Throb is a local night club in Sarasota. They were promoting a special event to see female rapper Trina. The cost for the event was $25 for ladies $30 for men and $50 for VIP tickets. Doors opened at 10:00. We kept waiting, and waiting and there was no Trina. Time just ticked by and no one would tell us when Trina would be going on stage. Throughout the night we complained and finally at 1 we asked for our money back which the club refused. We waited a bit longer and finally left at about 2 when the club was closing and tried to get our money back, which again the club wouldn't do. I don't think it is right for a club to either falsify that an artist is there and steal people's money, or for a musician to treat their fans like that. Altogether a terrible experience for my friends and I.
