After, reading all the horrible reviews I was compelled to write a good one. I have ordered from from ToMO many times and all of their products are amazing the hand carve chess set was by far the best Christmas gift given in my entire life. I also was given store credit for a pair of shoes that didn't fit my husband even pass the 7 days. Yes, customer service via email was a pain and needs improvement for sure but in the end I received the credit. The only reason why I gave a 4 star and not 5 is because the company needs to get under logistics. The product can take months to get.

I made a purchase with ToMo recently, and they promised the shipment in 2-3 weeks. One month later nothing was shipped nor did they send any update or explanation. After I contacted their support, they said it was the vendor's fault and they could not provide any ETA. I asked then to cancel the order and send me money back – which they refused saying the "order was final". I explained to them that they are in violation of FTC rules and that I did not approve any delays and want me refund, which they simply ignored and then kept saying me automated responses that the sale is final. I had to contact my credit card company and dispute the charge to get my money back. Will never buy from these guys, it's clearly a scam.
Touch of Modern has terrible customer service and sells inferior products. I purchased a convertible beanbag chair. It is supposed to be stuffed with a queen sized beanbag mattress. The mattress that I received is stuffed with shredded foam (old and hard). When I contacted Touch of Modern about a return I received an email saying that the product was a final sale and can't be returned. The only place that I could find that information was on the invoice after I placed the order. Save yourself some grief and hours of aggregation, don't purchase anything from Touch of Modern!

I spent 2300 on a watch that is supposed to be gently used. It was promised in 3 day delivery. 10 days later, I can't even get them to respond to where the watch is. This company is a scam, or so poorly run, it should be out of business. Please do not buy from them. It's a nightmare.
Bought item 10/15/21, said it would ship in 2 to 4 weeks. It is now 11/21/21 and the item still has not shipped. Asked for a refund and was denied, with a statement that all sales were final. I will never do business with them again. I am about to call the bank and report them for fraudulent transactions.

We received a men's shirt that we ordered and when it came it didn't fit like a XL should. We tried for over 2 weeks to return it and never heard a response to all our e mails to them we sent. We followed their return procedure and still no response. Very poor and we won't be ordering anything from "Touch of Modern" again.

Their return policy is very restrictive even for defective items. You need to send in a picture of the defect within 2 days of receipt. Their customer service sucks big time! Impossible to talk to a human. They just ignore every message sent through their website.
Don't even bother to buy here in the first place.
A charge showed up on my cc recently for a purchase I do not recall making several weeks ago. They have no phone number so used email to attempt to resolve. I shared the appropriated banking transaction information with them and denied making the purchase. I requested they provide appropriated documentation for the purchase or return the funds. To date, they have done neither. My next step is the Better Business Bureau in their location.
It's been over 45 days and I still have not received my order. I left several messages with customer service and still don't know when my order will arrive. I sent another email to customer service to cancel my order and refund my credit card. Let's see what they say. As a first-time customer of TOM it's unfortunate that my experience has been negative because I will not order from them again.
You have to place the order to find out it won't ship for 4 weeks and if from china that will add weeks on top on that. I realized this after I got my confirmation and the refuse to cancel and refund my money. I strongly suggest looking somewhere else to buy items on their site.

Placed a order for a bottle of Bourbon on 21 December. It is now 25 January and all I see is "PO Sent". If you don't want to wait...try another site. I can get a 65 inch tv in 2/5 days but a bottle is taking over 6 weeks!
I purchased a knife from ToM and was excited when it arrived. That was until I opened the tiny package!
Not only was it so small as to unusable but they refused to accept a return even though that type of knife is against the law in New York state. $60.00 for a knife that's too small to cut butter!

Don't wast your time shopping with ToM. They advertised a Garmin product (bike pedals), sent me the wrong item and now won't issue a refund and they have my item back in stock. After circa 30 emails - to which I never get a reply - I'm claiming back via my credit card. This is one truly awful company - AVOID

Touch of Modern used to be a great company. That is definitely no longer the case. I've purchased dozens of items from them in the past with little or no issues. However, in the past several months none of my orders have been fulfilled. After waiting several weeks past the estimated shipping time, my attempts to cancel an order for a refund has been frustratingly difficult. I was not given the opportunity to deny or consent to a delayed shipping time. Which means Touch of Modern is not in compliance with FTC regulations. The person who responded to my email request to cancel the order either doesn't know what rights consumers have, or doesn't care.
I really wish that I read all these reviews before ordering from TOM. I ordered an arcade in the beginning of November and still have not received it and it is now almost Christmas. I keep getting the run around from Customer Service which by the way is a JOKE. They use preset templates and never actually resolve your issue. I did not know this was a Third-Party company that gets it's products from other merchants that are probably located in China. Trying to reach someone is almost impossible. They tried to give me a $25 dollar credit and I told them I was not interested because I would not be purchasing anything else from this site. Just give me what I ordered and I will be done!

I recently received an apple watch strap from Touch of Modern that I never ordered. I was shocked to see that they had one of my credit cards on their site since I don't remembered seeing it. When I sent and email saying that I never ordered it. I sent a reply that since it was a final sale and no returns. I have changed my password AND removed my credit card. I would advise customers to remove their credit cards ASAP to prevent this fraudulent activity from happening. I have since put touch of modern into my spam folder.

I have ordered three items. One was OK and the other two were cheap garbage that they conveniently made "non returnable." Buyer beware that most items cannot be returned, including items that are not labeled as having sizes on the website (i. E., they appear universal) and then do not fit.
I ordered 2 pillows and one mattress pillow top, they sent me 3 pillows and charged me for the original order. I kept emailing and sending messages until my emails were blocked, and don't seem to make it to them. Worst experience ever. I will never order from them again and I used to get things from them all the time. But this is the last. Save yourself the trouble of emailing them to fix their mistake and being ignored.
Very Very poor. They gave a seven day return policy at christmas. They sent my complaint up the ladder and I was told it was 9 days. I contacted them on the tenth day.

If I could give touch of modern 0 stars, I would. Their customer service sucks. You can only communicate with these $#*!es through an email, and they respond with an automated template of a response. I have been waiting on a lamp, for over a month, as if it was being shipped from China somewhere. My next step is to contact my local news station about this unsatisfactory experience.
They refuse refunds, but keeps apolo lying about how sorry they are, and blame all shipping issues on COVID-19. I want my mother $#*!ing money, right now.

This so called company has ties with china, where they buy the products from. Their advertisment on OANN shows four black males and one brown female. This is an anti white race company owned by chinese.
They really have gone downhill, like crashed and burned.
I have made dozens of purchases over the last few years and when I had issues, their response was prompt and courteous but they're absolutely terrible now. Items don't ship until months after the stated/expected delivery date (if at all), then they say there's a delay but the same item pops up for sale again with a faster delivery timeline than the order I placed 45 days ago, WTH? See receipt, two orders weeks overdue with no movement.
And now support is terrible, sending cut and paste responses and going in circles rather than a human answering you (or reading your email) and then they ghost. Latest is they canceled the wrong order because they failed to read the email string.
Lastly, they don't like to refund you, they offer a store credit. I can no longer recommend them, very sad, they lost a loyal customer.

Sounds awesome and fun novelty. Ordered 5,1 for me $42 and 4 for my kids and nephews $20/each. All garbage!
The one for me (ghost hunter) will not even load a toothpick into the guide. I'm at least going to drill it out and make it work. The others (bowman) only shoot a toothpick a wobbly 3-4 feet max, not the meters as advertised. On these I can cut some add'l steel to make them stronger, but why should I have to fix their garbage. Stay away!
In asking for a refund and return label (as any reputable company would allow), their response was "The items purchased in Order #xxxxxxxxxxx are Final sale, not eligible for return or cancellation - this is specified on the product page prior to the purchase."
We worked with Touch of Modern twice already and both times it took 2-3 months after shipping all products to receive payment. They break their own contracts all the time which are suppose to be net30. If you're a small company and you're considering working with them, this cannot be your only customer. The growth is alright as well as exposure but don't expect to make a lot or get paid on on time.
Ordered my package on December 15th, but the website never told me when the product would arrive. I keep checking the status and it said it shipped on the 17th, but there are no other updates about its whereabouts. Christmas is in 2 days and I ordered this gift for a family member who will now not receive this gift. I am truly disappointed. After reading all other reviews, it seems as if I won't be getting my product any time soon... it is too bad I didn't check these reviews ahead of time. I hope not everyone makes the same mistake. This is unacceptable... Companies like this are blood-sucking and could care less about consumer happiness.
