vickey had such a nasty attitude that I wanted to go off on her. I still gave her the benefit of the doubt and tried to sympathize with her. She was claiming that she just came back from lunch and phones have not stopped ringing as if she is owed something. After some time working on her attitude, she turned very cooperative (or as I thought). She told me she is going to call me back in a few hours to give me a return reference number. Needless to say, I have placed numerous calls, asked to speak with a supervisor to no avail and each time had to speak to another rude person yet. I disputed the charges with my credit card company today and see what happens. DO NOT SHOP WITH THIS COMPANY or will be disappointed.
I have to say that we had a very positive experience with ATG. I had ordered two stools for our kitchen, which were shipped directly from the manufacturer at no charge. They arrived about four days after I placed the order.
I assembled one of the stools, which was somewhat bigger than I imagined. It's difficult to get a sense of scale when ordering furniture online, even with the dimensions listed. My wife and I agreed that the stools would be too big for our smallish kitchen area.
So I called ATG and got Marcie on the line. She was very pleasant and helpful and asked me to repack the stool in its original box. Apparently, it is important to retain the original packing materials if you intend to return an item. Luckily I had the box and its stuffings in the basement.
Marcie then emailed me pre-paid return labels for the boxes-- all I had to do was bring them to the local UPS store.
I received my credit card refund less than a week later-- you have to admit that is quicker than most vendors. The return shipping on the two boxes (each of which must have weighed close to 40 lbs.) was only $35 or so, which was deducted from my refund. ATG never retroactively charged me for the cost of sending the product to me in the first place, which I thought was generous of them.
I have to say that ATG did everything I would hope an online vendor would do to address my problem. With their excellent prices, i would be glad to do business with them again.
They advertise Best Price Guarantee, price match + 10% off. THIS IS JUST TO MAKE YOU THINK YOU ARE GETTING THE BEST PRICE! I found a website that beat them by $200. When I asked for price match plus 10% off, they tried to tell me that since the other website was based out of OHIO only, they couldn' t price match.
Their terms state that it only needs to be a US retailer (ie, not Amazon)... not on sale... and in stock. I fell within all guidelines of their guarantee. They made excuses to not honor their 10% PRICE GUARANTEE

THE WORST store I have ever dealt with. Just part of the many, many others having the same problems with returns or defective products. They DON'T CARE once they have your money - which they take immediately!

Item color was misrepresented online. Before placing initial order, called ATG Stores and specifically asked about return policies. After placing order, never received an invoice. One month AFTER order, they emailed that item was BACK ORDERED. Two weeks later, they emailed shipping notification. Two weeks after that, FINALLY received item, only to see that color was not as online. Called and was told that return shipping would be $300-$400. Emailed company to dispute return fees based on misrepresentation of item color and return policies. Have been calling for two weeks, only to have matter unresolved. Customer reps do not give you full ordering/returning information, do not respond in timely matter, do not understand customers issues, refuse to resolve issues in an ethical way. I was also hung up on by customer rep, placed on hold for a long time just to reach a manager, was given attitude when finally speaking to manager. Unfortunate situation could have been prevented if company was honest about return policy when asked. After my own experience and reading bad reviews on this site, I would advise EVERYONE against ordering from this company. They will give you the runaround as others have said and call it "BUYERS REMORSE."

Absolutely an awful establishment. I recommend to use one of the many other stores available which provide at least decent service. When I placed an order with them online, my order confirmation at the time was fine, but they ended up doubling the order (no I did not click send twice, I've been ordering online for 14 years and never had an ordering problem). The associates I spoke with were quite rude and unhelpful, and of course blamed me and even hung up on me; management did not contact me after I was promised they would (I also e-mailed multiple people in the company without a single response). Now I am stuck with a doubled order (FedEX left it all in front of my door without a signature), and at this point I guess all I can do is dispute the charge with AMEX. Also, I just bought a $300 bookcase from Amazon instead of using ATG stores, so congratulations on the lost business ATG! I also need to buy a bed, bed-stands, secretary's desk, and some other furniture, all of which I will not be buying with ATG of course (fool me once and all). As you can tell, I am quite fed up with them at this point, and only want to waste my time now on buyer beware reviews (yes, I have a vendetta now). Anyway, I hope this review causes possible ATG customers hesitation before ordering with this company... Do not make my mistake!

The staff was helpful in helping me find the correct isles to shop for what I was looking for. However, 2 of the 4 items I was hoping to get Lowe's did not carry.
I love the ability to see so many options and make selections based on so many parameters. Once ordered the product comes quickly and well packed. I love ordering through ATG!
I had a great experience with ATG. They worked with me. My product came on time. One of the light had a chip on it and they sent me out a new one. No problem!
Very happy with my sofa as good as new took a bit longer than expected but delivery was over 100miles for £89 what do you expect. Saved over £650 very happy.
I had quite a few problems with this company and will definitely never order from them again! The first problem was that my item was backordered for a month, not a huge deal since at least I knew when it was coming. But then when it was supposed to be delivered, I had to continuously call (over 10 times) asking where it was while they gave me the run around. I would speak with someone who claimed they would check with the shipper or manufacturere and call me back with an update. No one ever called back. I waited approx. 2 weeks for them to figure out where the shipment was, only to be told that they LOST it and it would take another few weeks to file a claim, and then send a replacement. I was told I could not get a refund since the product had already shipped. I was finally able to speak to a supervisor, after numerous requests, who agreed to process a cancellation since the replacement item had not left the manufacturer. This part was pretty quick, I received a refund within 2 days. The only problem with that was they took out the costs (about $75) for white glove delivery and shipping on the item that I never received. Still working on getting that back. This company is TERRIBLE. Over 2 months of hassle and I end up losing out on $75.
I keep returning to this store for the fair pricing and the wide selection on literally everything I need! The service is excellent and the shipment is immediate.

The selection is great, big plus. The website is really just ok. It is hard to find what you want. It's hard to get back to what you looked at. The search is pretty bad.
My order was received promptly, in great condition and the quality of the furniture pieces was superb. Very satisfied and will continue to order in the future.
I ordered this Sofa on December 9th, 2013. It was supposed to be shipped on December 15th, 2013. On December 30th, I call ATG and they tell me the item is on backorder and won't be shipped out until January 15th, 2014. No one contacted me to tell me this. I figured I would wait since it wasn't that much longer. On January 17th, 2014 I call ATG to check on the status and they tell me it is on backorder again but now it won't be shipped till February 23,2013. The rep doesn't offer any other options except cancel or wait. I had to cancel the order because I am not going to wait for several months to get a couch. The listing here still shows the couch is supposed to get shipped out on January 23rd. RIDICULOUS! This is the worst customer service I had ever experienced. Do yourself a favor and don't shop here!
Ordered a light fixture from them two weeks ago for a home remodel job. The first one arrived in a box that looked to have been previously returned. Opened it anyway and sure enough the item was scratched and actually written on with a black marker. I could not believe my eyes. I immediately called ATG customer service and was hold for over 30mins. This should have been a clue... The gentlemen processed the RMA and ordered me a replacement. The replacement arrived and picked it up and heard broken glass. Did not even open it. Called them and the lady immediately had an attitude with me like it was my fault. In fact, it was suggested that I take the "good" parts and make a good one and return all the bad parts to their supplier. Meanwhile, I had paperwork on our desk from Kichler stating the problem with the original unit and must be returned as documented. "Scratched" I was floored. At this point, both fixtures are being sent back and a call to our credit card company has been made as they sent us damaged goods both times. Now, I am buying a fixture from my local distributor at a higher price and losing money on the job. Never will I buy from again and neither will any of my workers.
These guys are drop shippers you have no idea what you will get...
I had a merchandise credit that I wanted to use towards my new purchase of lights. I found a lower price at two different online and physical stores. They say they will price match it but they really don't want to. They tried to tell me that the free shipping that the other sites were offering was only until the end of the month. It was early in the month when I was placing my order with them. They wanted to charge me for shipping even though they offer free shipping themselves. Then they finally agreed to price match but told me I couldn't use my credit. I threatened to go to my charge card company to get a credit applied to my charge and then they called back and said they made a mistake I could get the price match and use my credit. Unfortunately they still billed my credit card for the full amount of my purchase and didn't apply the merchandise credit. I sent ATG several emails and called them but they never corrected the matter. I ended up disputed the charge with my charge card company and received the credit back from them. ATG has the worst customer service of any company I have ever done business with. They always have to check with someone before they can process an order or answer a question. Then they don't even do what they say they are going to do. Will never do business with them again! Good bye ATG stores and your terrible customer service. I will shop elsewhere.
