I had read most of the reviews that were mainly negative and that made me feel uneasy, as I had read them after ordering my sofa table and thought I'd have to go in circles if anything was wrong with it... but I had no need. Speaking with the person who took my order was friendly, I was informed by email about the order, approximate date of delivery more than twice. Many complained about the shipping boxes their item came in yet I found the shipping box to be very sturdy, secure and not banged up. Upon opening the box, I found the table to be in tact, no parts missing, all the screws, along with directions were in there. The table is very heavy, looks impressive and of good quality and design. I could find no faults.
BEWARE! Horrible company, horrible customer customer service. PayPal should suspend doing business with them. Still waiting after 2 months for my refund... which by the way was significantly less than the money spent because of the "restocking fees" they cleverly hide when you order.
Just DONT! I have never had such bad service anywhere. My dresser arrived damaged I took pictures immediately and sent them at their request on 1/13/11. I did not hear back so called every week for 5 weeks with no resolution and a different employee every time. I doubt anyone really hangs around for long. 6 weeks later I find out they are not going to replace it because the shipping company will not pay for damages. The box it came in was not damaged, but the dresser inside the box was. STAY AWAY FROM THIS RIP-OFF!
We are building a home, so we have bough a lot of stuff online. The quality of the companies has been very broad... ATG has been one of the very best. They get you the product you order in a very timely fashion. Customer service can be reached when necessary, not a 3 hour hold. Great company. Would recommend highly.
Very back return policy: I purchased a window curtain pole for $70. We did not open the box because it was apparent the pole would not fit our purpose through the transparent package and returned for $ 47.87 after ATG discounted the "Orig. Shipping Charges" and "Restocking Fee", not considering the $11 shipping I incurred to ship the stuff back.
Their policy of charging your credit card upon order receipt isn't fair -- I've ordered two products recently, both have now been canceled as the products are now listed as "discontinued", but the charges remain on my credit card. They claim it takes one week after cancelation to reverse the charges -- I think this is an unjust way to improve their cash flow! They should charge your credit card when the product ships like most on-line merchants...

I ordered a dining set over Black Friday, then noticed they offered a better Cyber Monday deal. Live Chatted with the company, and they issued me a credit for the difference!
Then, when my order arrived (which took under a week, by the way!) I noticed the bench was damaged in shipping. Emailed the company, and they arranged a replacement bench to be shipped from the manufacturer in the next few days. Easy peasy!
I saw several bad reviews for themine.com and was REALLY apprehensive about ordering from this site, but my worries are put to rest. I could not ask for better customer support or a better online experience. Highly recommend!

They offer great quality items. I have had to return a couple items that were damaged in shipping and the customer service staff was very helpful and replaced the items easily and quickly.
ATG Stores matched the price (plus a small discount) I could get from Amazon on a bundled order. However, ATG got the color of my cabinet handles wrong. When I called they, expeditiously made it right. Another frustrating thing is that ATG stores will not take Lowe's gift cards.
I ordered my table end of October and due for delivery by Nov 17. Never received it or got notification. Called to check on it a week ago and supposedly it was damaged enroute but noone told the Mine or me. I was supposed to get a follow-up call this past week on the order status but still nothing. Good thing I wasn't planning on having Thanksgiving dinner around that new table! Maybe next year.
I had a similar problem to everyone else. First, they charged me immediately for the product I ordered, and then didn't ship it to me for a month. Then it was the wrong color, so I set up an exchange. They told me to order the right color and they would refund my money when I sent back the old knobs. Guess what, they never refunded my money after I sent back the old knobs. After weeks of e-mailing back and forth, they finally said since it was past 30 days (they waited to ship it to me for 30 days) that they would only give me store credit for HALF the price of the merchandise. I filed a charge dispute with VISA and got my money back. I will never do business with this company again.

I was also very pleased with the prices since I had been price checking all my items on other sites.

We placed order for a fire pit on 5/29 that the website indicated would ship by 5/31. On 5/31 we received an order status update indicating the ship date would be 6/3. I went online to verify that the item had shipped on 6/3 only to find that the ship date had been changed to 6/11 (no notification was sent to us). We then called Customer Service to request they confirm the actual ship date and were told that they showed 6/3 (even though the website order status reflected 6/11). They were going to verify and return call; did not receive return phone call so we called again on 6/7. Again told they would verify and return call; no call received. On 6/8 we received an order status update indicating item was on back order and would ship 6/30. Credit card was changed on 5/31 despite the fact that item had not shipped (and apparently would not ship until 6/30). Very poor customer service; will not use site again.

I looked for months for the right counter stools for our kitchen remodel. I was looking for stools that would fit under the counter top, adjust up and down, have a back rest and swivel. Tall order, but ATG fit the bill.
Arrived in a couple of days and we are very satisfied with our purchase.

We had a major rehab on out house last year and we ordered a variety of supplies/fixtures to make our place a home. I had to call customer service many times and I always received prompt and helpful service. I check the website whenever I need something.
Unequaled Customer Service. Purchase a light fixture which arrived promptly, but much to my dismay arrived with the wrong installation instructions thereby causing one of the parts to break. I called ATG stores without much hope and the part was replaced at no cost to me. I was flabergasted. Thank you very much. Totally un expected.
The site says the desk I wanted will ship in 1 to 3 days. After ordering, my tracking page says the item won't ship for 2 months! The public page still says 1 to 3 days.
I called for cancellation, and they claimed it would take 5 days to "process." I immediately called the credit card company to dispute the charge.
These people are scam artists. Avoid!
I ordered over a 100.00 Queen 2 inch mattress topper which was latex and specialized because I did a lot of research on what I needed for my back. I waited 2 weeks for it to arrive. When it arrived it was a 4 inch topper that was blue and memory foam and twin size. Not what I ordered at all and I looked at my receipt and my original order had been changed from latex to memory foam after google shopping so originally I would not have gotten what I ordered at the time I ordered. Buyer beware! Scam I will never use google shopping again only amazon!

This company does not deserve even one star. I purchased some rugs and a table set from them in November. Tables were delivered damaged. I called them on numerous occasions and every time they told me different things. At first they told me that they will pick up the tables. When I called them a week later they told me to donate the tables to Salvation Army and email them pictures and SA receipt. It's been 2 months and I still did not receive a refund from ATG. I emailed them about my return, called them and I still do not have an answer. I saved all emails between me and ATG representatives and disputed my credit card charge through my credit card company. I think that ATG is a terrible and dishonest company. I am very disappointed. ATG SUCKS!
Whenever I need anything I look at the ATGStores.com site first. It is a great site, with great products and great prices (often better than in stores). It is easy to find what you want, order it, receive status and have your item arrive at your door as ordered in perfect condition. A real pleasurable experience.
I have to agree with any negative comments. I found what I thought was a deal on cabinet hardware on website where they were a "marketplace seller" (I believe they've been thrown off that website). Everything was CLEARLY listed in lots of 10. I ordered maybe 10 lots of 10. I received one of each item only, basically 10 percent of my order. I sent messages several times. I finally got a response over 2 weeks later. Oops, sorry that was wrong. They'll send a label to return. I pointed out that they should fulfill my orders since it was not my mistake but I've yet to hear back from that message. UPDATE: After two MORE weeks, finally got a response to the last email saying sorry, they wouldn't fulfill the order but they would send a return label, which took two more days. But ONE MONTH and 4 days later, I still don't have my money back.
I also bought a mortised doorknob a couple of years ago directly from their website. It started coming apart in a matter of weeks.
I've tried 2 times to order outdoor lights. The first time I was charged which was fine but then after a month I received a notification email that the item was backordered and they cancelled my order and took another 10 days to get a credit back. Then the last times I reordered as they were "coming in stock" soon and was charged again. 60 days later I'm told that the items were still on backorder for another month and if I cancelled (again already paid), I would not be able to receive a discount. So essentially I'm floating them money for 120+ days? WTH?
Avoid the bait and switch and "expected" in stock dates and go elsewhere.

Ordered a ceiling fan Saturday. I get an email on Monday that the product will ship the following Monday. I called and cancelled the order as soon as I received this email. I get a new email the following day stating that the product has shipped.
Now I have to return it at my expense. Never again!
I was very pleased with my experience. My package came quickly and was in great shape. Of course my item was of top quality and I will certainly use the site again as I look for a patio table and more.
