I bought this professional manicure set from beurer and the quality is amazing, I got for such a good price at tj maxx, here you can find amazing things such as this. I am in love with this machine and can't wait to get my nails done with it, it comes with so many things recommended 10/10!
Recently I ordered three things from TJ Maxx on line. One item I was told would not be received with no explanation. The second order was for a set of two lamps. It took me an hour to unpack the lamps. Another 30' to put them together. Guess what! One of the lamps didn't work. I returned the lamps to my local store in Ypsilanti, MI. I was told they couldn't take the lamps back because since one didn't work they couldn't put it on the floor. Wow! I didn't break the lamp so I would be punished for returning a defective item? The cashier called the manager who ok'd the return and off I went, somewhat satisfied. The second item was 2 outside chairs described as dining chairs online but when they arrived they were very low, like beach chairs. These were heavy and I needed to get help to return them. In the store the cashier once again contacted the manager. This must have been a different manager. After quite a long wait the manager appeared and immediately began scolding me. Is that how she was trained to assist and upset customer? If so, something is drastically wrong with the training. After much nastiness on both sides the manager finally agreed to take back the chairs even though, according to her, they should have been sent back by Fedex. Despite the outcome I wanted, my interchange was so unpleasant that I will not again shop at TJ Maxx. There are many other stores who know how to treat customers and who hire managers that are kind and understanding.
So far the items I have seen on the site are not as good as the items I find in the store. And some good things in the store aren't on the website that I can see.

Hi!
I purchased a perfume with a price of $149.99 at Tjmaxx on 455 S Lake Pasadena, California. Later on I checked online the same exact perfume for the price of $129.99. So today, Monday 9/18 I come to the store. I ask for price adjustment as it's online price or I'll return the perfume. But after a long talk and the associate, her name is Magda, called the manager, Joaquin, and TOO BAD You don't do price adjustment? And the manager gives the corporate number, I called but the machine gives another number, and both are the numbers, no one is answered. How can I address this issue? YES, I opened and used the perfume, but how do I know that the perfume was not used when I bought it because it's already open box?
Another issue:
When I was helped for this issue by an associate named Magda, another associate tried to help while she was helping another customers at the different cash register. I answered her but she kept interrupting even after I said, "I don't talk to you, I talk to her (Magda), help your customer. And she kept talking. Really? Is it the customer service here at TJMAXX? I even asked, "Are you the manager?" I know she is not. So I ignored her which is also uncomfortable for me because all the customers were in line. I talked to Joaquin (The Manager) of course he said, "Yes...yes.yes... I see it"
I hope he address and helps his staff for this.
Thank you,
Imelda Gultom

I was a fan of TJMax until today. I went to check out at TJ Max and when the cashier rang up my sale it was way higher than I expected. When I questioned the amount it was determined a comforter I purchased had two price tags and I had not noticed the higher one. A employee from the bedding department told the cashier to honor the lower price and walked away. Then I was told by another employee that "a customer" had apparently changed the price tag and the store would not honor the price then proceeded to pull the lower price tag off the item destroying it. At this point I asked to speak to the manager who also indicated the price tag had been tampered with by "a customer" and TJ Max would not honor the price on the comforter. I asked the cashier to verify the employee from the bedding department had said to honor the price and she said she was not sure. I was so embarrassed and humiliated standing at the register with three TJ Max employees announcing the price had been tampered with on the item I was trying to purchase and making me feel like a thief. I will never shop at TJ Max again and considering contacting an attorney.

Having been a customer since before TJ's was spooned from Marshalls in Beverly MA., I am very disappointed of your choice in billing partner, Synchrony Bank. Having encountered their uninformative billings and aggressive pursuit of payment ( I was subject to the USPS poor mail forwarding last fall and again this winter) this group puts out for you as well as other retail groups they service to include Citgo, Gap etc,, I am cancelling your card with them. When there is a problem they will offer a quick payment solution via customer's Debit card. Considering the number of issues with computer pirating or internal misuse of customer information,, I would never give my bank debit card # to anyone. This can result in massive losses to the customer with no recourse other than being issuing a new card from retailer.
I will use my Visa card issued by my bank. The rewards offered by the TJ Maxx card are trivial compared to exposure of my debit card information to malware. But will still love TJ/Marshalls/ Homegoods not so much Sierra.Choose a better billing partner and will be glad to come back to your card.
Tip for consumers:
Avoid Synchrony Bank at all costs. Us other credit cards if retailer uses them as their billing service.

I recently had a terribly unpleasant experience while trying to return a jacket at TJ Maxx/HomeGoods Chino Spectrum Market in CA. The associate I encountered, named Evelyn, displayed no greetings or smiles throughout our interaction. In fact, she maintained a poker face and exhibited a very bad attitude.
On 09/29/2023, I wanted to return a jacket that cost $200, and I had the receipt with me. However, what disturbed me greatly was that Evelyn and her supervisor started conversing in Spanish right in front of me. This behavior was highly inappropriate and unprofessional, especially considering they were aware that I did not understand the language. The implied suspicion and possible accusation of theft because of the jacket's high price made me feel incredibly uncomfortable. When I initially purchased the jacket, I was clearly advised not to remove the red tag unless I was certain I wanted to keep it. So, upon returning it with the red tag still intact and accompanied by the receipt, I expected a smoother process without these unjustified suspicions. It seems as if every customer is treated as a potential thief, which is wholly unfair.
Furthermore, I also attempted to return two additional items without a receipt. I was aware of the store's policy stating that customers without a receipt would receive store credit. However, Evelyn, with her unwelcoming demeanor, insisted that I sift through all my emails to locate that elusive receipt. Her unfriendly tone and overall attitude completely ruined the shopping experience at this establishment for me.
Overall, the level of service provided by Evelyn was far from satisfactory. Her lack of professionalism, inappropriate use of a foreign language in front of customers, and questionable suspicion towards me left me feeling utterly mistreated. Instead of enjoying my visit to TJ Maxx/HomeGoods Chino Spectrum Market, I was met with disappointment and frustration. The management of this store should ensure that such experiences do not occur in the future, as it only harms their reputation as a customer-friendly establishment.

Although it is discounted apparel, I still think that some of the item they sell should be a little cheaper than they are.

I've been a customer since the 80s, and began also buying on-line from them several years ago. Yesterday the $170 aquatalia boots I bought on-line were delivered-however, a $24.99 pair of camo sneakers (in 3 sizes smaller, and super ugly) were in the package Instead. I stupidly took them to the local store here in glens falls NY-where I was treated as a "scammer" by 3 sales associates and had many customers smirking and gawking. The manager was nice, but of course refused return- wouldn't even call customer service. I realized later he thought I was a scammer too, he questioned if I shopped at Marshalls too. I said yes, why?! He pointed out that the shoe box had a Marshalls code sticker attached. I suppose that was absolute "proof" of my criminality. I spend thousands a year at tj max, but now I'm so stressed and losing sleep. It's not the $, it was being judged and deemed a scammer by dozens of people- when I'm the victim and suffering here. I have to wait several more days since they are only available Mon-Fri for phone help.I drove way out of my way today for this return attempt, (with my family since we had plans- so they upset too) and now I have to wait a few more days for an aggravating phone conversation, then what? Return by mail at my own expense and a long trip to UPS? Nope. I obviously won't pay my tjmaxx credit card that this purchase was made on- and I'll suffer a drop in my credit rating?! Being pessimistic right now but I'm just so angry.

On 1/2/24 while shopping at the TJ MAXX at 215 Clinton Plaza, store IN Clinton Conn I can upon an open box of Awake Coffee Pods. Upon my time to check the item out with the cashier I asked the cashier if I could get a discount for the "Open Box". The cashier took the item to a woman with short hair dark hair who was said to be the Manager. The woman who was also ringing-up customers as well, stuck her unclean hands into the box of coffee pods, counted them and stated "NO", THEY ARE ALL there. I told her how unprofessional her behavior is. As a manager to stick her unclean, unwashed dirty hands into a box of anything meant for human consumption for anyone other than herself. I didn't ask for a discount because of a missing item, I asked because the open box.
She was unapologetic, brass and believed it was her right do so and said such. I was so embarrassed because I knew she believes she was not wrong. SHAME ON TJMAXX for thinking she should manage anything

I was asked if I wanted a store card to save 10 % I assumed it was a discount card so I agreed and a few min later the cashier informed me I dodnt qualiry for their credit card of which I had no idea I was applying for so I asked her if that did a hard hit on my credit report as I have been trying to improve my credit, she told me NO it wouldnt. Later when i got home i checked credit karma and realized she lied not only didnt she clearly explain that it was a store credit card but it removed 17 points from my credit report. So be aware before applying for their discount card its actially a store credit card that removes points from credit score. Had the cashier told me it was a credit card I wouldn't have applied I knew I wouldnt qualify for one yet.

Ordered some items for my upcoming birthday online, was hoping to wear a dress for the occasion. A week later received an email stating my order was canceled. After calling the support was notified there was an issue with my payment method. I was very surprised, I use TJ Maxx credit card all the time and I didnt receive any alerts. Called the bank and they told me payment was processed but cancelled by the online store. Called online support again asking to just restore my order and charge the card (even though it was late for my Bday I still liked the items i picked). Representative replied that it was impossible to do and if I want these I will have to find and order again, no way they can help me. After my logical reasoning that they are the one cancelled the order and it will take me hours to find these again I was notified the claim will be submitted and they call me back next week. Guess what? No one did and when I called another representative had no clue what's going on and after another request to reinstate my order just put me on hold and after 15mins just hang up. Terrible customer service. And I guess they are not in selling business - my order was over $600 and this company doesnt care about money or customers for that matter.

It depends on the store location you can find items you like. There shoe selection has gone down hill. Purse selection is still great.

I ordered via TJMaxx.com 5 items. Loved 4 of them, all 4 as described and per wayfair, houzz, etc, were about 2/3 cheaper than what the other sites were selling the same items for. HOWEVER, the "large tufted champagne colored ottoman" arrived as the wee small PINK footstool. Dimensions stated under the description online was 24in D x 17in H. The pink footstool they shipped me was 11" in height and about 15" in diameter. An attempt at a disgusting shady online bait and switch. Not only did I have to take this Barbie pink footstool back to a physical store but I had to wait in one both very long bay area line for buyers and returns to obtain my refund. No issues with the refund, but if the warehouse didn't have what I ordered in stock they should have canceled that part of the order instead of trying to see if I'd have kept the hugely overpriced footstool and hff having me take my time to lug their error back to one of their stores. Just low end and vile warehouse employees they probably recruited off the corner somewhere... in skidrow.
