I ordered my dress Sunday and received it the following thursday. The dress is exactly what i was hoping for! It's an extra small so i was a little hesitant but the size chart they have truly matches the description. I will defiantly order more items from this website.

This is another copy cat clothing site that gives you the classic bait & switch - photographs of gorgeous, well made dresses on the website that look nothing like the product you receive. Return policy on the packing slip states 30 days which they refuse to honor, citing the 10 day policy on their website. (Then update your packing slips.) Don't waste your time or money.

I've had good luck with Tobi for the most part. The clothes I've ordered are cute and good quality. But I had a problem with the most recent dress I ordered. I ordered an XS based off the measurements of the dress and my own measurements. It should have fit, but it was soooo tight I couldn't zip it and my shoulders felt like they were going to bust the dress at the seams. I dropped it off at UPS to be returned the next day, and ordered a size Small as an exchange. It arrived quickly and fit well - still a little small but good enough. But for the exchange return money... it's been well over 3 weeks now (that's just including business days) and the return has yet to even be processed. I don't know why on EARTH it could possibly take this long. Basically the lesson with Tobi is to be 99.9% sure you won't need to return or exchange an item before ordering, because you won't see a return into your account for a month or later. Not worth it when there are other cute clothes sites like Lulus that are more reliable and prompt with returns and exchanges.

I placed 2 orders when I ordered from Tobi for the first time to take advantage of a sale. I ordered 3 dresses in the first order, and 2 bodysuits and one skirt in the second. They both arrived on the expected day- except, however, upon opening one of the packages, I realized they sent me someone else's order! It didn't even have my name on it! Obviously frustrated, I emailed them immediately demanding my original order.

I'll say this, they do have good customer service. Someone responded immediately, apologized, and told me they would reship my real order. Unfortunately, one of the dresses from that order was now out of stock, but I was refunded for that item, and they overnight express-ed my two other dresses.

However, the quality of their clothing is the real reason I will not order from Tobi again. Their pictures make their clothes look gorgeous and good quality, but in person they just aren't. Both dresses I ordered came in looking like they were made out of that cheap plastic birthday table covering, and were lined with wrinkle lines from packaging. The body suits were ok, but not worth $40, more like $10. The dress was again very wrinkled and the pleats were terribly misshapen. Not to mention everything was just a little too big to be a medium.

Very disappointed, but should have expected it from a cheap online clothing store I saw on a Facebook ad.

Tip for consumers:
Definitely avoid their nicer dresses- they will not look good enough to wear to a formal event.

Awful company

I ordered a few items and tried to use their welcome code.
Unfortunately the code did not work. Not only that- when I hit pay, the website stopped working... when i tried to click pay again... the items i wanted were out of stock.
I placed a new item in exchanged for the original item that was no longer available.
I clicked pay and all was good.

I later checked my email and saw that two charges came out to Tobi -
I immediately emailed them and explained that i did not want the first order... however their awful customer service decided to send out the first package not the second... after a whole ordeal i managed to get the second order sent out.
Whilst all of this was going on (lots of back and forth) I realised that i never received a refund... i was then told i cannot recieve a refund even though their website crashed... they'd only give me store credit...
Long story short... after emailing back and forth they agreed to send me a refund.

During the time i sent back the package and now (im waiting for money, they're saying the package wasn't returned) i have had to deal with the WORST customer serviced and have been made out to feel like a liar... whoever is working there is really rude and absolutely has no class... theres been no apology or an attempt to help out.

Ive decided to call the back and get a refund as the people who work in customer service are truly awful and dont care...

I wouldn't recommend using this website.

This is the first time I've ever felt compelled to write a review on a company. I am astonished at the horrible customer service provided by Tobi. I decided to return a few items since the quality of the items were poor. I sent out my return on August 30th from NYC. I have yet to receive a refund or even a confirmation of receipt. At this point I have reached out to ever department at Tobi several time. I have probably reached out 30+ times because I am concerned that this site is a scam or that my return has been misplaced. Despite continuously emailing and following up, the only response I have received was a generic response saying that the refund process takes around 14 days. I am now past the 14 day mark and have received no acknowledgment of my emails since. Email is the only way to contact ANY department at Tobi. I have tried contacting every department to see if I can at least receive a response from someone that works there. Coming from someone who has never written a review before, PLEASE DO NOT SHOP HERE. It is not worth the aggravation.

I will provide an update if the situation improves.

I bought two dresses at the suggestions of friends and the material was cheap and the way it was designed to hold dresses together was stupidly designed. Total rip-off

Great! Responds to emails if you have questions. If you subscribe to their emails, you get 30% off codes periodically. Nice site for buying designer clothing!

I did not receive an order that I placed and tried to contact them for a refund, but they refused to refund me money for a product I never received.
I placed the order on August 18th and ordered over 30 items of clothing for a total of $932.04. I did not go through my items one by one to make sure it was all there, but assumed that it was. When I went back to the website to return a few items, that is when I noticed that I was missing an item from the order. I contacted them immediately because it was still within their 30 day return policy. They refused to refund me my money because I didn't notify them 5 days after I had received the order. It's not noted anywhere on their website about notifying them when you don't receive an item. They send out another swim suit, but I wanted a refund since summer is already over there would be no sense in my getting a swim suit now. They sent it out anyways to an old address which will not get to me anyways. I have had numerous conversations with Tobi's customer service and many of their reps there. They were extremely rude and unprofessional about the matter. I will refuse to pay for an item that I never received. They need to double check the order before they send the package out. The swim sui was $138 dollars and I want a refund for a product that I never received.

Tip for consumers:
I would be very careful with ordering any items on this site. I would definitely double check your order, it seems like a scam when they charge you for items they never sent you!

My experience has been awful and will probably never be buying here again, only now I'll have store credit if it ever comes. It thought 2 weeks for my order to come in which was passed the day I needed the dress for a graduation photoshoot. I rescheduled the shoot and was excited when it finally came in only to discover it was the WRONG DRESS. So now I had the wrong dress no dress for the rescheduled photoshoot and the dress I ordered was now OUT OF STOCK. I am now waiting for my refund which is sadly store credit because I would never order here again.

I'm always hesitant when making online purchases. Tobi ships fairly quick. Everything I've ordered came within 3 days after being shipped from Northern California. I wouldn't recommend ever buying anything full price from them because they usually have 50% sales and 50% off your first purchase. I've already received 4 items from them and I've been pleased with my purchases. In terms of quality, so far so good! The quality overall is between a 3.5 out of 5. It really depends on the item. I want to say similar to Forever21. I've washed them a few times and they still look fine. One of the dresses I purchased had thin material but it was more of a outdoor casual dress so I didn't mind since it's not see-through anyways. They do sell some brand clothing, such as MINKPINK. Sizing can be tricky. They do post what size the model is and what she's wearing but it's not always reliable as I try to see if the clothing looks fitted or loose. I've ordered different sizing just because of that. If you're not pleased with your purchase, you're able to return it for free. I haven't had an issue of returning anything yet. The refund took about a week but I did receive the full amount without any issues. Also, they have final sale items that you cannot return which sucks if the item wasn't your size or did not meet your expectations.

Long story short - I bought a hoodie last week and never heard anything from them. I checked my account yesterday and it said they were processing my order. I check my credit card and it was charged so I assumed they were preparing to ship my order.

Today, I checked on my order again to see if a tracking number was up and to my surprise my order was cancelled. No email or notification what so ever. The item I had ordered was out of stock. Yet my credit card was still charged.

I immediately emailed their customer service and they respond by saying they don't have any orders under my email and if I had used a different email. They were unable to provide any help whatsoever and basically told me they couldn't do anything.

I had to call my bank and dispute the charge. Never again will I order from Tobi.com. They are the worst online clothing company.

Tobi.com, if you ever read this, here are some suggestions to improve.
1. If you cancel an order a customer makes, please CONTACT them and let them know.
2. And don't charge them if you have no intention of shipping them their order.
3. Better customer service. If you make a mistake, fix it. Don't tell your customer "there's nothing we can do."

Yeah if you live in Australia you can forget this site. Ordered a jumpsuit with a white bodice & black poka dot shorts as is advertised on the website & paid about $50 for it.
Ended up with a flimsy paper thin piece of $#*! material top & the poka dot shorts were no where to be found.
Returned them for a refund. It's been 2 weeks now. I've messaged them 4 times &each replie's been an automated email which means their guaranteed customer service is total bull$#*!. Sizing was $#*! too. Materials poor. And I've wasted.$50 on that stupid site.
WARNING TO ALL GIRLS. THIS SITE IS A TOTAL PIECE OF BULL$#*! IF YOU'RE OREDERING FROM OUT OF THE US. $#*! customer service. $#*! quality & a whole lot of FALSE ADVERTISING.

After placing an order with Tobi last Thursday, I decided to read reviews. Yep, that's right... I waited until AFTER I had already ordered. Dumb mistake? Could have easily been. After reading reviews, I became instantly filled with regret... how could I have made such a stupid decision? I sat thinking I wasn't going to get my order, everything would be horrible, and so on and so forth. Today, Monday, I received my package. ALL of my stuff was there... YAY! So, I tried everything on. I purchased three cardigans and a dress. The three cardigans all were just as expected... except softer. They fit perfectly. The dress, I will say, was somewhat misrepresented on the site. The model was supposedly 5'9" and it came to about her knees. I am barely 5'4" and it wouldn't have came near that length... had I been able to squeeze into it. Definitely order a size up in dresses! All in all, it was a good experience! I ordered my stuff late Thursday... closer to Friday, really... and received it today - Monday.

So I ordered about $520 worth of clothes since it was 50% off and figured I would be able to return items I did not like. I receive my shipment fairly quick. But when I open it, it is somebody else's order, worth only about $120. Non of which are my size. And there is even a sorry we messed up your order, note here is a comp. Bracelet. So I'm thinking, geez... they messed this girls order up twice! I kept waiting for my package and wrote them saying they sent me somebody else's shipment. They responded quick saying sorry and here is another 50% off code for us messing up. They asked if I received my order and I said I wasn't sure... I still need to check w my apt office. Once I finally realize that is the wrong package is the same tracking # as what is linked to my order... I write them again the next day saying... I still have not received my order & they basically sent me somebody else's instead... and at this point want a refund and I'll send the other girls stuff back. No Respone emails now! I've emailed them twice! Thankfully I'm sure my credit card will refund me the money if I report it within 30 days. So wish I would have read reviews first.

Do not buy from! Cloths aren't even close to being true to size, and Tobi clearly doesn't care about customer service or improving the quality of their products at all. I ordered a dress for nearly $100, checked the sizing measurements prior to ordering and when I received it, the dress was at least 2 sizes smaller than a true fit size. I couldn't even zip it up.

Then when you try to make a return (for a legitimate reason that is not your fault as the customer at all) you will be told that your only option is to receive a store credit. Did I mention that it took over 2 weeks and multiple emails later to receive even 1 reply from them? I would have called but they don't list a phone number anywhere. Had I known when I was in the checkout process that a store credit was my only option if the dress didn't work out, I wouldn't have even risked it. The Tobi return policies are BURIED in the website so all in all it seems like Tobi is aware of the sizing issue (especially having read some of the other reviews here) and yet continues to happily accept nearly $100 for one item but isn't willing to make it right for the customer that is giving them that nearly $100. It's online retailers like this that give e-commerce a bad reputation.

Know in ADVANCE of buying that you won’t get your money back no matter what

DO NOT DO IT! ITS NOT WORTH IT!

I ordered a dress almost 2 weeks ago for a gala, and it still hasn't come. It wasn't till after I payed for the dress and emailed them about any updates that they informed me that they were moving locations and were not going to make the 3-6 business day they promised at checkout! DO NOT EVEN BOTHER, TERRIBLE QUALITY, TERRIBLE COMPANY, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!
