TopStack Resume

I did my research and found that TopStack rated well and has good reviews for the most part. I purchased the Professional Package (after all, I am one, and need my resume to be solid). Happily, I received a skilled and experienced writer. I sent him Word docs of my existing resumes that were frustrating me. He tied everything together in a pleasant, presentable and marketable way to a single, easily-read resume. I'm looking forward to now updating my Linked In profile, and putting my newly approved documents out for competition.

I had contacted Top Stack a over a week ago, with still no services being attended to. They sent an email part way stating that they are searching for a writer to assist but never heard back. I had to contact them today to follow up and they said that it is on their board, but they still do not have a writer to assist. They even went on to say that they have a bonus for my file for the writers, which means that their staff isn't experienced enough to handle a professional/senior resume like mine. If you are offering professional writing services, then experienced writers should be on staff. There was no attempt to assist, or offer discount etc. but to ask again if anyone would take my file. In the time I was chatting with them, a competitor had already reached out and physically called me back. Do not recommend at all, which is unfortunate as they looked legit.

I worked with Christopher Taylor, who was very fast and professional. I did not expect that I would be responded to until after the weekend. However, it is now Monday and I already have my final documents. Thank you!

I'm extremely satisfied with the finished product and Simone, my writer was amazing! She was attentive and detail oriented. She took what little I had on an old resume, and combined with a couple of telephone conversations, turned it into something I'm proud to submit to prospective employers.

Haley was a great resume writer. She was thorough, efficient, and quick to discuss opportunities and strengths while managing suggestions. Through the expedited process her turn around was amazing. LinkedIn profile and cover letter were written directly to my experience. She took her time and although her profile says over 400 resumes written, you can tell every single one has been catered to the professional she has worked with and a lot of effort has been put into everyone. I've had the same resume for over 10 years, I've recently been out of work for nearly 3 years now, for the first time in my life. I sent them a professionally written CV. Merely make some updates and asked that they review and ensure would pass ATS. Instead he adds wording that looked like a 5th grader wrote it, grammatically incorrect, and made my name a font of 50 plus. He also missed the corrections he was asked to catch. Not to mention missed the deadline on what was basically 1 hour of work, and skipped entirely the primary ask of taking a summary page and testimonials (again already written) and simply ensuring that had a once over to catch anything I missed as busy, and that it aligned in font to the main doc. Complete and utter waste of my time. Felt like i was being punked. Do not use this service.

I don't understand the reviews of this service. I am a 40-something working professional who was looking to improve my resume and LinkedIn. What I received was pathetic-obvious typos and grammatical issues, basic language making me sound entry level, not an established professional. I had to end up writing it myself with the help of others. HUGE waste of money. Do not buy! Just look up samples online.

I found Florida to be a tough market for my job search so I thought I would have my resume "Professionally improved ". What a waste of time! The writer lied to me about sending a draft and they ended up backing out of the job with no explanation!

Waste of money for a cover letter and resume. I needed a resume writer because I am attempting to change industries. The writer just merely added skills that I don't have for the new industry, added made up statistics for production numbers and efficiencies, and even made up statements regarding new processes implemented that I never mentioned. While the turn-around time was excellent not much time was put into it for the $200 charge. I am not sure if this is normal for resume writers but I could not believe it. I could not in good conscience use this revision. Even after further revisions I am stuck rewriting the resume and cover letter.

I was very reluctant on making a decision in where as to trusting someone else creating a resume for me. Although the one I had created was terrible to say the least, and not only that, how would someone that I have never met make my resume? But I am very glad I made the decision and gave it a try. My writer was very professional and prompt. He asked questions he needed to create in my opinion an awesome resume.

I recently contacted TopStack to update my resume & LinkedIn Profile. The communication was exactly as stated on their website and my consultant, Jessica, was very responsive and easy to communicate with. The initial resume she sent was so on "on point" that only a few minor revisions were needed and I had the finished product in just a few days. I thought Topstack offered better value in terms of services rendered for the cost and am very pleased overall with this service.

I am a long time executive assistant and production manager (10 years of experience) and was looking to upgrade my resume as I look to level up with a new job, so I paid TopStack for a professional resume. The first copy I received did not make any sense, had changed my job titles/moved them around making them completely illogical and not in alignment with my professional history at all. The edited version was not better, had incomplete and run on sentences, was extremely dense and scored very poorly with ATS. I was offered another writer, they criticized my lack of cover letter (how do they know if I write a cover letter? I ALWAYS do) and gave me unhelpful interview pointers, and delivered essentially the same resume just in a different format. I did attempt to use it a few times but then felt that I did not want to be associated with that resume and ended up completely re-writing it after over a month of rejections and feedback that my resume was illogical and dense.

Connor did an amazing job working with me and putting this new resume together! I wanted to review this after I received feedback from potential employers looking at my resume and LinkedIn page. I couldn't believe all the new amount of traffic my profile and resume reviews got after getting this much needed fix.

She not only went above and beyond with the style of how the resume & cover letter was formatted but she took time to really prep me for my upcoming interviews. I provided my original resume, which I felt needed some expert review as I had only received a couple of interviews since being laid off.
I only had email correspondence despite asking to speak with the resume writer. It was a tall order to review the drafts with only 2 reviews before the final draft, but I put faith in Clark Jospeh, my writer.
Since I had my resume written I have had zero interviews.

The quality of service provided by this company is awesome. I sincerely appreciate the efficient, gracious customer service, the level of detail and accountability they have demonstrated on each project, and the way they conduct business as a whole.
