Tortoisetown

I purchased a yellow belly slider turtle from them. Never received shipping/tracking info. Just my receipt was emailed. On the site the only option for shipping is over night, which I paid 39.95 for one turtle. My turtle never showed up the next day/days. None of my phone calls, emails, messages through facebook were replied. They are extremely had to get into contact with! In a sense I hope this is all just a scam, because the thought of a turtle dying in a box is just ugh. Just save your time and money!

I've heard of people ordering tortoises and getting very sick and unhealthy tortoises or turtles, the wrong turtles, or nothing at all. I ordered a crested gecko so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with having a good order, but shes arrived in seemingly pretty great health so far. The very big problem for me is the fact that it took a month or so for them to even ship it to me. I got a notice out of no where that my order had been completed and they were shipping it, so I checked my orders and I got a tracking number and it arrived the day after. If you get anything from here make sure not to forget about it or else you might have an animal in a box that you didn't even know was supposed to be arriving. Overall it was an ok experience, didn't think they would actually send my animal though.

We ordered a blue iguana hatchling (named Cyan now) who showed up in perfect health. They are well socialized and, even though iguanas are skittish, this guy calms down easily when startled. Building more trust every day, I'm able to gently handle them multiple times a day to help them remain comfortable with handling. Tortoise Town was very helpful and answered all of my questions as they came. We're in love with our new edition and very grateful to Tortoise Town for such a beautiful, captive bred animal.

GREAT SERVICE! We absolutely LOVE our new baby Hermann tortoise who arrived this week. She is perfect, interactive, and adored by my kids. It was easy to work with this company. They e-mailed back same day when I had questions. They shipped exactly when they said they would 2 days after I contacted them and our tortoise arrived the day that was scheduled packaged carefully. The phone number didn't work when I called, but e-mailing was easy and fast and actually more convenient, so I would try that if you have questions.

I've had no fewer than 7,000 questions about raising tortoises and the team of Brieanna, Joanna, Ray or Brian always respond quickly, kindly and very informatively! Dealing with company was hands down the worst experience with customer service I have ever had in my life. I ordered a Florida Box Turtle. First, they told me they didn't have my order at all. Then, they said they found it and "here is your tracking number", but there was no tracking number. So, I called to get it and when I did, the lady who answered the phone told me I was getting a Gulf Coast Box Turtle. I emailed and called all day and night, but no one responded until I received ONE email that didn't even make sense the next morning telling me to "please calm down". I'm not sure yet if I'm going to take legal recourse.
