After, reading all the horrible reviews I was compelled to write a good one. I have ordered from from ToMO many times and all of their products are amazing the hand carve chess set was by far the best Christmas gift given in my entire life. I also was given store credit for a pair of shoes that didn't fit my husband even pass the 7 days. Yes, customer service via email was a pain and needs improvement for sure but in the end I received the credit. The only reason why I gave a 4 star and not 5 is because the company needs to get under logistics. The product can take months to get.

I ordered from them and they offered payment via Sezzle. Even so it was a small amount - $89 - why not. I sure regret this now. Sezzle has already deducted the 1st payment and is ready to do the 2nd one in a couple of days even so I never received the merchandise I ordered nor can "Touch of Modern" even give an estimated shipping date. Both companies just answer with canned messages. Total rip off

I ordered two vests from TOM and received a package several weeks later. I opened the package to find only one vest. Since they have no customer service phone number, you have to email them. Problem is, they don't reply with any human dialogue. It's all premade responses. No human interaction. Awful.

I purchased an Italian Coffee machine from them but got a different, cheaper (by over $1000) model from them last week, Since then I have been trying to get in touch with them. Email, link to customer service, text. No response of any kind.
They took my money and clammed up. Call it a scam, call it robbery, but stay away from this company.

Touch of modern uses 3ed party shippers for much of their product line, so when you order you may find that the product is back ordered, after some time in my case 2 months, I tried to contact customer service. Every time I was brushed off, or told the they were back logged in delivery inquiries, and we will get back to you. We are in month 3 and no contact, and no product. Bottom line I called my credit card company to stop payment. Order from them at your own risk.
I purchased a product from Touch of Modernist over a month ago, expecting a 2-3 week delivery, and not to be charged prior to the item shipping... both lies! The site also said final sale, non-returnable. After not hearing anything for a month I tried calling but found they no longer provided phone support. I filed a cancellation request on-line and a few days later heard back that the item was a final sale and couldn't be cancelled, but they were working hard to fulfill and ship my merchandise! Since I couldn't argue the point with a website, I filed a complaint with PayPal and they are on the case. Buyer beware, wish I had visited this site first!
Have placed several orders with TOMO and those orders are still pending. Getting same responses from customer service and when you asked them again they ignore you. They have their money but I have no merchandise. They are a fraud!

I ordered something, and something arrived but it was not the item I ordered. The paper receipt in the box even had the correct item. After going back and forth for a month, I still do not have a refund and they want me to print a return label and send back for their mistake. My husband is recovering from open heart surgery and I literally barely have time to eat or take care of my basic needs. I shop online to make my life easier not harder. This is the WORST!

So called "Stunning damascus steel" but in reality you'll receive the rusted and defective knives. I bought a knife as a gift and was so excited, but then. I got the package, opened the box, and the knife is dull like it just came from the garbage. The tip was broken and knife was full of rust. It seems like they are selling their unsold stock. I am really disappointed. If I could give 0 star I would. The knife brand was cazadores knives.

I purchased a simple product and on stock and yet it will take five weeks to deliver? Which by the way they don't specify it would take that long. So I called to cancel the order and received the worst customer service yet from a company. Horrible customer service, they don't want to talk to you, the only communication is threw email then when you ask a question you get automated emails. Monday 1/10/22 I received a text from FedEx delivery stating my package is delivered at front door I open door nothing walk down three flights to see if package was left in lobby still nothing. I had to take a lost of 168 dollars because the company don't believe I never received that package and according to FedEx website after they deliver its no longer there problem. I ask my superintendent of the building to take a look at the cameras and let me know if FedEx delivered packages today at 10:28am. When I got the call back from superintendent he said no delivery today he didn't see FedEx delivery in the building. If touch of modern gave me a refund I would of ordered the same three products but change shipping address. Nobody cares.

This company uses this return policy to sell defective units. Even if the product is defective they still will not take back the product. I don't think anyone should purchase anything from this company.
I made an order that was repeatedly delayed and missed the delivery window I needed. I emailed them to cancel, yet the product arrived anyway.
The box looks like it was hit by a truck, and I have not opened it to see how wrecked the contents are. I again told them I had canceled, and the reply was too bad, with no returns on this item.
Good service is gone; waste money on good pictures and interesting copy. This is a garage sale at best.

4 weeks to ship a men's jacket. I reliably wear a 2-3xl but ordered a 4xl after looking at the sizes in their size chart. The jacket finally arrived and is marked 4xl but actually a Med-large. They wont let me return it since it was a sale item, so I am out $82. I've never seen such a disparity in listed size in an garment I've ever bought.

I initially gave them a single star review and am now editing it because they are refunding me my cost for a single item that came and did not work. To get to this point I literally told them they can deal with my credit card and the Secretary of State of MA (Bill Galvin) for their methods of not giving refunds with faulty products or replacing them. I intended to purchase a watch from this site with an estimated shipping date of 2-3 weeks. After 4 weeks I still had not seen any change to the status of my order and I emailed their customer service line. I received a prompt reply that basically told me "sorry, yes it's late". When I told them I wanted a refund they told me they would refer me to someone else who could help me and I have yet to hear from that person. At this point touchofmodern.com has stolen over $5000 from me since they do not appear able to deliver the merchandise I purchased and are not responding to me to get a refund.
Tried them a few times... deliveries always long. Last order for belts took more than the 7 day warranty they give you to determine that the buckle design was horrible and almost impossible to unlatch once on. Customer service was no help. Unsubscribing.
I placed an order over a month ago and still no delivery, I never heard from them by email with any explanation.
I reached out to them to get a refund. Apparently they don't give refunds only store credits... ha ha ha, why would i use touch of modern ever again to purchase from them with a store credit, just to have this happen again!

Back in Apri, i made a mistake and order this;lamp. They said 2 weeks delivery. Today is july 14th and still have no clue what happened. They were good 10 years ago but now i dont trust them anymore.please stay away from them.
Ordered on 17 Nov. Told ship in 3 to 4 weeks by Dec 16th. Over the next 6 weeks get 60 to 70 emails for other items, some promising delivery if ordered up to 7 days before Christmas. Dec 16 comes and goes with not shipment. Am told that item 1st has to be delivered to them in bulk, then they separate and pack and ship to you. When I check order online it says they have not yet received it in bulk and it is now Jan. 3rd. 8th week of waiting starts in 2 days. Inquire to them gets you a computer generated response. My advise is to find it elsewhere.
After purchasing several items from this site. I wrote to report that an item I had purchased had worked for litterally, 2.5 seconds before totally burning out and showing 0 signs of life!
I basicly received a lemon. And all they had to say is: it didnt seem to have had a proof of warranty advertised so we cannot be of any assistance.
