We set a lunch date with friends. We were so glad that we arrived early and secured a table in the back of the restaurant. The restaurant does a brisk lunch trade – which is a good thing for them. Even when the dining area filled up, we were able to easily hear each other.
We each had something different. My husband enjoyed The Original Steak sub with just provolone cheese and a little mayo on a toasted, 10-inch Italian sub roll. I know that their pizzas and subs are really good, so I decided to try something different. I ordered the Fettuccine Bolognese. The fettuccine was properly cooked, and the Bolognese sauce was delicious. It was such a generous portion that I took some home for dinner. Our friends ordered the Prosciutto and Mozzarella sub, which was packed with thinly sliced Italian prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, Roma tomatoes, fresh basil, EVOO, and balsamic mayo spread; and the lunch combo of 2 slices of cheese pizza and a drink.
We all were delighted with our lunches. You can BYOB to Tony's.
