“Great dating site if you're looking to hook up with...”

Jay M.

Great dating site if you're looking to hook up with someone who lives near you, but the possibility of running into someone after a really bad date is just too high. Love the video introducing the app though.

“They banned my account for no reason”

Apple love B.
9/1/24

They took £58.99 to ugrade my profile to Tinder Plus and then they immediately blocked me. Wouldn't explain why I was blocked after five requests and when I asked for a refund, pointed me at Apple, who of course said it was none of their business. In my opinion this is tantamount to theft. Scammers. Avoid them.

Have been off and on Tinder for months. App is easy to use. Have had two dates and a couple of conversations. Also on Bumble. More about that later. I communicated with a nurse for little more than a week. We appeared to get along. I noticed early signs of flakiness--ignoring request to chat directly, taking a few days to respond. She appeared to be interested, strung me along for 10 days. When I finally suggested a place to meet, she unmatched me. About three weeks later, we match on Bumble. She messages me, "Nice to meet you." I responded, "You don't remember me from Tinder?" I took the opportunity and tore her a new one. Ladies, if you're not going to be nice to people, at least have a good memory of those you treated like crap. It'll save you a lot of embarrassment.

I was only on Twitter for a couple of weeks when I was permanent banned. They gave me absolutely no reason for this. I am outspoken about my dislike of Trump and told one guy that and I was immediately banned. I am an American citizen and I have the right to engage in political speech. Watch out, Facebook, you've already been targeted for spreading Russian troll propaganda. This is outrageous. Tinder should have to explain why they are banning you and they do not.

There is nobody within a hundred miles of me, so meeting someone is out of the question. But I do enjoy the onsite game they have. First you get matched with several hundred spam accounts, and then you flag them all for spam. It's great fun.

It is difficult to obtain accurate information from Tinder. Using my Android phone attempting to unsubscribe a writing on their website instructed me to go to Google play. However Google play had severed business ties with Tinder. There are more examples.I am having a friend go to alleged address of company in West Hollywood to check if it is a mail drop. Is the real company behind Tinder in Florida? T

I discovered that there are many fake profiles on Tinder so I use it for entertainment only. After using it a while you will get a lot of matches but many of them go nowhere. It can be a numbers game sometimes.

Functionality is good and I can tell why Tinder become so popular. It is a little addictive. Like I wrote in the beginning it is perfect for entertainment. If you are serious about meeting someone, I'd still go for the traditional online dating sites. There are plenty of good options like Mingle2day, Cupid, Match and OKC.

I'm mad at Tinder! $300 down the drain. They made me believe I had many likes and I paid so I could contact these people. The majority of people who liked me on Tinder were fake and some had duplicate profiles. I talked to a few women who were downright odd and of course they looked down on an average guy like me. Trust me, I'm not too picky, ugly or rude, I go on dates through other apps and sites, but those few Tinder women who are not fake turn out to be ridiculously picky. They have nothing to offer but expect a knight in armour.

Tinder is a $#*! company. It is literally "le creme de la $#*!" of all the dating apps. I have seen fake profiles on it, I have seen only people who want sex or hook ups, I have seen women prostitutes soliciting money and sex and yet here I am an actual person seeking a relationship who did nothing wrong but have normal photos and a normal profile and I get banned with NO explanation. Makes a ton of sense! NOT! Good luck Tinder. You suck!

I've had the free version and subscription. I found that once you're not paying you rarely get any matches. I'm also on hinge and get matches frequently. Maybe it's a coincidence but I really doubt that.

Best dating app I have used so far. It is hard to find something serious though so you may wanna consider some other additional options if you are looking for a serious relationship (POF, Mingle2day). But best app to instantly get in touch with a lot of people.

Tinder is set up to suck your money I payed for the premium membership complete rubbish the only way to get any matches in your area is through spending big money on posts. It's a piece of $#*! unless you've got thousands to burn yes thousands forget it. Very very disappointed.

The girls on there are just fishing for compliments and don't respond. I'm good looking girls give me 8/10 to 10/10 and still these girls don't give you a chance. You gotta seem interested without being pushy and entertaining without being annoying and you gotta get to know them without making it seem like an interview. Ridiculous! 100% these girls just want compliments and ignore you after. Some guys manage to do all the things here by not caring and getting lucky. Good for them. But it's a waste of money because these girls have nothing to offer you anyway. You have to do everything. If you're ok with that then go ahead but you will be disappointed and upset in the end believe me.

My experience has been horrible 9 out of 10 ladies were scammers trying to get me to get off the app and move to WhatsApp or Telegram away from Tinder! I find it hard believe that Tinder hasn't been getting complaints about the women on the app? I had to learn what questions to ask these ladies to try and determine if they were scammers trying to mislead me and basically rob me…
If Tinder has become a place for ladies to take advantage of men then nobody should use this app.
I finally have given up on this site and deleted the app and will never return. I hope that other men don't get taken advantage of and that Tinder listen and start to vet these ladies better or at the very least delete their accounts when complaints are made about scamming!

A plethora of unhinged narcissists and unbelievable amount of fake profiles and probably thousands scammers. Women with face filters, photos of food and flowers feels like it's just padding out with spam profiles. If you want to meet someone on there I'd be sceptical.

It used to be a good site, but it's not the case any longer. A few real women are outnumbered by bots and scammers. The costs are not that low and it's difficult to cancel. After all the hullabaloo with Tinder I I left it. Don't play the game you can hardly win. Chances of getting a real date are very low. Chances of losing money are very high.

What a waste of time. Went through multiple profiles only to get 2 matches. Neither replied! Paid to "boost" and for unlimited likes, garnered no interest.

Basically you have to be a model to use this site. If you're not, prepare to be ignored

I had a bad experience just from the beginning, some scammer trying to redirect me to some adult site requested me to become member there and then we can talk more. Tinder will keep your likes In the back If you are free member just with one purpose {to make you pay, If you want to see them}. Good luck to anyone!

I dont know about you other folks but this is a 4/5 stars site for me. Ive not used that many dating services but id say this is my favourite along with wejustfit.com from the ones ive tried as these are the 2 sites that I keep coming back to even when I try to leave dating online behind! Ive used a few new sites there are so many now - but this is definitely a top site and id recommend it to anyone as a first site or as an alternative to whatever they are using at the moment, for sure. It has plenty of members, you can trust the company (very important when I choose a site) and everything is easy to do. Id like to see more female members in the Strathclyde area but aside from that I dont really have any complaints and will keep using it as part of my portfolio of sites that im a member of.

So unless you pay for a membership, you're basically just a bunch of monkeys in cages with your pictures being swiped out, they can't communicate with each other. I can't say that I am one of those adults that would pay for a hook up site. And that's all this is if you're looking for real love, this is not where you want to be, expect to find cheaters and creeps.

Decided to get my feet wet so I tried Tender for the first time. They have stated that I violated their policy and decided to ban me. I have verified my profile and passed their test and yet, banned for no reasons. I haven't even talked to anyone on their website so I don't even know when they meant by violating their policy. What's a SCAM in taking my money!

Tinder didn't explain why my account was banned. Did disgruntled dates "report me" for dishonest/untruthful reasons, because I didn't go on second dates with them?

I didn't post anything that violates their policy, or do anything else unethical.

I guess it is also their policy not to tell people why they are banned. Maybe it's also because I didn't have a paid subscription.

Business going elsewhere.

Apparently Tinder is a game of chance but chances of finding a genuine and decent woman are very low. It's like finding a gem in the dirt. Another pet peeve on Tinder is sudden ban for no reason and loss of all contacts. In other words, they don't have a client-oriented approach anymore. They are not responsible for anything. No cases of scam are being scrutinized. They don't provide that service they claim to provide. They used to do it 5-6 years ago, but sadly, not anymore.

I subscribed to gold and within 3 days I was blocked from using the account, for what reason? As it states tinder is geared towards hookups but to me it seems there geared towards taking your money and running. Best bit is they say they won't allow an appeal. So they take my money block me and say nothing you can do about it. Great. You want my advise DO NOT GO GOLD! Bet they don't block people who don't go gold! Money greedy!

To my opinion tinder is a $#*!, i'm not talking about what kind of guys you can meet there, of course, all people are different and maybe not possible to meet a serious guy there, but help team keeping silence and they blocked me as soon as i paid for tinder plus for a month, they blocked me twice, because of "other guys complaining", but this is not true, i was everytime very polite, trying to match an american guy, i guess americans really weird, they can complain on ur profile because you are ignoring them, but as a fact tinder team blocked me and didn't return money for tinder plus monthly subscription, they don't stay in touch and don't reply my messages. So my opinion is tinder is a $#*!!

30% of the profiles are Nigerians and they won't kick their useless profiles on there, they just leave them to trap people and scam information steal Google cards steal your banking information. Nigerians are useless I don't know why Tinder allows them to make accounts from Nigeria pretending to be American and everybody else in the world! If one of those little useless bastards tries to get you off of there onto Telegraph WhatsApp or SnapChat guarantee you it's 100% useless Nigerians!
