Tinder has a rating of 1.5 stars from 546 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers complaining about Tinder most frequently mention customer service, fake profiles, and phone number problems. Tinder ranks 726th among Dating sites.
Great dating site if you're looking to hook up with someone who lives near you, but the possibility of running into someone after a really bad date is just too high. Love the video introducing the app though.
They took £58.99 to ugrade my profile to Tinder Plus and then they immediately blocked me. Wouldn't explain why I was blocked after five requests and when I asked for a refund, pointed me at Apple, who of course said it was none of their business. In my opinion this is tantamount to theft. Scammers. Avoid them.
As a developer who frequently works with dating sites and apps I have to commend Tinder for creating a mini-revolution. Everyone uses it nowadays, and that's an achivement, so there's that. However, as with all thing online dating, the app is plagued by the same age-old problem - fake profiles. So don't count on Tinder to help you find a proper partner. The actual selections will not be that different (but more limited) than in a local pub down the road.
Guys pretty much brag about how many hookups they have gotten. Kind of sad really. Yes it's part of these sites but to outright brag about it. Pretty tactless. No thank you. And people just passing thru the area looking to hookup or even cheat on their spousea.
Im giving this 4/5 but if it hadnt been for a date I set up at the weekend then it would be lower. Personally I like tinder but there are other good options (wejustfit gets a lot of good reviews) so you dont have to always stick with tinder just because its the most famous site.
What were you expecting...?
It wont be on tinder... they make up most of it as they go along.
Trying to squeeze your emotions and credit card.
Pretty easy game for them.
Zoosk has to be the worst with fraud.
Anne Franks profile... really?
A dead 13 year old Jeoish girl posting on Zoosk, from California.
Be careful for real.
Dont get why people complain about this site. Sure, it's not as good as some of the lesser known sites like WeJustFit or Match but still, it can get you results if you play things patiently and dont expect to find the woman of your dreams in five minutes. Sure theyre a big company with big advertising budgets but you still have to make an effort. I mean come on, guys, love takes time! In my experience and ive been dating online for a long time now, you get what you put in.
Tinder in SE Asia is full of scammers and fake profiles which Tinder do not seem to be proactive in reducing or deleting... or better still preventing setting up accounts in the first place! Europe Tinder was fine and I had successful dates and made new friends. Here in SE Asia it s nightmare to be honest, fake after fake profile of supposedly CEO who cannot even spell! I have tried reporting pages but honestly Tinder are not taking this seriously. I would not recommend use in SEA.
It's really sad that this site is full of scammers portraying men in the military as well as civilians. Conversation starts out nice but beware ladies they talk a good game and then real you in to ask you for money. World has become a very sad world to have these people preyes on others.
They need to not mandate a Facebook account. I constantly have problems with FB & this means I can't communicate with my matches on Tinder. I don't even use FB because of its issues & hacks. Now people think I'm blowing them off because I can't get back into FB which means the matches are left without knowing I'm not neglecting our conversation. There has to be another way
Better than avarage online dating sites. It has a bit of work to do before it is on the same level as the very top sites that are out there (see wejustfit.com) but its still a good option IMO. If you take your time and give it a real shot (unlike some of the people that leave reviews here) then im 90% sure you can get some action on this site.
Sign up can be as simple as linking to your Facebook profile or as complicated as hand-entering all your info (which can be quickly tedious on a touchscreen keyboard)... from there it's just swiping pictures left or right depending on whether or not your find someone's pictures attractive.
That's it.
If you both liked each other, you can switch over to messaging and creating "moments" via whatever camera your device has. Since pretty much every touchscreen phone or tablet has one nowadays, you'll be off to the meat market in no time.
Tinder gives 12 persons which are blurry...to see them you have you pay...I did for a week...after that...never again blurry persons...
But something else...I am quit an interesting person I hear and believe...but my profile is hardly shown at the other sexe...
Why do I believe that...I get advertised by...pay for this and pay for that and you will be profiled as a primary person...
You have to pay extra otherwise no goal...
Several comercial advertising to buy more and more...

It's a dating site....
It is to be expected from all dating sites that there would be an occasional fake but this is ridiculous! And to add insult to injury they don't know how to write. Responses are so stupid. I have had fun with a few of them. It is very very sad that a dating site would choose to fool someone who is looking for love. Very sad indeed.
I joined to meet people and chat all of a sudden i was banned told i was posting naked photos I only had an approved face pic, then they told me i was banned for harassment, i never contacted anyone brand new account, now im told its a permanent ban, what the hell tinder is this a joke
Tip for consumers:
avoid tindedr
Apart from allowing thousands of fake profiles, any likes you might get, they are moved further down so you never get a mach unless you pay. Had 30+ likes but never managed to get to them until i paid
Tinder was fine at first but quick you went down hill. For one you're locked into a membership basically. If you don't download their app then you don't get to enjoy the qualities. Also, for what ever reason I was completely banned. I had only made a total of 2 matches being on the app with in a few hours. They banned me out of no where and didn't tell me why other than I violated the guidelines. Which I did not. Bumble is a much better app and much better choices. I'm not happy with tinder and wouldn't want anyways.
James and I, met through tinder two years ago. We wanted to thank the app, as we are very happily engaged and getting married this summer! Without tinder we wouldn't have found each other as we were both living in different parts of the u. K. so thank you very much! I really recommend this site. Here's some advice though - don't ever give up. It took me about 30 dates until I found the best man for me! Thanks tinder xxx
I met some on timder pretending to be american military. He went thru forging a military id and pics. We found the pic of his sick son was someone else's child. He also sent a bogus check to my account
Understand that the match group owns Match.com, Tinder. Okcupid and now POF
So best to avoid all this sites as they use highly unethical practices fake profiles spams and everything else don't wast years and millions of hours on fake sites much less waste your money Match.com has reviews from watchdog so they are all in business to screw over users, if you were worried about coming across a date that might screw you over imagine a whole group doing this as well as breaching confidentiality and you will get a clue! Avoid like the plague
Maybe when things opened up after the pandemic ended Tinder lost alot of profiles, so they decided to put in fake profiles. I do not know but literally even if a photo shows as verified, it can still be a fake. Its exhausting, I've had what seem like normal chats, then even a phone call and it still turns out to be a catfish or fake. They need to work on this.
Do not Trust Tinder! They block Thousands if not more for gender, race, etc. They lie and are not looking for someone over 25! I give you one billion thumbs down! They contacted me again this morning aftzr I already knew for 6 months I'm not allowed on there. Happiness is leaving this very boring site. People don't take u seriously on here!
Horrible. Lost profile 3 times because it said it couldn't update. No help from support. In fact you have to hunt hard to find it. And when I did get them I was referred to google pay for a refund because they claim they do not give them period. But there's this thing called buyer's remorse.
Tip for consumers:
Pass on it

Tinder gold
Tinder is the ideal site if you're just starting out. It has its limitations but its easy to join and use. Its the best known site for a good reason. If you're looking for something a bit more in depth with better options and more of a chance of meeting someone you'll fall in love then definitely consider going for something like wejustfit.com (really impressed by that site) but if you want something super simple to start with go with Tinder. Or do what I do and choose both :)
Tinder is hands down the most worthless app ever created. I have installed it and reinstalled it at least 10 times on a phone with no other issues on a great internet connection and it will not allow me to finish even setting up the account. And then they have enough nerve to want us to pay for an application that NEVER works! Tinder is run by scumbags.
After my last single friend got married last month I took the plunge into online dating. I dont ever want to go to another wedding that isnt my own! Im using Tinder (good) and wejustfit.com (fab) and ive already set up three dates between those two. Not sure if thats good but its enough for me and really helps as im not the bar going type and dont want to be a pet project for my married friends to help find me dates, etc. Going to give this 6 months and see what happens:-)
I paid my fees to have access to their site for 6 months. Somehow after a week I never was able to access or see who liked me and wasnt able to send/receive messages. I tried multiple times to contact somebody and then they basically just shut my account down with no refund or explanation.
With 20 billion matches to date, Tinder is the world? ۪s most popular app for meeting new people.
