I had read most of the reviews that were mainly negative and that made me feel uneasy, as I had read them after ordering my sofa table and thought I'd have to go in circles if anything was wrong with it... but I had no need. Speaking with the person who took my order was friendly, I was informed by email about the order, approximate date of delivery more than twice. Many complained about the shipping boxes their item came in yet I found the shipping box to be very sturdy, secure and not banged up. Upon opening the box, I found the table to be in tact, no parts missing, all the screws, along with directions were in there. The table is very heavy, looks impressive and of good quality and design. I could find no faults.
BEWARE! Horrible company, horrible customer customer service. PayPal should suspend doing business with them. Still waiting after 2 months for my refund... which by the way was significantly less than the money spent because of the "restocking fees" they cleverly hide when you order.
I am always looking for unique items whether it is furniture or décor pieces and ATG seems to always have just the right thing. Their prices are very reasonable and shipping is free.
Well, I guess I should have checked this site first before ordering. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU HAVE SEEN THE ITEM IN PERSON ELSEWHERE and are 100% SURE it is as described. Plenty of companies sell the same item and will take returns in orignal packing and condition. I ordered a bath tub that was described as 60". When it came, the back was so sloped a child could not bathe comfortably in this tub. No adult human could use this tub. Less than 30" bathing room. I cannot imagine why they make this. (Hydro systems, Deanna) It is still in original packing, never out of the box. As of now, company not returning calls. Would love to come back and post that they made a reasonable accomodation for me. Would be happy with a store credit. As of now, I cannot recommend dealing with this company or the manufacturer. The item is not as described, and at $1200, this is quite the learning experience.
My experience with ATG has been just like all the others on this site. I believe this is the worst customer service I have ever received. I have been refused the opportunity to talk with a manager multiple times. I have been hung up on twice, all the while maintaining my own professionalism. I eventually waited on hold for 56 minutes before a manager took the call. That help did not lead to any better service. I get the impression that the customer service reps give out any name they think of, tell numerous lies (such as the item has already shipped, you will get an email confirmation tonight, etc) over and over. After a month and a half of getting the run around I eventually called the manufacturer and let them know my experiences. All the times ATG told me they were calling the manufacturer were completely untrue. There was no record of any call or inquiry from ATG. The manufacturer was interested in the info and I suggested that they look into online ATG reviews. The manufacturer was very responsive, friendly, and helpful. Within minutes they gave me a tracking number for the merchandise they are overnighting to me. It seems that ATG does absolutely nothing to help their customers once they have their money. Perhaps it may get their attention if enough suppliers put the heat on them or take their business elsewhere.

AN ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE... I am so sorry that I ever stumbled across the ATG Stores website. My experience has been absolutely terrible. I ordered a sideboard and specifically requested white glove delivery - because I was leery about ordering online and was concerned about what would happen if the item arrived damaged in any way. I was told I would be able to examine the item upon delivery. My order got screwed up and it was sent UPS - you guessed it, upon taking it out of the packaging, it was damaged. I have been hung up on, lied to, and told several different stories depending on who I have spoken to. And now I am trying to work through the return process, which I have no faith in. I really wish I had done my homework this time. I will contact the BBB and whomever else I need to contact to get this resolved. I see I am not alone judging by all of the complaints all over the internet. Shame on you ATG Stores.

They cash your money and never deliver. After many months I had to cancel because they keep pushing the delivery date by many months. We are basically loaning them money for free.

These people deserve less than a star. They took my money, promised to refund it when I had to cancel my order (items discontinued) but they didn't.

We purchased a dining room table and chairs set – the charge was posted on the credit card same day of the Internet order. We called a week later to get a status on the order because the shipping tracking number they (ATG) provided was invalid. They could never provide a clear answer as to where the merchandise was or when it would ship.
Two weeks later they said that the shipping company had the order, and gave us a direct number to contact the shipper. When we called the shipper, they advised us that they did not have our merchandise and we were not even in the system. Called ATG again and then they said that the manufacturer had the product picked up. However, another rep advised that the manufacturer did not have record of the order either.
We asked for cancellation and for ATG to credit back the purchase amount to the card. ATG's response was "Can you give us another 3 days to figure out what happened?" We demanded a cancellation of the order and I immediately contacted our credit card company and disputed the transaction.
We order products on the Internet often. This experience has been a complete joke and should be an embarrassment to ATG. But after reading all the reviews I can see that they have learned NOTHING from the feedback.
After waiting 2 weeks for my patio table to ship and countless calls to ATG, I cancelled my order when they said the table would be sent out on Monday not today even though when I called the manufacturer they said it was ready to ship waiting for ATG to be picked up by their carrier! Just wondering if I should be worried about getting my refund or if I should call me bank and start a claim now since ATG said it would take 5 days to credit my acct? Wish I had researched this $#*!ty company before I ordered a $250 table :( Lesson learned!
Absolutely appalling customer service. I have filed a complaint with Lowe's and will be filing a complaint with the BBB. I would direct your attention to yelp.com and the additional complaints that have conveniently not made it onto their website.
Purchased a light fixture from them and then cancelled the order. They shipped it anyways and refuse to take it back unless I cancel my credit card charge dispute and sign a legal affidavit taking full financial responsibility for the item that I do not want and have been trying to return. Verbal promises made to receive back the lighting fixture when I was on a conference call with my bank representative and the ATG customer care rep were then ignored once we were no longer on the phone with my bank. DO YOUR RESEARCH PRIOR TO USING THIS WEBSITE TO PURCHASE ANYTHING!
Good product and price. Bought 3, lights and 1 was defective and after contacting ATG Stores it was replaced at no charge. Would recommend them to others.
I found the perfect curtain rods for my new windows. They were delivered quickly and looked exactly like the picture. Good quality. Look great on the windows.

I ordered a dresser for my daughter's bedroom. The delivery was fast. I put it together easily and it's totally what I expected. I will definitely use ATG for future purchases.
I had wonderful experience using ATG for our whole house remodel. They had everything I needed and GREAT customer service. I will always check on their site first before any purchase in the future.
All of the items that I ordered were shipped promptly. One item arrived with a broken globe, and it was promptly replaced at no charge without a need to send the broken item back.
Placed an order in May. Was told I would have order (lighting fixture) in 10 days. It is now mid-July still do not have fixture. Would never use this site again. Horrible customer service.

I ordered a desk and it was currently on backorder at the time. The customer service representatives couldn't be any more friendly in keeping me informed during the whole ordering process.
Tried to use their best price guarantee +10% but was unsuccessful. First of all, I couldn't get a hold of them via phone nor live chat, as they prefer. Was able to email but their reply asked me for info that I already included in the original message. I re-sent the info and in their second reply, they couldn't even get my name correct. Remember this was an email, not a phone call, just scroll down! Anyway, they declined because they claimed they could not find the product #, even though it was right there in the title & description. I suspect it's really because they did not want to match/beat the competitor's price (which was $80 less than theirs, before +10%). I went ahead a bought from the competitor which offered a coupon which almost equaled 10%. I don't mind paying a little more to honest, upfront business than having to jump through hoops for a few dollars. Will not ever consider The Mine the next time I need to purchase these types of items. There are equal/better prices out there without the hassle.
My experience with ATG was very positive. The order was shipped in a timely manner and arrived in great condition as promised. There were no hidden costs and the payment transaction was accurate.
Well, I'm not usually the black sheep, but I feel like I owe a decent review.
I ordered a $150 chair from the site after I saw it was sold out or fifty bucks more everywhere else. I ordered it, and it took six days before it actually shipped, but my card was charged immediately. However, it arrived within two days of that. Plus, the shipping was free, so eight days for free shipping is still nice, especially for such a large item. The time it took to ship out might be related to the fact that it was sold out on their site a few days before I ordered it.
The biggest problem I had was with the return policy. After reading it, some of it seemed stringent and ridiculous compared to other stores. Obviously, they're a dropshipper, so returns aren't easy for them to handle, but if they'd ordered the wrong item or there was shipping damage I didn't notice until opening, I would not be happy.
Overall, though, I'm very pleased with my purchase. I still can't find the chair cheaper anywhere else. If I had to go back in time, I'd definitely order this again, but if I was going to order anything else, I'd wait until they tweak their return policy.

We ordered furniture from ATG Stores online (at atgstores.com). Cost: $1,000+. Never again.
After paying for the item, waiting several weeks, and hearing nothing, I called them and sat on hold. They told me the shipping company had dropped the ball.
Some time later, the shipping company shows up with the item. They would not take it inside and upstairs, despite the fact that we had paid for that service on the ATG website. So we refused delivery.
We called ATG, sat on hold, they blamed the shippers, and said they'd fix it.
Shippers show up a week later. The item has structural cracks in several places. I take photos, and refuse delivery.
I call up ATG, sit on hold again. I tell them I'm sick of this, and ask for a refund. They say send us photos, which I do. Still no refund.
I call a week later, sit on hold. Ask what's up with the refund. They say I don't know, put me on hold while they supposedly contact the shipper. No response.
It's more than a week later, almost two months after we paid online for the item, and still no refund.
BE WARNED.
