From start to finish horrible professionalism! We returned our first order never got our money back! Its been weeks since they received the return!
Had the worst experience. Here we are 3 months later and I still do not have what I ordered. Ordered 5 trash cans. Showed up late, and one was damaged. Did not refund me for damaged one. Even with the attached photos he still said the company was not at fault because I had not refused delivery from shipper. I couldn't tell that the trash cans were damaged when I received them because they were wrapped in protective packaging. Also missing lids for all 5 trash cans. Cal, the customer service rep is very condescending. No help at all. Made me feel inferior in every correspondence I had with him. Spend your money elsewhere!

We placed a pretty large order $4500, paid in full when ordered, took longer then they said it would to arrive, received most but not all items nor did we receive install kits which we paid for... Upon calling was told they made a mistake and were sending the items out right away. Weeks later, we recalled and were told the order was complete and weren't sending missing items. Because it went past the credit cards appeal date, we lost our money. The company is a ripp-off and no one should risk their money buying from them.
I needed two dozen coated metal benches, the website shipping estimator was showing shipping cost to be as much as each bench, basically doubling the cost of the order. I called in, and they were able to give me a bulk order discount of about $20/bench, and the shipping cost ended up a more reasonable about $40/bench, or about 20% of what the website estimator quoted me. Shipping tracking was nonexistent, but I did get a call the day before shipment, and they gave me a 4 hour window for delivery. Actual delivery date from order was just a day shy of 2 weeks. The delivery guy could only leave it in my parking lot, so I had to unpack, and move the items indoors one at a time. Two of my benches had the bag holding hardware get ripped in shipment, one of them I was able to find all the bolts, nuts, washers, but the other was short enough hardware to assemble. Not a big deal, everything was standard, so easy to get replacements at any hardware store. Surprisingly, the included hardware was all stainless steel, which will likely go a long way in extending lifespan, as those are the parts most vulnerable to rust. Then benches were advertised as thermoplastic coated metal. I'm not sure if that's really what it is, it feels like really thick powder coating to me. As I'm writing this review, my benches are all still waiting on the concrete in their in-ground mount to cure. They already feel solid, and I don't forsee any issues, but only time will tell.
We needed a few benches for our daycare center and Park Catalog shipped us some very sturdy benches for the kids.
I'd highly recommend NOT using highland Products Group (aka: www.theparkcatalog.com). I made a bike rack purchase from the Highland Products Group, LLC a couple months ago and had one of the worst experiences of the last decade. First of all, the shipment wasn't correct, but people make mistakes, so no big deal. I called to get the other 50% of my order. It was a hassle working with them, but they sent the other half (how do you forget half of a bike rack sent on an 18-wheeler?) A few weeks later, after needing customer service support a few times I found that Highland Products refused to stand behind pretty much anything they said. I was told someone would call me back multiple times and it never happened... so I called them again... and waited and nothing... and again. And nothing. Later, they refused my request to return a part or the order because "it has been over 30 days" even though THEY didn't communicate and messed up the delivery to begin with. I didn't even get the full shipment to me for well over a month. How do I return something within a month if they don't even get it to me in a month? They sounds nice on the phone (and several of them probably are nice people), but my overall experience with this company was very disappointing. When I spoke to a supervisor about my experience he did nothing. He just tried to change my mind even though he admitted the facts weren't in dispute. The quality of the product is Ok (not terrible, not great), but I didn't expect an elite product. I expected everything to go smoothly as their motto is "Our customer are our number one priority". From my experience, customers are NOT their number one priority. I was made to feel like I was taken advantage of, not valued and cheated. I've had better experiences with international tech support calls. I would highly caution against using Highland Products Group (www.theparkcatlog.com) for any of your needs. I'd caution others against doing any sort of business with them. Hope your day is great and you don't ever have an experience like mine.
