“Great dating site if you're looking to hook up with...”

Jay M.

Great dating site if you're looking to hook up with someone who lives near you, but the possibility of running into someone after a really bad date is just too high. Love the video introducing the app though.

“They banned my account for no reason”

Apple love B.
9/1/24

They took £58.99 to ugrade my profile to Tinder Plus and then they immediately blocked me. Wouldn't explain why I was blocked after five requests and when I asked for a refund, pointed me at Apple, who of course said it was none of their business. In my opinion this is tantamount to theft. Scammers. Avoid them.

I never make reviews, so read this.

I've been using Tinder for 4+ years. I have literally gotten nothing out of this app. Trust me, I am fit, my hygiene is good and i'm pretty cool. I'm confident as well. This app has been ruining that.

This app favors Women. Don't believe me? Go make an account as a Woman and you'll see how much likes you'll get.

I've probably swiped right on about 3000 Women. No meet ups, no response, no

I've probably spent over $450 in memberships, super likes and boosts. Absolutely nothing. I have 4 likes. Fake profiles or no answer.

Tinder has completely ruined my mental health. Tinder makes me feel like the ugliest person in the world.

So, the fact that the site is at least 50% fake/ fraudulent accounts is one thing, but what truly makes Tinder an absolute POS is that you can not contact an actual human being that works there without some sort of miracle. That alone should tell you its all bull$#*!.

Waste your money elsewhere.

I only spoke to scammers on it. I think younger women didn't like me swiping right on them so instead of just swiping left they reported me. The company Match Group is openly fascist and censoring. This is from their terms of service. "Tinder reserves the right to investigate and/or terminate your account without a refund of any purchases if you have misused the Service or behaved in a way that Tinder regards as inappropriate, unlawful, or in violation of the Terms of Use, including actions or communications that occur off the Service but involve users you meet through the Service." so in other words anything they don't like. It's just open censorship from the left. I included emails to and from customer service. They just ignored me rather than reply to the last one asking for any specific details for banning me.

Tip for consumers:
It's far-left fascist censorship

Tinder arbitrarily banned me. I did and said nothing that might even have remotely violated their terms of service. They had me go through a verification check to make sure I was human, which was followed by the ban. Their verification is absurd. It doesn't work and clearly their staff consists of imbeciles. Arbitrarily banning people appears to be the norm. Close down this criminal activity. In fact, they should be deleting any and all personal informal when they ban an account, but appear to retain it. Maybe it's time for a law suit, maybe a class action, against Match Group.

Good morning, I am leaving a review on Tinder due to the fact that when I updated my profile with more recent photos and said that God is number one in my life, besides my family, then I was canceled. I was informed that I had violated their agreement. But yet at the same time they play a big factor in the LGTQ whatever it's called community the lesbian gay and accept that. You do not get to speak to a person. They will just send you an email telling you that you've been banned.

I paid for the tinder site boost or premium package. (Whatever it's called) I tried only swiping right for 2-3 weeks. I have received 5 matches. That just doesn't seem possible. I'm not hideously disfigured & besides a lot of people are, I only swiped right.
Something does NOT add up. I want my money back.
PS the pic I up loaded for credibility is me at my worst, let's just say I just woke up & took it, honestly.

Purchased a subscription to see my likes, then to be told oh wait you need this package at 25 a month! They are just at it and are taking people for fools with this type of business practice, every little function you now need to pay for separately, is just a waste of money & time, this company gives you nothing in return, avoid it at all costs, going by the reviews on here it shows how terrible this company has become

Tinder was merely entertainment... didn't take it serious... was just to chat nothing more... then I met the man of my dreams... we have been together for a year and I've never been happier... he's from another state and was working in my city and we just happen to match. Would have never met him without tinder... what a blessing... point is... never know what's out there unless you are open to the possibilities. I'm so grateful

I was on Tinder for only a total of 24 hours and I realize quickly this is not the place to be. They charge me six months subscription fee for better services and then every time I wanted to text send a picture or anything else with someone I met. I was confronted with a more money more money in app purchase. Disgusting! Not only that, but the very first person who responded to me immediately asked me for my phone number with no other conversation. When I suggested that we chat a while as we were and I said it is very early to immediately give you my phone number is that OK? They immediately clicked off, and I never heard anything from them again tells me it was a scammer. Today I received text messages from somebody pretending to be a close friend or relative of a person. I supposedly spoke to on tinder. The person was very persistent and would not stop texting me, so consequently I have closed my Tinder account and I have blocked that Texter/caller And I will not go back on Tinder. Hi suggest to everybody reading this review that they stay away and I mean far away from Tinder! It's a stressful site and a truly bad nightmare! What a scam!

There are plenty of dating sites. Please don't lose your money to tinder and pay for an account. I was banned with no specific explanation. I cannot think of a single thing I did wrong to violate the terms of service or community standards. They took my money for a week's subscription, and I got an unexplained ban after three days with no refund, because I "violated the terms of service" which are extremely broad. I followed the appeal process to only get an automated response telling me to refer to the terms of service. Please don't lose your money to this app. After much digging, there are a lot of people on the internet complaining about getting banned for "no apparent reason." There are much better places to put your money.

After subscribing for a months service I tried to log in and was asked if I was a robot, 3 times it had me identify a bee in pictures then it banned me for life and told me I wouldn't be refunded.
I am currently disputing the charges through my bank since I didn't violate any policy, and it's the only way to do so.
Complete crap scam

The biggest and perhaps the worthless app! I lost almost a year on Tinder. I'm pretty sure that most profiles on Tinder are either fake or outdated. They never get deleted. Especially the attractive ones. Others are "ladies of the manor" with ridiculously picky requirements. They look down on men in search for their knight in armour. Not for the men with certain degree of self-respect.

I opened an account last night. This morning somebody didn't like what I said in my profile and report it. And Tinder asked me to copy a couple of pictures and send it to them which I did but took my account off and said it is under review. The notification I got said it would only take a few minutes and it has been over six hours. It appears that tinder is participating in censorship and banning free speech. What I said in my profile "if you got the shot swipe left and that Trump is great. I would be much more upset if I had actually paid for the service. But thankfully I was giving it a free shot. I would never pay for the service because they could take your profile down for who knows how long without rhyme or reason.

Tip for consumers:
Do not pay for tender try for free because they may take your profile down and you’re stuck with a bill

Made an account and got banned. I contacted customer service to help with this they said unfortunately we take bans seriously so I will remain banned. I tried getting this resolved as I didn't do anything so I wanted to know why this happened and they just kept repeating that line to me. Awful customer service

This business should be shut down. Anyone can scroll through any review site and see what they've been doing to people for years. Steal your money and lock your account and then sell your data. They can make up any reason they want for banning you because there is no way to fight it, and they know this. You can't contact them. They can easily deny your refund t making up lies about the ban. They are crooks. Also filled with fake scammer profiles trying to get your info and steal from you and crypto nonsense. Yes, this is first hand experience. This is a disgusting company. Never ever get on their app.

Sadly, Tinder has numerous sockpuppet accounts. If you are looking for a woman from your city you are better off searching for her at a local gym/library/club, etc than on Tinder.
I met only one genuine lady Tinder. The rest were either social misfits or scammers from all over the world, writing gibberish and demanding money.

If you use windows 10 machine, Tinder cannot add any information or text to your profile beyond photo and age. After many, many communications with them, I get the same outdated email (literally 10 times, then I stopped). When I do note I have windows 10, even auto responses stop because the company knows about their flaw. This is a horrible way to steal money collected for promised service denied.

They are aware of this criminal behavior, yet wont stop.

After five years I have discovered two very important issues. Women are not declaring their sexual preferences. Many appear to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs thus revealing that they have axes to grind due to previous relationship experiences.

90 percent of the profiles are fake. Be warned. Nigerian who claim to live in the same city. Tinder does nothing to monitor this activity. I called several people and they all had international numbers.

Constant issues with loading photos, it crashes almost every time it's used for more then 5 minutes. Quite often then whomever you were waiting to see their pictures load, & you think you might really like this one, the whole thing crashes. You send a report they don't even respond to, & worst of it is when you log on again, that potentially special person is gone. No getting them back. You're just screwed... I could ramble on about a couple other minor grievances and annoyances but I'll leave it at that.

Tip for consumers:
Find another one of countless amounts of completely similar sites but don't even waist your time with Tinder. It is NOT as good as it sounds

Tinder definitely targets/flags women and queer folks + highly favors cis-het men (no surprise.) Be prepared to come across endless fake profiles and perhaps being banned for absolutely no reason. Customer service is garbage too

Net-a-porter.com is great possibility for person to show her/his individuality through the clothes. You can always find a unique piece of garment there, which can't be found in anyone in your local place of habit. Isn't it marvellous? Fast delivery is working at its best!

Well, Tinder will allow whores to conduct business through their web site. If you are bi or poly... you get kicked off. Very discriminating! Everybody there works for a hospital or university and they all have bastard children. Almost every profile begins with, my son/daughter is my world... so if you can't handle that swipe left. All fake people kissing each other's asses in unison. Pucker up if your going to join.
