Tinder has a rating of 1.5 stars from 546 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers complaining about Tinder most frequently mention customer service, fake profiles, and phone number problems. Tinder ranks 726th among Dating sites.
Great dating site if you're looking to hook up with someone who lives near you, but the possibility of running into someone after a really bad date is just too high. Love the video introducing the app though.
They took £58.99 to ugrade my profile to Tinder Plus and then they immediately blocked me. Wouldn't explain why I was blocked after five requests and when I asked for a refund, pointed me at Apple, who of course said it was none of their business. In my opinion this is tantamount to theft. Scammers. Avoid them.
Maybe I was swiping too fast or account was flagged fake (all pictures real, bio nice, messages too). I first noticed stagnating likes (shadow banned), then "account under review" in the morning, banned 1 hour later. Customer support doesn't respond. Guys, if you think why you see many pictures of cats and horses on Tinder…stop reporting accounts from real women
Between 2012-2016... Tinder was once fun to use and I apologize to those that never got the chance to use during those golden years.
It's obviously become a pay-to-play app and the creators did something weird w/ the algorithm that keeps women from seeing your profile unless you're a paid subscriber (a lot of money, I might add which I'm not dumb enough to give out).
So for free users... you could be a spitting image of a young Paul Newman w/ professionally-shot portraits & you're still unlikely to get more than 7 right swipes within one week. Just stick to the real world to meet women, handsome fellas!
Tinder used to be really hot. If you matched, you hooked up right away, banged your brains out, and that was it. Sometimes you'd find a keeper and that was even better. Now it's flooded with LTR types. Also, it's very poorly monitored. About half of the women say "I really don't use this site look me up on another site". Many of them point you to snap chat, or a rip off sugar daddy site. Tinder is OK, but weak management not monitoring content that directs to other sites has really downgraded the value of membership.
My newly turned 17 year old, able to just change his birthdate, find an older young person after being told it's "a easy way to get laid!" I'm at fault as a mother, but now I have a twenty year old, sexual confused young lady living w me after an abusive family life finds her on our doorstep Easter night w no where to go! I hope she's not Cat fishing my son but after only a few visits, and lots of phone conversations who knows! After giving her three weeks to come up w plan, I fear my son will be gone w her! Tinder is known for their easy hook up site! My son was encouraged to use the site from other kids at his college for easy pick ups. And yes a 17 year old is still a kid.
I thought I'd give it a try.The reviews didn't seem *that* bad. What a total waste of time and money. People from all over the country pop up on your phone, thousands of miles away. Tinder doesn't don't say where they're from. You swipe right or left depending on whether you like the way they look, but you have no way to contact them, ask questions, see where they live, communicate in any way. It's a scam as far as I'm concerned. They take your money, you get nothing in return, just photos to look at, then swipe one way or the other. The 5-star reviews you read here are probably planted and paid for by Tinder operatives. It sucks.

Just figured out that since joining Tinder im not on no less than four dating sites lol! Desperate Tinder?! Lol! Still its keeping me busy, met some really nice people (a couple of weirdos too but that's to be expected lol). Ive still not found anything as good as WeJustFit.com but a few do come close, including this one, so i'll keep plugging away I suppose until I'm swept away lol!
Tinder has revolutionized the way we find love! This incredible app has made dating exciting and accessible like never before. With its user-friendly interface and innovative matching algorithm, Tinder brings people together effortlessly. I love the variety it offers, allowing me to meet amazing individuals from diverse backgrounds. It's a delightful experience, filled with countless possibilities and genuine connections. Thanks to Tinder, my social life has blossomed, and I'm grateful for the endless opportunities it presents. Highly recommended!
I found my last gf on tinder. Great. The only problem was is she never stopped looking for matches. I think this site promotes promiscuity and undermines fidelity in our culture. It's just too easy to meet somebody who will be interested these days. Nobody bothers to try to make a real relationship work anymore. It's just out with the old and in with the new now.
I've been on tinder 2 weeks with no interest apart from a few that are not in UK. I only paid for one month at half price and have blocked any further payments. So I decided to see how fake the profile's are by spending 15 mins constantly liking every profile with out even looking at who it was and must of liked 250 women and not even one was interested to like back. Don't spend your money on this app it's the biggest fake dating site I've seen and I've been on a few. Thought this was good years ago but it needs to be removed. It's just a scam to get money like most dating sites.

Paid for tinder that has fake profiles
Okay so I just signed up for Tinder Gold which was $100... spoke to two people and got banned. Their customer service just restates what the app says that my account was banned due to " violation of terms of use". They also state they take this very seriously by apparently not their customer service. Not sure if my account was hacked or someone reported me and they are taking their word instead of reviewing my account activity. Either way I am shut out with no apparent refund process. I am not sure how companies like this are allowed to stay in business. I will call my credit card company to reverse the transaction. Horrible company don't make this mistake.

Tinder dating app
My profile was very vanilla; but, sufficient to find women mutually matching. Next step is to send a message to make the connection. Problem is that not a single "generic" message was ever delivered. I received the Ron Paul treatment. I even tried paying for the Tinder Gold only to find no difference. Got tired of trying to get a customer response from the Tinder operators. As an average guy, the chances of meeting an average woman via Tinder seems dismal. In my case, it was impossible since all my attempts to message/contact were blocked. Would be nice if Tinder would at least say why each of my simple messages was refused delivery!
Purchased 6 months gold subscription and two days later tinder banned my profile without giving any reason. Tinder is a fraudulent app with zero customer service. They just take your money and do not reply to any of your queries. Another thing which I noticed is that 90 % of profiles on tinder are of prostitutes who directly ask money for meeting. Tinder is not a dating site but a paid escort site. Guys, avoid tinder at all costs. You wont get any match or hook-up but instead you will end up spending hundreds of dollars with zero outcome.
For the men out there I suggest you don't waste your time unless you have nothing better to do. This site is absolutely worthless when it comes to results. I've probably tried contacting 500 women and only received two responses which of course at that moment would cost money to reply and I'm talking about five dollars for every message you send. They give you women to chose from but I guarantee that 90% are bots. Don't waste your time!
The app itself is a great idea. Unfortunately it doesn't work. Mechanically. There are SO many bugs and crashes that you are guaranteed to not have one single unencumbered visit. I've had it for a month, support never responds to issues and clearly does nothing to fix them. WORST SERVICE I've ever seen, pretty sure there just isn't a support team.
Very very very unimpressed, does tinder care an ounce about it's customers?
Tinder today is a major SCAM. Misleading you into a basic membership which the infer gets you started I t just gets you in the door. See someone you like, want to send a message, pay an extra additional monthly fee. Got a like from someone, want to see who, pay yet another additional fee.The ignore bother age and distance requests you entered and many of the images and/people have been on the site for years They should be banned once upon a time it was the best app around. It's a damn shame
I learned a long time ago not to get your hopes up on online dating sites but if you remain realistic you can avoid disappointment and it makes arranging dates, when they do happen, even more special. Ive had dates on WeJustFit, Tinder, POF, etc. They do happen you just have to put in some work and be patient and positive. In short, this site is worth a try if you keep an open mind.
Nothing compares to Tinder! Don't even waste your time using other dating apps. I use Tinder for two years now and absolutely love it, especially when I am traveling. Combined with a good 'traditional' online dating site like Mingle2day it will give you a great mix of finding pleasure and a potential partner.
I've been using tinder for quite some time and I really enjoy it! I travel a lot and t's great way to meet new people as well, not necessarily to hook up, now that I am stuck at home it even lets me to change location to different countries for free, which is fun! Cool app
Complete waste of time. Full of scammers and escorts. Sure, there are real people on there too (for now), but they are mostly just interested in chatting, and the ones that do supposedly want to meet up lie on their profile and are flaky as $#*!. On top of that their UI sucks. OKCupid beats them at their own silly swipe game, and offers a lot more info to go on than a few random photos that might not even be of the user.
I met my boyfriend on Tinder. He was just killed in a motorcycle accident. Tinder has been in denial about their age verification system being broken since summer 2020. I can't access the first conversation with my now dead boyfriend. I'm 51 ffs.
I downloaded the app two days ago. I have swiped right on at least 50 women. I have chatted/texted only 6. And of those 6, their all scams. Not one original woman that's serious about a date, or anything original. I have also accounts on Zoosk & Match.com and they are exactly the same. I will be stopping my subscription to these sites, and removing them from my phone and life. The world has gone to sh-t.
The only guys on tinder are ones in the military and those who are working on high sees
Pure weirdos. One particular guys posted picture of himself as a $#*!e handsome male Shen he was in truth s black man with weird accent
I've been tinder gold member for few years, recently they asked me to rate and give my suggestions for improving and I did say few points which I think would be great to do so. But instead of replying back to me Tinder blocked and banded my account... if you don't like to listen to suggestions then why would you ask for one? I didn't say anything bad. My point was if I swipe a person 3 times left means I'm not interested in this person so don't bring it up again as its waste of time everyday swiping the same people.
The main advantage of tinder is that it's widely used. It's good that apps like these exist, but they need to cater better to women. The paying versions only help make you more prominent and increase your changes of being liked. But there is actually research to prove what most users already know - female users don't have a hard time getting liked, we have a hard time finding male profiles we like. There is absolutely no way to filter for anything, even language! In most cities the app is full of pictures of physically attractive, weird-looking men. Women almost always need more than looks to go on, for our safety apart from anything else. Until this problem is fixed a lot of women are likely to stop bothering with tinder even as it is and there is no way most of us will bother paying given that currently the paying options don't offer us anything.
With 20 billion matches to date, Tinder is the world? ۪s most popular app for meeting new people.
